Use of Iterative Reconstruction and a Small Contrast Volume in Rabbit Kidney CT: Comparison with Conventional Protocol

Purpose: To investigate the quality of rabbit kidney computed tomography (CT) images obtained using a small contrast volume and iterative reconstruction (IR). Materials and Methods: Twenty sedated rabbits were used. Four milliliters of contrast material and the IR technique were used for the study group. In the control group, 6 mL of contrast and the filtered back projection (FBP) technique were used. The image quality was evaluated by two radiologists in consensus. For qualitative image assessment, the sharpness, noise, texture, and streak artifacts were rated. For quantitative analysis, the CT attenuation values, image noise, signal-to-noise ratios (SNR), contrast-to-noise ratios (CNR), and figures of merit (FOM) were calculated. Results: Images obtained from the study group were sharper and contained less noise and fewer streak artifacts (all, p < 0.05) compared to those obtained from the control group. However, the texture of images from the study group was worse (p < 0.05). Although the CT attenuation values were comparable between the study and control groups, the image noise was considerably lower for the study group than that for the corresponding control group (all, p < 0.05). Thus, the SNR, CNR, and FOM were higher in the study group (all, p < 0.05) than in the control group. Conclusion: The use of the IR technique and a small volume of contrast material yielded CT images with better qualities compared to those obtained using the FBP technique and conventional contrast volume in a rabbit model.

본 연구는 공간 디자인 스튜디오Ⅲ 수업에서 진행한 공간 디자인 프로세스 연구로서, 주거 환경에 대한 공간디자인의 기초를 이론적 학습을 바탕으로 기존의 주거와는 차별화된 융합된 주거 공간을 구성하고 융합된 주거 공간에 맞는 디자인 및 공간 프로그램을 완성하는 프로젝트이다. 본 연구는 환경디자인을 위한 기초적 프로젝트에 대한 연구의 과정으로서 크게 두 과정으로 나뉘며, Living에 대한 전반적인 이해를 통해 주거에 대한 이해를 높이고 다른 영역과 융합된 주거공간에 대한 이해를 통해 WELLNESS HOTEL에 대해 고찰하였으며 이에 적합한TITLE 선정 및 SITE를 선정하였다. 또한 이에 맞는 HOTEL의 공간 구성과 프로그램 구성을 통하여 전체적인 컨셉을 발전시켰으며 공간의 기능과 색, 재질 등을 렌더링에 적용시켜 구현하여 우리가 기획한 HOTEL을 완성하였다. 끝으로 본 연구는 기존의 주거 공간 디자인과는 차별화 된 융합된 주거공간에 주목하여 공간을 구성한 것으로 주거를 중심으로 융합할 하나의 테마를 선정한 뒤 그에 맞는 프로그램과 디자인을 적용하였다는 점에 있어서 향후 공간 디자인 프로세스 개발에 있어 기초 자료로 활용될 것으로 기대한다.

As the 4th Industrial Revolution enters the era, AI culture is being introduced as new media are generally applied to the economy, society, and culture. In line with this trend, new media art that combines digital media is also expressed in the fields of art, design, and architecture, and is also applied in interior spaces. The purpose of this study is to analyze the exhibition space and the commercial space as a practical example of how the new expression of new media is expressed in the interior space and expands physically. Through case analysis, we identified the variable acceptance of space and time in interior design. And this study reinterprets the variability of ceiling, floor, and wall in terms of expansion of new media space. It is hoped that the case of applying new media to real life space will be studied continuously in the future.

해금산조 연구 분야의 발전 방안 - 연구 현황 분석을 바탕으로

This paper is an analysis of haegeum sanjo studies from 1995 to the present, and proposes future directions for researchers. Haegeum sanjo studies can be classified into four categories. The first is the musical elements of the haegeum sanjo; the second is a comparative study of various haegeum sanjo; the third is on its origins, and evolution; the last is on the applications of the haegeum sanjo. I propose further research in the following three directions. First, the study of the musical elements of haegeum sanjo needs to be expanded. Secondly, more attention is needed around teaching methods for professional players. Lastly, the use of the traditional elements of haegeum sanjo to create a diverse range of contemporary creative musical applications needs further study. 본 연구는 1995년 이후 진행된 해금산조 연구의 현황을 분석하고 이를 바탕으로 향후 해금산조 관련 연구의 방향을 제안하기 위해 진행되었다. 8편의 학술지논문과 70편의 석·박사학위논문 등 총 78편에 대한 연구 내용을 살펴본 결과 해금산조 관련 연구는 첫째 음악적 요소의 연구, 둘째 비교 연구, 셋째 전승 및 변천 연구, 마지막으로 활용 연구 등의 4가지 분야에서 진행되어 왔음을 알 수 있다. 분석을 바탕으로 본 연구자는 향후 해금산조 연구의 진행 방향을 제안하고자 한다. 첫째, 해금산조의 음악요소·비교 분석의 결과와 대안을 통해 현대의 산조로 재해석해보는 확장된 산조 연구가 진행되어야 할 것이다. 둘째, 연주자들을 위한 체계적인 해금산조 연주 교수법에 관한 연구가 이루어져야 할 것이다. 셋째, 해금산조의 전통적 요소를 복합적으로 활용해 현대의 다양한 창작음악 작품으로 재탄생시키는 연구가 더 활발히 이루어져야 할 것이다. 이러한 연구들이 진행되는 것을 통해 미래의 해금산조 음악이 나아가야 할 방향이 제시될 수 있기를 기대하는 바이다.

“Who will Dive into the Wreck?”: (R)enunciation of the Otherized Voice inJ. M. Coetzee’s Foe

While the indelible imprints of race and color mark Coetzee as the undeniable oppressor, his personal convictions firmly place him alongside the oppressed. His writing thus carries the cross of white conscience that will constantly haunt the ethical project of representing and thereby giving voice to those whose presence has been effaced from the pages of history. This project is inevitably laden with complications, for herein it is through the white man’s pen that the black man’s lost voice is to be recuperated. Against the backdrop of such a complication, I aim to construe the ways by which Coetzee realizes in Foe a place of ethical communication-in-representation between the white writer and the black other. Drawing on the common valency of Spivak’s conceptualization of darstellung and Coetzee’s positioning of the middle voice, I claim that the metafictional structure of the narrative which plays on a diegetic self-reflection enables an autocritique of a white author who writes in the literary legacy of Daniel Defoe. This paper responds to Susan’s question “who will dive into the wreck?” in order to retrieve the story Friday’s lost tongue withholds, seeking an alternative locus of the differend as a productive place between renunciating and enunciating the silenced voice. By renunciating the privileged position of the self as practicer of vertertung, we may open up grounds for listening to the enunciation of the other’s own (silenced) voice.

Percutaneous N-Butyl Cyanoacrylate Embolization of a Pancreatic Pseudoaneurysm after Failed Attempts of Transcatheter Embolization

One common complication after major pancreatic surgery is bleeding. Herein we describe a case of pancreatic pseudoaneurysm which developed after pylorous preserving pancreaticoduodenectomy for common bile duct cancer. Three attempts of transcatheter embolization failed since feeders to the pseudoaneurysm had unfavorable anatomy. Direct percutaneous N-butyl cyanoacrylate injection was performed under fluoroscopy-guidance and the pseudoaneurysm was successfully treated. Percutaneous fluoroscopy-guided direct N-butyl cyanoacrylate injection may be a useful alternative when selective transcatheter embolization fails or is technically challenging.

필립스탁 실내공간에 나타나는 초현실주의적 표현에 관한 연구

This researcher could feel both visual impact and playful sensibility by Irregularity and expression characteristic grasped in Philippe Starck’s commercial space. This research tried to analyze Philippe Starck’s work from surrealism viewpoint. The thing recognized through Philippe Starck’s work is not reasonable and sensible way but impromptu and intuitive way in interior space expression. He gave a meaning and created a new value through impromptu and intuitive way. Also, Philippe Starck's interior work applying surrealism viewpoint can be divided by greatly two. First, it is distortion and collision, post fixedform, border ambiguity, and functional uncertainty in formal aspect. Second, it gave a big effect on interior space expression in semantic aspect through unfamiliar space, optical illusion effect, experimental space, and fantastic space. Hereafter, through that surrealistic tendency is embodied smoothly to various method in formal and semantic aspect in interior space, I expect that more lively research is continued.

키네틱적 표현을 연출한 호텔레스토랑의 인테리어 사례 연구 - 중국 웨스틴 호텔레스토랑을 중심으로 -

연구배경 현대 호텔레스토랑은 고객의 욕구에 부응하여 다양한 인테리어 연출을 모색하고 있다. 최근 중국 내체인-브랜드 호텔레스토랑은 식사 제공을 넘어서 고객에게 다양한 체험과 경험을 전달하는 데 주력하고 있다. 이러한 호텔레스토랑 인테리어 공간에 예술적 표현 요소가 접목하여 감성적, 예술적 공간으로 표현된다면 호텔레스토랑을 이용하는 고객의 삶의 질 향상과 인테리어의 가치 또한 상승할 것이라는 예견 하에 연구를 하고자 한다. 연구방법 연구방법은 키네틱아트에 대한 전반적인 이해와 키네틱아티스트 작품을 움직임과 심리적 움직임으로 분류하여 살펴보았다. 본 연구를 위해 사례 분석에 적용 될 분석 틀은 선행연구 박정화, 김주연(2018)의 틀을 토대로 인테리어키네틱아트의 연출특성과 구성요소를 본 연구의 방향에 맞게 정리하였다. 연구결과 중국 내 체인-브랜드 호텔레스토랑 4곳인 포하, 닝보, 난징, 시안을 선정기준에 의하여 선정한 다음 분석 틀에 적용하여 분석한 결과 키네틱적 표현 구성 방식과 표현특성이 키네틱아티스트의 작품과의 유사한 점이 많으며 키네틱적 표현 특성이 호텔레스토랑의 인테리어에 활용되고 있는 점을 파악하였다. 결론 호텔레스토랑에서 인테리어 연출로 키네틱적 구성 방식과 키네틱아트의 특성이 활용되고 있음을 파악하였다. 따라서 인테리어와 키네틱아트의 예술 접목을 통해 쾌적하고 감성적, 예술적 인테리어 공간을 고객에게 전달함과 상승된 인테리어의 가치를 추구하기 위해서는 지속적인 실험적 모색이 필요할 것이다. Background Modern Restaurant seeks to produce a variety of interiors in response to customer needs. Recently, the chain brand hotel restaurant in China is focusing on delivering various experiences and experiences to customers beyond serving meals. If an artistic expression element is combined with such a hotel restaurant interior space to express an emotional and artistic space, Increasing the quality of life and the value of the interior of customers using hotel restaurants will also increase. Methods This study examined the general understanding of kinetic arts and the works of kinetic artists into movements and psychological movements. The analysis framework to be applied to case analysis for this study is based on the frameworks of the researcher Park Jung-hwa and Kim Ju-yeon(2018). Result Four chain-brand hotel restaurants in China, Poha, Ningbo, Nanjing, and Xian, were selected according to the selection criteria and then analyzed in the framework of analysis. I found out that Kinetic expression composition and expression characteristics are similar to the works of kinetic artists and that kinetic expression characteristics are utilized in the interior of the hotel restaurant. Conclusion It has been noted that the kinetic construction method and the characteristics of kinetic art are being utilized by the interior design in hotel restaurant. Therefore, in order to pursue the value of the elevated interior by delivering pleasant, emotional and artistic interior space to customers through the art grafting of interior and kinetic art, continuous experimental search will be needed.
