This presents an experimental Study on characteristics of refrigeration system using CO₂ as secondary fluid. As a results, capacity of evaporator is 2.054kW, COP is 1.34 capacity of heat exchanger is 2.224kW, efficiency of secondary system is 92%, each temperature in the showcase are 7.6℃±0.9 from the inside and 7.2℃±0.2 at the top, 6.8℃±0.1 at the middle, and 8.3℃±0.2 at the bottom, as charging of R-404a is 3.702kg and CO₂ is 2.5kg.

This study was conducted for factor development affecting on the drying Characteristics of Subject at filter plate dryer. This is a study on what factors affect largely to increase drying efficiency versus power consumption at filter press dryer. The results are as follows. When membrane pressure is used, dewatering weight and air compressor power were increased with increasing of air blowing pressure. When the air blowing time is 250 seconds, Each of dewatering weights are 3.73kg, 3.59kg and 2.68kg as air blowing pressures are 5bar, 3bar and 0bar. And at that time, each of air compressor powers are 1.80kWh, 1.22kWh and 0.38kWh.. Assuming a target quantity of dewatering weight is 3.5 kg, we can knew the most effective drying condition in terms of energy efficiency is to use filter press of which air blowing pressure is 5bar and make use of membrane pressure at the same time. And in this case, efficiency value is about 5.3kg/kWh.
R134a를 사용하는 핫 스탬핑 금형냉각시스템의 냉각성능에 관한 실험적 연구

Hot stamping is a method in which a steel material heated at a high temperature of 950 °C is put into a mold and simultaneously reshaped and cooled, resulting in an increase in the strength of the steel material. Since the hot stamping process allows manufacturing of lightweight and high-strength steel, it is mainly used in automobiles where fuel efficiency and safety of the drivers are major concerns. In the existing hot stamping mold cooling system, water is used as a refrigerant and it cools the system using sensible heat. When the cooling method varies from using sensible heat to latent heat, the quality of the product can be improved because the cooling performance can be enhanced and the temperature deviation of the mold surface can be reduced. In this study, by using R134a as the working fluid in the hot stamping mold cooling system, the improvement of the cooling performance was confirmed by comparing with the conventional cooling method using sensible heat. Experimental results showed that cooling performance at the refrigerant flow rate of 50 kg h<SUP>-1</SUP> was 0.65 kW when using water, and 1.21 kW when using R134a. When the flow rate of the refrigerant at the mold inlet was 100 kg h<SUP>-1</SUP>, the cooling performance was 0.88 kW when water was used and 1.25 kW when R134a was used.

AAV (Ambient air vaporizer) is a LNG (Liquified natural gas) vaporizer using air as a heat exchange medium. AAV has advantages of low operating cost and eco-friendly operation. But, it has also many problems. One of the major problems is that frost deposition, which has negative effects on AAV’s efficiency, is inevitable because of LNG’s cryogenic temperature of –161.5 ℃. Therefore, the studies of the frost deposition have been actively conducted to improve the AAV performance. This study presents an experiment-based analytical solution and CFD-based numerical simulation to analyze frost thickness under cryogenic conditions. Fin height is 109.5 ㎜ and fin number is 8. A VOF multi-phase transient model is applied in the frost simulation. Finally, the frost thickness of the simulation model is validated by the experimental results.

A battery heating replicator has been widely used in research of battery thermal management system because it has fewer restrictions than using a real battery. However, there is a problem in that the conventional heating replicator does not show the characteristics of a real battery. In this study, for the study of the battery thermal management system, an improved battery heating replicator was developed. The improved heating replicator reflects the thermal characteristics of a real battery. The thermal characteristics of a battery reflected in the study are as follows: anisotropic thermal conductivity, uneven heat generation according to location, and heat generation change over time. By reflecting these characteristics, it was able to derive a result similar to that of a real battery. Not only the average temperature but also hot spots and temperature distribution were obtained. Thus, advanced optimization is possible by proceeding with the battery thermal management system using the improved heating replicator.
내장형 XML 데이타베이스를 위한 타입 처리기의 설계 및 구현

문서를 표현하는 여러 가지 기법 중에서 XML(eXtensible Markup Language)은 확장성과 범용성 때문에 데이타의 교환과 표현에 대한 표준으로 자리잡고 있다. 이에 XML로 데이타를 저장하기 위한 다양한 방법들이 제시되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 관계형 데이타베이스에 XML 데이타를 저장하기 위해 XML 데이타의 타입을 관계형 데이타베이스의 타입으로 매칭해 주는 서브시스템인 타입 처리기를 구현한다. 타입 처리기에서는 eXDM이 내장형 시스템이라는 제한사항을 고려하고, XQuery 형태의 질의문을 지원하기 위해 XML-스키마를 변형한 형태의 XML 타입 정의 문서를 이용한다.
