Many organizations experience that the performance they gained from IT investment is lower than they expected values. As with any investment, executives are concerned with maximizing the performance from their investment in IT. This study focused on the relationship between IT strategy and IT investment to maximize IT performance. A field survey of chief information officer of Korea manufacturing sector was conducted. Complete data for 147 firms was analyzed to determine relationship of the three research constructs. The study shows a positive relationship between IT strategic orientation, IT investment direction, and performance of IT. The research results provide empirical evidence that supports the research hypothesis that closer fit between IT strategies and IT investment directions does lead to increase operational and competitive performance of IT.
최근 지구온난화에 대한 우려가 증가되면서 농업분야에도 저탄소 녹색성장에 대한 필요성이 대두되고 있으며 친환경 유기 농산물에 대한 관심이 높아지고 있다. 본 연구에서는 친환경 유기농업을 위하여 녹비작물로 헤어리베치를 재배하여 이앙 1개월 전에, 트랙터 부착형 진압기로 진압하여 녹비작물을 피복하였다. 피복 직후 물을 관수하여 헤어리베치를 부숙시킨 후 경운작업 없이 이앙할 부분만 경운 동시에 이앙하여 녹비작물 피복 논에서 부분경운효과를 분석하였다. The concern about global warming recently increased as the need for low-carbon, green growth is rising up and the interest in Environment-friendly Agricultural organic products is increasing. In this research, for adapting environment-friendly agriculture, Hairy vetch cultivates as green manure crop and repressed by using a packing roller for covering before 1 month of transplanting. Immediately, water was flooding to decomposed Hairy vetch. After decomposing, Effects of partial tillage were analyzed on green manure crop covering paddy by transplanting and tillage without tillage operations at the same time.
Bronchial injury due to blunt trauma is often associated with other significant injuries; as a result, making a rapid diagnosis can be difficult. Delay of early diagnosis and surgical treatment can result in a fatal course, including persistent pneumothorax, soft tissue emphysema, lung collapse, recurrent infection, or death. Bronchoscopy remains a reliable diagnostic method; however, it is difficult to perform in the emergency department. In some cases, suspicion of emergency physicians, depending on findings observed on computed tomography scan, can be more helpful than bronchoscopy. In this article, we present two cases of bronchial injury after blunt chest trauma; differences in prognosis were dependent on the time taken to make a decision.
The purpose of the current study was to find physiological activities of extracts from peels of cotton ball, leaves and seeds of Gossypium arboreum using ethanol as solvent. A high amount of reducing sugar was found to be present in the leaf and cotton ball peel extracts, viz. 103.94 mg/g and 101.22 mg/g, respectively. The content of total polyphenol and flavonoid compounds was the highest in the leaf extract, i.e. 72.62 mg/g and 34.51 mg/g, respectively. Furthermore, 92% DPPH radical scavenging activity was observed in the leafextract for concentration of 1,000 μg/ mL. In addition, 94.2% ABTS radical scavenging activity, which was the highest, was observed in the leaf extract, followed by 84.78% in the cotton ball peel extract at 1,000 μg/mL. The results of SOD-like activity and xanthine oxidase inhibition activity showed the highest effect of 44.79% and 84.91% for the leaf extract, respectively at concentration 1,000 μg/mL. The highest tyrosinase inhibition effect of 42.50% was found in the cotton ball peel extract, whereas elastase inhibition activity showed the highest effect of 44.14% for the leaf extract at concentration 1,000 μg/mL. These results indicated that the extracts from leaves, cotton ballpeels and seeds of G. arboreumwith ethanol as a solvent have a large amount of polyphenol
We carried out pH stability, chemical inhibition, chemical modification, and pH-dependent kinetic parameter assessments to further characterize protocatechuate 3,4-dioxygenase from Pseudomonas pseudoalcaligenes KF707. Protocatechuate 3,4-dioxygenase was stable in the pH range of 4.5~10.5. L-ascorbate and glutathione were competitive inhibitors with Kis values of 0.17 mM and 0.86 mM, respectively. DL-dithiothreitol was a noncompetitive inhibitor with a Kis value of 1.57 mM and a Kii value of 8.08 mM. Potassium cyanide, p-hydroxybenzoate, and sodium azide showed a noncompetitive inhibition pattern with Kis values of 55.7 mM, 0.22 mM, and 15.64 mM, and Kii values of 94.1 mM, 8.08 mM, and 662.64 mM, respectively. FeCl2 was the best competitive inhibitor with a Kis value of 29 μM. FeCl3, MnCl2, CoCl2, and AlCl3 were also competitive inhibitors with Kis values of 1.21 mM, 0.85 mM, 3.98 mM, and 0.21 mM, respectively. Other metal ions showed noncompetitive inhibition patterns. The pH-dependent kinetic parameter data showed that there may be at least two catalytic groups with pK values of 6.2 and 9.4 and two binding groups with pK values of 5.5 and 9.0. Lysine, cysteine, tyrosine, carboxyl, and histidine were modified by their own specific chemical modifiers, indicating that they are involved in substrate binding and catalysis.

The IT strategy has two dimensions - operational orientation and market orientation. The IT investment has two dimensions - internal systems focused and external systems focused. And IT performance has two sub-factors - operational performance and competitive performance. The study shows a positive relationship between IT strategy, IT investment direction, and performance of IT. And the research results provide empirical evidence that supports the research hypothesis that closer fit between IT strategies and IT investment directions does lead to increase operational and competitive performance of IT. 본 연구는 정보기술에 대한 투자가 증가하고 있는 상황에서 조직마다 정보기술의 성과가 다르게 나타나는 것은 정보기술이 추구하는 전략적 목표와 정보기술의 투자가 진행되는 상황이 다른 것에 근본적인 원인이 있다고 인식하였다. 이러한 사실을 규명하기 위해 먼저 정보기술전략, 정보기술투자방향, 정보기술성과라는 3가지 연구개념 간의 관련성을 분석하였다. 그리고 실제 상황에서는 정보기술의 전략적 목표와 정보기술투자의 방향이 일치하지 않을 수 있는데, 이 경우 일치하는 상황에서의 정보기술성과와 어떤 차이가 있는지를 추가적으로 분석하였다. 실증적 분석을 위해 산업유형, 제품특성, 조직문화, 시장 환경 등이 유사한 제조업에 소속된 기업을 표본 집단으로 선택하였다. 2003년 10월 20일부터 11월 16일까지의 조사기간 동안 우편 설문조사와 방문조사를 통해 수집된 설문지 중 147건의 자료가 최종적인 통계적 분석에 사용되었다. 연구 결과 정보기술전략에 따라 정보기술투자방향이 달라지는데, 전략이 내부적 차원의 전략적 목표에 초점을 두고 있으면 정보기술투자가 운영업무 중심으로 집중되고 성과 역시 내부 운영성과 중심으로 나타나는 반면, 전략이 경쟁우위 강화에 초점을 두고 있으면 정보기술투자가 시장 세력과의 관계를 강화할 수 있는 방향으로 집중되고 그 결과 전략적인 성과가 상대적으로 높게 나타났다. 그리고 보다 중요한 것은 정보기술전략과 정보기술투자의 방향이 일치된 경우가 일치되지 않은 경우보다 정보기술의 성과가 높게 나타났다.
