Background and Objectives: Although several multicenter registries have evaluated percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) procedures in Korea, those databases have been limited by non-standardized data collection and lack of uniform reporting methods. We aimed to collect and report data from a standardized database to analyze PCI procedures throughout the country. Materials and Methods: Both clinical and procedural data, as well as clinical outcomes data during hospital stay, were collected based on case report forms that used a standard set of 54 data elements. This report is based on 2014 Korean PCI registry cohort data. Results: A total of 92 hospitals offered data on 44967 PCI procedures. The median age was 66.0 interquartile range 57.0-74.0 years, and 70.3% were men. Thirty-eight percent of patients presented with acute myocardial infarction and one-third of all PCI procedures were performed in an urgent or emergency setting. Non-invasive stress tests were performed in 13.9% of cases, while coronary computed tomography angiography was used in 13.7% of cases prior to PCI. Radial artery access was used in 56.1% of all PCI procedures. Devices that used PCI included drug-eluting stent, plain old balloon angioplasty, drug-eluting balloon, and bare-metal stent (around 91%, 19%, 6%, and 1% of all procedures, respectively). The incidences of in-hospital death, non-fatal myocardial infarction, and stroke were 2.3%, 1.6%, and 0.2%, respectively. Conclusion: These data may provide an overview of the current PCI practices and in-hospital outcomes in Korea and could be used as a foundation for developing treatment guidelines and nationwide clinical research.

The original M-S model is extended to describe the thermal conductivity of Ge₂Sb₂Te? (GST) materials. The structural parameter of original M-S model, which accounts for all types of energy carrier scatterings such as background, grain boundary, and external surface scatterings within polycrystalline films. is modified to consider the structural feature of GST crystalline states. In a modified M-S model. a thickness-independent disorder parameter (β) is introduced to describe the atomic disorder effects of ternary alloy, and we can find its value to be β = 2.4 from theoretical calculations. The results are compared with available experimental data and show a good agreement between them. In addition, the thermal conductivity of amorphous GST is represented, and the structural basis for the fast change between phases of GST is discussed.

Background and Objectives: Appropriate use criteria (AUC) was developed to improve the quality of percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI). However, these criteria should consider the current practice pattern in the country where they are being applied. Materials and Methods: The algorithm for the Korean PCI practice pattern (KP3) was developed by modifying the United States-derived AUC in expert consensus meetings. KP3 class A was defined as any strategy with evidence from randomized trials that was more conservative for PCI than medical therapy or coronary artery bypass graft (CABG). Class C was defined as any strategy with less evidence from randomized trials and more aggressive for PCI than medical therapy or CABG. Class B was defined as a strategy that was partly class A and partly class C. We applied the KP3 classification system to the Korean PCI registry. Results: The KP3 class A was noted in 67.7% of patients, class B in 28.8%, and class C in 3.5%. The median proportion of class C cases per center was 2.0%. The distribution of KP3 classes varied significantly depending on clinical and angiographic characteristics. The proportion of KP3 class C cases per center was not significantly dependent on PCI volume, but rather on the percentage of ACS cases in each center. Conclusion: We report the current PCI practice pattern by applying the new KP3 classification in a nationwide PCI registry. The results should be interpreted carefully with due regard for the complex relationships between the determining variables and the healthcare system in Korea.
시대성(zeitgeist)에 따른 typography : typography의 미학을 결정짓는 요인들에 대한 연구

There is a German word called zeitgeist and it means the sprit of time in English. Typographic design is a very useful tool for showing the sprit of time. For this reason, the purpose of this thesis is to investigate the strong relationship between technology and typographic form. In chapter two, I wrote about the fundamental concept of language as a method of human communication, defining what language is and what its components are. In chapter three, the historical development of language, especially in the typographic form, was traced. Chapter four and five treated relationship between new technology and modern typographic design.

Korean military uses 'Tactical information communication network' to exchange information between units. In this study, we developed a media processing board for multi-party voice and video telephony based on open source software. On the other hand, in order to apply open source software for weapon systems and parts that are mounted on weapon systems, appropriate review is required according to the weapon system software development and management manual of the Defense Acquisition Program Administration (DAPA). In this study, the analysis of the requirement items was performed and the appropriate countermeasures were proposed for the open software applied to the media processing board with respect to ‘the guidelines for the application of weapon systems to open source software’, an appendix to the DAPA's manual.

As the gate length of field-effect transistors (FETs) has been scaled down below 50 nm, the characterization of selfheating problems becomes a great challenge. Due to the lack of quantitative measurement technique at nanoscale, the estimation of hot spot behavior in FETs mostly relies on model based on the Boltzmann transport equation (BTE). However, significant inconsistencies are founded in the estimated temperatures of the hot spot due to the different approximations adopted in the BTE models. Herein, we investigate the behavior and temperature of the hot spot by profiling the temperature distribution across the electrically heated nano-heater patterned on the Silicon-On-Insulator with the null point scanning thermal microscopy, which can quantitatively measure the temperature profile with nanoscale resolution. By comparing the experimentally obtained temperature profile with modeled one with BTE, we can provide the standard approximation for the optimized thermal design of nano-electronic devices.
SIP기반의 VoIP망에서 디지털 인증서를 이용한 보이스 피싱 해결방안 연구

최근 사이버 범죄 중 사회 공학적 기법을 이용한 보이스 피싱이 심각한 사회 문제로 대두되고 있다. 특히 인터넷을 통해 유출된 개인 정보를 이용한 금융범죄가 증가함으로 인해 금융당국과 경찰 등의 다각적인 피해 예방 활동과 홍보에도 불구하고 보이스 피싱 수법이 날로 진화되어 피해가 줄지 않는 것이 현실이다. 본 논문에서는 최근 사용자가 증가하고 있는 SIP(Session Initiation Protocol)기반의 VoIP(Voice over Internet Protocol) 망에서 보이스 피싱문제를 해결하기 위해 사례 및 유형을 분석하고 VoIP 서비스가 가지고 있는 취약점이 보이스 피싱에 끼치는 영향을 알아본다. 또한 표준 SIP 기반의 보안 프로토콜을 분석하고 보이스 피싱 해결 방안으로써 디지털 인증서를 이용한 사용자간의 상호 인증 기법을 제안한다. 디지털 인증서는 PKI(Public Key Infrastructure) 기반에서 CA(Certification Authority)에게 발급 되며 VoIP 사용자간에 디지털 인증서를 이용하여 인증하도록 함으로 신뢰할 수 있는 VoIP 통신과 보이스 피싱 으로부터 사용자 보호가 가능하다.
