In this study, experiments were carried out to investigate the characteristics of grinding and wear process of diamond wheel during grinding ceramic materials. Normal component of grinding resistance was decreasing while increased of spindle speed. The resistance of vitrified bond wheel was less than that of resinoid bond wheel because of imbedded large holes on the surface of cutting edge. Surface roughness was decreasing while of spindle speed. The surface roughness using vitrified bond wheel was less than that of resinoid bond wheel because of small elastic deformation. After continuous grinding of ceramics, cutting edge ratio of resinoid bond wheel decreased. For the case of vitrified bond wheel, cutting edge ration did not change.

There have been many studies on generation equipment and plant piping, but there is no significant study result on the heat transportation pipe. As such, this study established basic theory on the compensated method among buried pipe for regional heating, and further obtained the following results by applying the conditions of AGFW and NCHPP respectively in calculation of friction and maximum installation distance for the buried pipe. Friction coefficient according to the types and physical properties of soil, friction and maximum installation distance were compared to set the application value of friction coefficient according to the location of works. Calculation formula of clay load to be applied for calculation of friction was introduced to the formula of AGFW and the formula of NCHPP that has been used in Nowon district since 1997 to determine the difference and applicability. 120℃ and 95℃ were applied in temperature difference for expansion volume to compare the arm length at the curve pipe so that it can be reflected in the design in the future. Maximum installation distance according to thickness of pipe was compared to present the necessity of unified specification so that same kinds of pipe materials can be used for same kinds of works.
국제표준에 대비한 국내 비자동저울의 품질평가에 관한 연구

As the result of reduction of the barrier of national economy on matters of quality assurance of weighing instruments in recently, it is considering in domestic as well as international matters. Therefore, this study is to analysis and compare with international and national measuring standards on the electric self-indicating scale, to improve the quality of electronic machine by providing a reformation plan on currently problems of domestic manufactured, and to identify to introduce in domestic criteria from international standards. I had compared KS C 1313 to OIML R 76-1 as the performance assessment items, such as metrology properties test, static temperature test, temperature effect testing under the un-load, electronic wave disturbance test, high-temperature and high-humidity stability test and durability test. Therefore, only one company is passed all items of the test according to the international (reference) standards, but it is possible to improve the quality in general if it should be use the load cell and electric components which is stability of temperature change in order to supplementation to the static temperature test and temperature effect testing under the un-load. It is also possible to apply in the domestic with the OIML 76-1 after correcting the design.

In order to investigate the characteristics of diamond wheel grinding of ceramic materials, grinding resistance, surface roughness of ground surface and image of grinding wheel were acquired wing experimental method. Through the experiments, this makes it possible to observe grinding wheel behavior by grinding resistance, surface roughness and cutting edge ratio. In case of Al₂O₃ cutting edge ratio is bigger than that of ZrO₂ and Si₃N₄. That's because Al₂O₃has a characteristic of low fracture toughness and bending stress.

In this study, through the experimental results of grinding ratio, grinding force and surface roughness with the obtained wear amount of diamond wheel and ceramic material during the grinding process, the following conclusions could be found. In the case of Si₃N₄, the wear of diamond wheel is large while the grinding force is stable and the range of change in surface roughness is small. For the case of Al₂O₃ and ZrO₂, while the wear of diamond wheel is getting smaller, the grinding force is increasing but the value of surface roughness is decreasing. For grinding with the vitrified bond wheel, it seems that the self-sharpening can be found for Si₃N₄ and the glazing effect of the cutting edge for Al₂O₃ and ZrO₂.

In computer vision system of modern industry, precise measuring has of dfficulties because of measurement error due to distortion phenomenon. Among the difficulties, the distortion of edge is regraded as a dominent problem, which is caused by the blurred image. The blurred image appears when camera can not discriminate its precise focus. So, it is very important to decide focus of lens and to develop algorithm in order to correct distortion phenomenon. Thus, discrimination criteria obtained by image information of precise focus must be fixed in advance. The gray level histogram of image acquired from blurred edge tends to show a uniform distribution. Bimodal intensity histogram is related with condition of focus, and it is possible to find good condition of focus by using bimodal histogram of entropy.
