We desceribe a case of pulmonary capillary hemangiomatosis in a 52-year-old woman with history of hemoptysis. Pulmonary capillary hemangiomatosis is a locally aggressive benign neoplasm of the lung characterized by the presence of numerous cytologically benign thin walled capillary-sized blood vessel proliferating diffusely through the pulmonary interstitium, in and around pulmonary vessels and airway. Pulmonary capillary hemangiomatosis is characterized by a slow progressive clinical course with sign and symptom of pulmonary hypertension, hemoptysis and right heart failure. The cause of capillary hemangimatosis is as yet unknown. Definitive diagnosis can only be made histologically. Complication may occur in the form of necrosis, shunting, inflammatory process, and local compression or obstruction leading to respiratory failure. We experienced a case of pedunculated capillary hemagioma of the bronchus, and report with review of literatures.
