This study, examining 13 blood componets and physical fitness out of a group of the 57 middle aged males (age range, 40-45). The middle aged males whom we selected for this study were: 27 members of an early morning soccer club who has exercised more than 3 years-more than 30 minutes a day and more than 3 days a week; the 30 sedentary males of non-exercising group. Besides, this study investigated the difference in their blood components and physical fitness variables between the group which exercised regularly and continuously, and the non-exercising group. The results were was follows: 1) Except for blood glucose, total cholesterol, GOT, WBC, and RBC, the rest blood variables between the exercising group and the non exercising group showed statistically significant difference(p<.05). 2) Trunk flexion, vertical jump, sit-up, and 1200m running in 5 physical fitness variables showed significant difference(p<.01), except for grip strength. As shown above, the middle aged males(40-45), who has exercised regularly, were higher in their physiological function.

Until now, the design method of Pier have had an economic and safe problem. Generally, pier coping with long cantilever was designed as cantilever beam and that with long depth to shear span was applied according to the theory of deep beam. In this study, the finite element method considering crack section has been applied to T-type pier coping for analyzing nonlinear behavior. The crack section was idealized for tension and shear crack and was taken into account the one-fourth model of nonlinear stress-strain behavior. Analysis results were compared and analyzed to the test results of T-type pier coping, and changes and effects of shear behavior were analytically studied following shear reinforcement method and shear reinforcement ratio by the verified model . As the result of analysis which was applied to finite element method considering crack section. the analysis result was similar to the test result, so it was shown that the finite element method considering crack section was resonable. This study indicated that yield strength was increased by web horizontal reinforcement . Besides, as the result of shear reinforcement method, shear reinforcement which was vertically reinforced the expected crack was resonable. As the result of analysis which was of T-type pier coping with different shear reinforcement ratio, in case of same shear span to depth ratio, the yield strength of T-type pier coping with web reinforcement was incresed 29.5% compared to that of T-tyre pier coping without web reinforcement. The increase of vertical reinforcement ratio when the horizontal reinforcement ratio is constant has no effect on the yield strength of T-type pier coping. but, The increase of horizontal reinforcement ratio under the same vertical reinforcement has a little effect on the yield strength of T-type pier coping.
전단구속철근을 배치한 유공강판 전단연결재에 관한 실험적 연구

강․콘크리트 합성구조에서 강재와 콘크리트 사이의 경계면에 효과적인 응력전달과 합성거동을 유도하기 위하여 스터드, 채널, 유공강판 등이 사용된다. 가장 광범위하게 사용하는 전단연결재는 스터드 형식이고, 최근에 들어서는 강판에 구멍을 뚫은 유공강판전단연결재인 Perfobond가 주목을 받고 있다. 본 연구는 강․콘크리트 합성교량에 적용하기 위한 Perfobond형 전단연결재의 연성능력과 전단성능을 향상시킬 목적으로 횡방향 전단구속철근을 배치하고, Push-out 실험을 수행하여 전단내력을 비교하였다. 실험결과, 유공강판 전단연결재에 전단구속철근, 횡방향 관통철근, 단부 지압판 등을 설치함에 따른 수평 저항성능이나 다웰효과 등에 의해 전단내력이 상승하였으며, 또한 최대내력 이후 변형능력이 유지되면서 연성거동 특성을 보였다. In the design of composite structures, shear connectors such as headed stud, channel, perforated plate, etc, are commonly used to transfer longitudinal shear forces across the steel-concrete interface. Many researches have been conducted to improve the characteristics of different types of shear connector. This paper presents the results of 11 push-out tests performed on the new perforated rib connectors with shearing bars embedded in concrete slab under static loads. The results obtained from these tests are as following : 1) The bearing plate welded on both sides of perforated rib plate improves the stiffness and strength. 2) The capacity of perforated connectors is influenced primarily by the transverse reinforcements and shearing bars.
