        Synthesis of novel polymers containing photoacid generator and its application in atomic force microscope lithography

        A photoacid generator (PAG) played an important role in withdrawing an electron in atomic force microcopy (AFM) anodization lithography. In case of the silicon substrate coated by the polymer with higher content of PAG, oxide patterns were fabricated in lower threshold lithographic bias. And the oxide patterns were grown bigger on the PAG polymer coated silicon than on bare silicon. These results indicate that PAG contributes to accept electrons sufficient to grow oxide patterns. The organic resist including PAG will be effective material to improve the lithographic speed of AFM anodization.         비배부에서 발생한 방추세포지방종 1예

        Spindle cell lipoma is a benign, lipomatous tumor arising most frequently in the subcutaneouson the back of the neck and shoulders in males aged in the third through seventh decade of life. However, we encountered a case of an unusual spindle cell lipoma arising in the subcutaneousand skin layer in the dorsum of nose. A total of two reports of spindle cell lipoma have beenfound in the nasal and nasal dorsum regions. To our knowledge, this is the first report of spindlecell lipoma in the nasal dorsum.

        Hydrogen Water: its Effectiveness on Skin Wrinkles through UV-impulse

        From the viewpoint that hydrogen water can restore damaged functions by removing active oxygen that is harmful to the human body, the effect on skin wrinkles was investigated and analyzed through additional research.This study aims to examine into the applicability of hydrogen water to the human body, the safety of drinking Distilled Water (DW), Hydrogen Water (HW), Electrolyzed Hydrogen Water( EHW), Oxinium Ion Water (OIW), and the improvement effect on wrinkles due to photoaging. For the research purpose, a preclinical study was conducted using hairless mice, and the pH and dissolved hydrogen amount were measured at the same time each day, and 200 ml of the hydrogen water was provided to hairless mice for four weeks. First, the hairless mice were divided into two groups: the group irradiated with UV and the control group not irradiated with UV. The group irradiated with UV was subdivided into four groups: physiological saline group, HW group, EHW group, and OIW group. The physiological saline was the vehicle application group (n=5), and the other three groups were treated by oral administration and skin application(group n=5). Oral administration was performed by 6 ccs once a day, and UV treatment was performed by fixing the mice on a tray three times a week for four weeks to measure hydrogen water's stability and wrinkle-improvement effect. By examining the safety of drinking hydrogen water through mortality, weight change, blood biochemical change and inflammation, immune cell comparison, morphological change of internal organs, organ weight change, and histological inspection of the hairless mice, the effect of hydrogen water on the living body was confirmed. Furthermore, the pH change was within the scope of alkalescent, pH 6.52-8.9, and met the standard of drinking hydrogen water, and the contained dissolved hydrogen was over the acceptable standard, 200 ppb=0.2 ppm. As a result of observation, the experimental group administered hydrogen water did not show any death or symptoms of abnormality in behavior and appearance. Also, there was no significant change in the weight and organ weight of the group. No pathological abnormalities were observed in serum and blood cell analysis and liver and kidney tissue analysis. Skin wrinkle formation in the Vehicle (UV) group increased by 78.26% compared to that of the control(no) group, and in the HW group, it decreased by 30.43% compared to that of the Vehicle (UV) group. Skin thickness increased by 30.83% in the Vehicle(UV) group compared to the control(no) group, and in the HW group, it decreased by 25.33% compared to the Vehicle(UV) group. And the thickness of the epidermis of the Vehicle(UV) group increased by 62.13% compared to the control(no) group. The thickness of keratin increased by 57.63% in the Vehicle(UV) group compared to the control(no) group, and in the HW group, it decreased by 40.98% compared to the Vehicle(UV) group. Erythema decreased by 22.82% in the HW group compared to that of the Vehicle(UV) group, the amount of moisture reduction was 15.77% in the HW group compared to that of the Vehicle(UV) group, and the water content increased by 16.53% in the HW group compared to that of the Vehicle(UV) group. The findings of this study show that UV-skin impulse and hydrogen water administration into the body present different results depending on the amount of dissolved hydrogen, skin thickness, epidermis thickness, and keratin thickness. Moreover, its results are significant as it contributes to improving wrinkles and preventing skin aging. Also, it is expected to be used for skin health and beauty to help people's lives.

      • 산소 포화도 측정용 광센서의 기초 연구

        산소 포화도를 비추출방식으로 측정하기 위한 이론을 분석하였다. 두 가지의 이론 즉, 투과광 방식과 반사광 방식을 이용한 기본적인 센서의 설계와 센서의 구동회로를 나타내었다. 또한, 신호 처리 시스템의 전체 블록 다이어그램을 보였고 이 블록 다이어그램의 각 부분을 설계하였다. 그리고, 이에 관한 실험 결과도 나타내었다. 모의실험은 우유와 요오드를 섞은 매체에 여러가지 파장을 이용하여 실험하였다. 적색광 LED에서 가장 큰 반사를 나타내었고, 적색 이하의 파장에서는 거의 반사의 변화가 없었다. 이 실험에서. 적색 파장 LED 에 대한 반사는 요오드의 부피 변화에 따라 변화하였다. 그러므로, 이 파장에서의 반사는 산소 포화도를 얻기 위해 사용될 수 있을 것이다. The theory for measurement of non-invasive oxygen saturation was analyzed. The basic design of sensor and driving curcuit of the sensor were presented using two theories, i.e., transmittance and reflectance method. Overall block diagram of signal processing system was shown and each part of the block diagram was designed. Test results of this are given. The trial experiment was done by mixed medium of milk and iodine for various wave lengths of LED. The largest response of reflectance appeared at red wave length of LED and the response was mere for the wave length below red LED. From the experiment, the reflectance for red LED varies whenever the volume of iodine changes, therefore, the reflectance at this wave length can be utilized to obtain oxygen saturation.

        Recently, negative pressure wound therapy (NPWT) has been reported to be effective for the treatment of cervical infections including retropharyngeal abscess. The 71-year-old woman with retropharyngeal abscess presented in this case showed improvement of infection through longterm NPWT. She continued to complain of swallowing difficulties after recovery. In this case, we performed the transcutaneous injection of botulinum toxin at the cricopharyngeus muscle for the patient who developed dysphagia after treatment for retropharyngeal abscess and observed improvement in swallowing.

        345kv 미금 변전소 외부 계통의 등가축약 기법을 이용한 EMTP 모델링에 관한 연구

        EMTP-RV is the very powerful program to analyze the dynamic operation of the power system. To use this package in the large complex power system, it is very important to simplify the power system to simple equivalent network. In our study the 100 MVA STATCOM is placed at 345kV "MIGUM" which is the one of the 345kV substations of the Korean Electric Power System that is consist of more than 1000-bus. MIGUM substation is connected with 7 separated transmission lines to main Korean Electric power system. We developed a new method to simplify the network except the substation that we want to analysis. The power system outside the 345kV substation is modeled into the equivalent network. The loop network outside the substation can be modeled to simplified Thevenin equivalent network. The proposed method is applied to IEEE-14 Reliability Test System and the results shows the effectiveness of the method.

        세포 흐름 감지 시스템

        Sensor system which can detect a flowing cell is designed and fabricated by semiconductor processing and EDM(Electro-chemical Discharge drilling Method). Two methods are used in this paper 1) optical method which measures the trasmitted light through the cell passage between transmitter and receiver, 2) impedance method which measures impedance change between electrodes, when cell flows in the cell passage. Experimental result using tabaco leaves shows that the output value by optical method is 0.2V to 0.7V, and the output by impedance method is 0.2V to 2V, which is bigger, but it includes an avoidable noises.
