큐브선택과 변환행렬을 이용한 이단계 리드뮬러회로의 설계

In this paper, an effective method for the minimization of two-level Reed-muller circuits using cube selection and transform matrices is presented. In contrast to the previous methods which use Xlinking operations to join two cubes for minimization, the cube selection method tries to select cubes at a time until they cover the ON-set of the given function. This method works for most benchmark circuits, but for parity-type functions it shows poor performance. To solve this problem, spectral methods which use transform matrices are employed. Given function is transformed into cube-type functions by transform matrices and applied to the cube selection method. Experimental results shows better performance in many cases including parity-type functions compared to previous results.

In mobile computing environment, we must consider the narrow bandwidth of wireless networks because mobile users can access databases through wireless networks. To use the narrow bandwidth of wireless networks efficiently, a mobile host caches the data that are frequently accessed and a mobile transaction uses the cached data. The cached data must be consistent with the database in a MSS for serializable execution of mobile transactions. To retain cache consistency, mobile users use invalidation messages broadcasted from a MSS to mobile hosts. But, the cached data can be inconsistent with the data in a MSS due to the host mobility and the communication disconnection from it. In mobile computing environment, most methods for maintaining cache consistency synchronize the time point at which all MSSs broadcast invalid messages. But, synchronizing the broadcasting time is very complicated and difficult, and the MSS doing the task can be overloaded. This is a factor destroying the independency of fixed host, one of the principal goals of distributed environment. In this paper, SUTSAB method, whitch is the new method for serializable execution of mobile transactions in asynchronous broadcasting mobile computing environments, are proposed. The asynchronous broadcasting does not require that all MSSs broadcast invalidation messages at the same time. Thus, these methods can solve the problem of synchronous broadcasting. In this environments, when the mobile host moves another cell, we examine all conditions violating the serializable execution of mobile transactions and propose the method for serializable execution of mobile transactions. The SUTSAB method can apply to the mobile computing environments of synchronous broadcasting, reduce the communication overload caused by synchronizing the broadcasting time of invalidation messages in traditional methods, and can eliminate one of the factors interfering the independency of fixed hosts.

The WWW is available in the multimedia information system, but it is not suitable to develope the database services system with lots of data On the other hand, A traditional database systems have a good performance on the management of a large scale of database and the developement tools of application, but it is not fit to develope a large scale of service system because of not being a form management and standard. Therefore, a large scale multimedia system is necessary to incorporate the technique of WWW and database system. The implementation of database path is possible to be extended in sever and in client. The method that a server extend the system using a CGI is easy to implement and expand but drop a performance because of process creation and data duplication between processes.

In this paper, We described the logic synthesis in Factor which is different from the preceding logic synthesis tools-MIS[4], SOCRATES[10], ESPRESSO[11]. It described the new type of circuit synthesis that decompose the input variables in the given circuit. It has the high performance in the purpose of the logic synthesis-the minimization of design size, the decreasing of time delay, the maximization of faulty detection and so on-. Therefore we study the method of logic synthesis and identified and improved the problems in FACTOR.

In mobile computing environments, to efficiently use the narrow bandwidth of wireless networks a mobile host caches the data that are frequently accessed. But, because the cached data can be inconsistent with the data in a server due to the host mobility and the disconnection from a server, the usefullness of cached data may be losted. The traditional methods emphasize on the cache consistency and assume that broadcasting times are synchronized at all mobile support stations. In this paper, we propose a strategy to maintain cache consistency, which resolves the problems that be caused by the migration of mobile host. The proposed strategy has asynchronous broadcasting time and reduces the communication overhead caused by the synchronization. Also, by preventing the unnecessary messages transmitting from the mobile support station to a mobile host, this strategy can reduce the communication cost and use the narrow bandwidth of wireless networks efficiently.

SOME PROPERTIES OF THE VALUATION RING

본 논문에서는 Valuation ring에 대한 몇가지 성질들을 알아보고, 이를 토대로Valuation ring으로 부터 Valuation을 생성하여 Valuation과 Valuation ring과의 관계를 논하였으며, place로부터 Valuation ring을 생성하고 Valuation ring으로부터 place를 생성하여 Valuation ring과 place와의 일대일 대응관계에 대하여 고찰하였다.
