In this paper, we propose an object-oriented design pattern that can be used for modeling sequential process applications. The pattern is based on the notion of organizational systems which considers a production system from a holistic perspective. The pattern integrates the decision making processes of the hierarchical structure of an organization with the control and physical processes that characterize a sequential production industry. It provides the essential object classes that are required in most sequential process applications, such as real-time information systems for manufacturing and sequential process industries.

The elbow joint is one of the most inherently stable articulations of the skeleton. Recurrent posterior dislocation of the elbow is a rare condition. We experienced a case of recurrent posterior dislocation of the elbow due to shallow trochlear notch and chronic radial head dislocation that was treated by transplantation of the biceps tendon to the coronoid process. We report on the case with a literature review. 주관절은 인체에서 가장 안정적인 관절 중 하나이며, 재발성 후방 탈구는 매우 드문 것으로 알려져 있다. 저자들은 얕은활차구와 만성 요골두 탈구를 동반한 주관절의 재발성 후방 탈구 1예를 상완이두근건 이전술로 치료 하였고, 문헌 고찰과 함께 보고하고자 한다.
Anti-inflammatory Activities of Cheongpyehwadam-tang

In oriental medicine, Cheongpyehwadam-tang (CHT) has long been used for the cure of inflammatory diseases in the lung and bronchus such as bronchitis, bronchial asthma, pneumonia and tuberculosis. It's use is currently further extended for the treatment of allergic asthma.To investigate the anti-inflammatory effects of CHT, we investigated the effects of CHT on the lipopolysaccharide (LPS)-induced nitric oxide (NO) and pro-inflammatory cytokines (TNF-α, IL-6, and IL-1β) production, and on the level of inducible nitric oxide synthase (iNOS) and proinflammatory cytokines expression in murine macrophage RAW 264.7 cells. CHT alone did not affect NO or pro-inflammatory cytokines production. In contrast, CHT inhibited LPS-induced NO and proinflammatory cytokines and the levels of LPS-induced iNOS and proinflammatory cytokine mRNA in a dose-dependent manner. CHT also inhibited the nuclear factor-kappa B (NF-κB) activation. Taken together, these results suggested that CHT inhibits the production of NO and pro-inflammatory cytokines in RAW 264.7 cells through blockade of NF- κB activation.

In most organizations the task of component recovery will be an on-going affair. Initially, large parts of an existing application may be considered to be one component, with a single, complex interface. This is the way in which most component wrapping techniques are intended to be used today. However, even taking this potentially provides greater external access to the functionality that application provides. Gradually, as the component is understood in more detail, it may be decomposed into several smaller components, increasing the reusability of each piece. As component-based development approaches mature the task of creating components from existing legacy applications is likely to be a prime target for increasing automated tool support. Here is an excellent source of information on techniques and tools for performing program understanding, and re-engineering of applications. Moving to CBSD will require signification changes in the way an organization builds software. As a result, significant financial, cultural, and emotional barriers will need to be overcome to introduce the techniques in an effective way. It is useful to consider the steps which must be taken to move to CBSD in a systematic way.
다발성 역행성 K 강선을 이용한 중수골 경부 골절의 치료에서 2개의 강선과 3개의 강선 사용군의 비교

Purpose: To compare clinical and radiographic outcomes of between two and three Kirschner wire(K-wire) intramedullary fixation for fractures in the neck of the metacarpal bone. Methods: A single institutional retrospective review identified 28 cases of metacarpal fractures between March 2010 and August 2014. Each of the cases met the inclusion criteria for closed, extra-articular fractures of the neck of the metacarpal bone. The patient groups were divided by the number of K-wire. Outcomes were compared for range of motion of the metacarpophalangeal joint, radiographic parameters, and period until union. Results: The fractures were treated with either 2 Kirschner wire fixation (n=10) or 3 Kirschner wire fixation (n=18). The active range of motion of metacarpophalangeal joint and radiographic result showed no statistically significant difference between the two groups. The mean union period was 5.9 weeks. However, four cases suffered distal head perforation in 2 K-wire fixation group and one case in 3 K-wire fixation group. Conclusion: Multiple retrograde intramedullary Kirschner wire fixation is a good treatment of choice for fractures in the neck of the metacarpal bone. To prevent metacarpal head perforation, it is preferred to use three K-wires than two K-wires. [ J Trauma Inj 2015; 28: 55-59 ]
