『돼지새끼들의 울음』과 『강릉 가는 옛길』 에 나타난 악의 양상

The purpose of this paper is to explore the aspects of an evil represented by teachers’ power in school through “The Crying of Young Pigs” written by Chun, Sang-kook and “Old Road to Kang-neung” written by Lee, Soon-won. The teachers try to repress and control students like ruler who have totalitarian thought from the point of social mechanism. The aspects of an evil are suggested as the form of disguised power skillfully in these two works. Two writers reveal that the evil represented by teachers is transformed into the structural evil of society in their works. They also show the image of violence, repression, and the evil by suggesting the hypocrite teachers in their novels. According to Foucault’s genealogy, the invisible evil like physical violence gradually is transformed into invisible form which is internalized in the mind. The students experience their inner growth as they face the aspects of an evil in these two works and get insights which help them to jump new phases in their life.

The purpose of this paper was to examine the effects of nostalgia which make readers feel positive thinking by analyzing “Old Road to Kang-neaung.” As the nostalgic themes are emerging as a new trend, the nostalgic marketing can be applied to various areas. The paper analyzed meaning of this work, and presented the specifications and significance of Lee, Sun-won``s literature as nostalgic phenomenon. The emotional components composed of nostalgia in this work are as follows: warmth, wound, frustration, anger, resistance, and reconciliation. Although the narrator suffers from the memories of his youth even when he becomes an adult, he overcomes his wound in his younger years by transferring his memories to the nostalgia. From this point of view, this kind of nostalgic novel can have a positive effect on the mental growth of visitors who are in search of self-identity. Also this work leads visitors to experience on essential human life with a more comprehensive view by encouraging them to reflect upon their surroundings. The new form of tourism strategy is necessary to broaden people`s awareness. One of the means is utilizing literary tourism for increasing desire of tourism. The concept of space through literature is a very important key to re-invigorate nostalgia. Therefore, this paper is more meaningful in the sense that it uses ``literature`` for drawing effective nostalgia tourism. To develop Kang-neung area, the paper introduced the tour course linking the literary space of this work.

보강된 평판구조물의 음향방사특성에 관한 실험적 고찰

It is very important to understand the vibration and noise characteristics of a structure to developed quiet machines and lessen their noise. In this paper, the vibration and sound radiation characteristics of a simple and a bar-stiffened plate have been investigated using numerical and experimental techniques. In numerical process, FEM analysis has been performed for the vibration level ; the time-space squared and averaged velocity and BEM analysis for sound radiation parameters ; sound power and radiation efficiency. In experimental process, FFT signal processing method has been used. While a power from an exiciter is applied to the structure by using a point contact, sound intensity and vibration level has been measured. Based on these two data, the radiation efficiency has been calculated. Results show that the radiation efficiency for the stiffened structure increases compared to the simple plate, due to the extra edges provided by the stiffener.

The purpose of this paper is to examine how characters realize their true selves by crossing the boundaries in reality. Wilde`s aestheticism plays a critical role in the characters of The Importance of Being Earnest who reveal their desire and self-realization. Wilde suggests that what is important in life is to establish a true self through The Importance of Being Earnest. Wilde completes an inversion of what has been regarded significant in the Victorian period. This play keeps on subverting the established Victorian values including the significance of "being earnest" and "marriage" as well as various literary conventions-familiar mechanisms. Many values are satirized through the multiple parodies in this play. Ernest plays as important role to Jack and Algernon as to Gwendolen and Cecily. It is important to focus on the relationship of Jack-Ernest and Algernon-Bunbury. Before their relationship is explored, it is necessary to define what Ernest is to Jack and Algernon. The systems of Ernest and Bunburying not only enable Jack and Algernon to free from any social pressure but also have an opportunity to identify their true-selves by crossing the boundaries freely. Through the continuous interactions of crossing boundaries, fixed and limited individual boundaries can be expanded upon and developed as an operating greater understanding of self. 영화 <크로싱>을 통한 관광상품 개발 고찰 : 강원도 영월군 영화촬영지를 중심으로

목적 본 연구의 목적은 미셸 푸코의 『감시와 처벌』에서 제시되는 권력의 작동방식을 북한 권력 체제의 감시및 통제 작동 방식을북한 권력 체제의 감시 및 통제 작동 양상과 연계하여 북한의 체제를 이해하는 가운데, 영화 <크로싱>의 촬영지를 활용하면서 북한의 실상을 파악할 수 있는 관광상품의 활용 가능성을 논의하는 것이다. 방법 본 연구는 영화 <크로싱>을 통해서 북한 인민들의 실상, 인권 문제에 관한 관광객들의 관심 유도, 효과적인 체험 관광 프로그램 개발, 그리고 영상 이미지 콘텐츠의 필요성을 논의하고자 한다. 결과 영화 <크로싱>을 활용한 촬영지에 대한 관광 개발은 북한의 열악한 실상을 드러내면서 북한 주민들에 대한 국제사회의 관심과 인권의 문제를 부각시킬 수 있는 토대이다. 영화 <크로싱>의 촬영 세트장은 영상 콘텐츠 관광을 통한 체험, 교육, 그리고 쇼핑 관광으로 연계시킬 수 있다. 결론 영화 <크로싱>의 촬영지를 활용한 관광상품을 통해서 관광객들은 좀 더 북한의 실상을 파악하고, 남북통일의 필요성을 인식할 수 있는 계기를 마련할 수 있을 것이다. Purpose The purpose of this study is to understand North Korean system by linking the operation of power presented in Michel Foucault’s “Surveiller et punir” with the monitoring and control operation of the North Korean power system and is to discuss the possibility of using the filming location of Film <Crossing> as tourism product to understand the rality of North Korea. Methods Through the film <Crossing>, this study intends to discuss the reality of North Korean people, inducing tourists interest in human rights issues, developing effective experiential tourism programs, and the necessity of video image content. Results Tourism development for filming locations using the film <Crossing> is a foundation that can highlight the international community s interest in North Koreans and human rights issues while revealing the poor reality of North Korea. The filming set of Film <Crossing> can be linked to experience, education, and shopping tourism through video content tourism. Conclusion Through tourism products using the filming locations of the film <Crossing>, tourists will be able to better understand the reality of North Korea and provide an opportunity to recognize the need for North-South unification.

주이상스 이론 및 아우라의 측면에서 본 문화예술 고찰

Purpose - The purpose of this study is to examine specific examples of popular cultural tourism products based on the concept of 'cultural theory' and Lacan's 'jouissance' through examples of cultural festivals led by the public as a subject of cultural consumption. Design, data, and methodology - Everyone has a desire to pursue culture and tourism outside of everyday life. Jacques Lacan describes these inner desires and pleasures of human beings with the concept of ‘jouissance.’ Festivals in which Lacan's concept of 'jouissance' is well revealed include 'Day of the Dead' in Mexico and 'Halloween Day', a traditional Irish festival. A specific example of the enjoyment of popular culture consumption is the Jarasum Jazz Festival. Result - Through the'Day of the Dead' and'Halloween Day', tourists break the taboo of death and experience extreme pleasure while enjoying the joy of death. And 'Jarasum Jazz Festival' shows the concreteness of popular culture tourism while satisfying the inner desires of tourists through musical consensus. Conclusions - Festivals that have existed for a long time have come with changes in their essential characteristics, and festivals in modern society are becoming events that embody popular culture consumption. If the public's desire for cultural consumption is specifically reproduced, the possibility of the development of the festival is very high. The implication of this study is that cultural theory and cultural consumption issues are linked with actual festivals. On the other hand, the limitation of this study is that various festivals cannot be presented, and discussion is being conducted only in a few festivals.

관광가이드 해설시나리오의 엔터테인먼트 효과 고찰 - ‘빨간바지투어’ 가이드 사례를 중심으로 -

본 연구의 목적은 전통적인 투어가이드의 활동 방식을 넘어서 새로운 형태의 공연 예술, 놀이 이벤트, 그리고 엔터테인먼트의 요소가 결합된 ‘RED PANTS Tour’의 효과적인 시나리오 전략에 대해서 논의를 수행하는 것이다. 대부분의 관광객들은 ‘빨간바지투어’에 대한 후기 댓글에서 긍정적인 태도와 함께 만족감을 드러내고 있다. 이것은 ‘빨간바지투어’가 다양한 엔터테인먼트 요소들과 이벤트를 통해서 관광객들의 문화유희 욕구를 충족시켜 주고 있음을 의미한다. 이러한 다양한 이벤트는 관광객들에게 재미를 제공하는 것만 아니라, 몰입도를 높여주면서 관광지에 대한 만족감이 확장될 수 있다. ‘RED PANTS Tour’ 관광객들이 갖는 소비 특성은 첫째, 개성, 적극성, 그리고 다양성을 지향한다. 둘째, ‘빨간바지투어’ 관광객들은 투어를 통한 삶의 즐거움과 재미 획득에 소비 가치를 둔다. 셋째, ‘빨간바지투어’ 관광객들은 다양한 오락적 요소를 통해서 투어가이드 자체를 하나의 공연문화 상품으로 인식한다. 다시 말해서, ‘빨간바지투어’ 가이드가 관광객을 사로잡을 수 있는 비결은 가이드 과정 자체를 공연 현장과 같은 분위기 전환이나 관광객과의 친밀감이 조화를 이루면서 상호간의 공감이 이루어지기 때문이다. 본 연구의 시사점은 투어가이드의 대중적 재미와 쌍방향소통 방식이 관광객들에게 긍정적으로 작용하는 방식을 분석하고 있다는 점이다. 반면에 본 연구의 한계점은 ‘RED PANTS Tour’에 한정하여 새로운 방식의 투어가이드 진행에 대한 논의를 전개한다는 점이다. The purpose of this study is to discuss the effective scenario strategy of the ‘Red Pants Tour’, which combines elements of a new type of performing arts, play events, and entertainment beyond the traditional tour guide’s activity method. Most of the tourists expressing satisfaction with a positive attitude in the review comments on the ‘RED PANTS Tour.’ This means that the ‘RED PANTS Tour’ satisfies tourists’ needs for cultural entertainment through various entertainment elements and events. These various events not only provide fun to tourists, but can also increase immersion and expand satisfaction with tourist destinations. The consumption characteristics of ‘RED PANTS Tour’ tourists are, first, oriented toward individuality, activeness, and diversity. Second, ‘Red Pants Tour’ tourists place consumption value on the enjoyment and fun of life through the tour. Third, ‘Red Pants Tour’ tourists perceive the tour guide itself as a performance culture product through various entertainment elements. In other words, the secret that the ‘RED PANTS Tour’ guide can captivate tourists is that mutual sympathy is achieved by changing the guide process itself to the same atmosphere as the performance site or by harmonizing intimacy with tourists. The implication of this study is that it analyzes the way tour guides’ popular fun and interactive communication methods have a positive effect on tourists. On the other hand, the limitation of this study is that it is limited to the ‘Red Pants Tour’ and discusses a new type of tour guide.

국제 영화제를 활용한 남북 예술인 교류 및 관광 촉진 방안 고찰 : 북한 영화 <우리집 이야기>를 중심으로

목적: 본 연구의 목적은 북한 영화 <우리집 이야기>와 같은 북한 영화가 부천 국제 영화제에서 상영을 계기로 북한의 생활상 파악을 통해서 북한과 지속적 교류에 대한 토대를 마련할 수 있는 다양한 방안의 모색이다. 방법: 본 연구는 영화를 매개로 남북한 교류확대를 통한 북한 관광지 개발 목적을 수행하기 위해서 1차적으로 선행연구와 문헌고찰을 활용하였다. 그리고 본 연구는 2차적으로 논의의 신뢰성을 확보하기 위한 방안으로서 북한학 관련 교수 2명, 관광학 관련 교수 2명, 그리고 강화도 및 김포 지역에서 활동하는 문화관광 가이드 3명을 확보하여 3회에 걸친 온라인 회의를 진행하였다. 결과: 국제영화제를 매개로 한 남북한 예술 문화 교류는 상호 협력의 기회를 촉진할 수 있는 수단이 될 수 있다. 결론: 이념을 초월한 남북한 영화 예술인들의 적극적인 상호교류를 이루기 위해서는 남북한 공동의 국제 영화제, 남북 화합의 상징인 ‘아리랑’을 주제로 한 테마파크 복합문화공간과 컨벤션센터의 조성이 요구된다. Purpose: The purpose of this study is to find various ways to lay the foundation for continuous exchange with North Korea by understanding the daily life of North Korea with North Korean films such as <My House Story> being screened at the Bucheon International Film Festival. Methods: This study primarily utilizes prior research and literature review in order to achieve the purpose of developing tourist destinations in North Korea through the expansion of North and South Korean exchanges through films. And as a second way to secure the credibility of the discussion, this study secured 2 professors related to North Korean studies, 2 professors related to tourism, and 3 cultural tourism guides active in Ganghwa Island and Gimpo city and held three online meetings. Results: Inter-Korean art and culture exchanges through international film festivals can be a means of facilitating opportunities for mutual cooperation. Conclusion: In order to achieve active mutual exchange between North and South Korean film artists that transcend ideology, it is necessary to create a theme park complex cultural space and convention center with the theme of ‘Arirang,’ a symbol of inter-Korean harmony, and a joint international film festival between South and North Korea.

『뉴로맨서』에 나타난 기술공포주의

본 연구의 목적은 윌리엄 깁슨(William Gibson)의 『뉴로맨서』(Neuromancer)를 분석함으로써 현대 사회에서 인간과 기술 사이의 문제점을 논의하고 이해하고자 한 것이다. 사이버 펑크는 1980년대 기술 폭발의 산물이다. 『뉴로맨서』는 사이버 펑크 소설이며, 포스트모더니즘과 SF 장르를 포함하고 있다. 보통 영화에서 대부분의 공상과학 소설들은 인간과 기술 사이의 충돌과 갈등에 주로 초점을 맞추었고, 기술의 통제를 받으면서 인간의 나약함을 제시했다. 일반적으로 사이보그는 인간과 로봇의 결합을 의미한다. <메트릭스>와 같은 사이보그 영화는 현대사회에서 인간의 과학발전에 대한 두려움을 반영하는 디스토피아적 미래를 담고 있다. 디스토피아적 미래는 로봇, 인공지능, 그리고 인간성의 상실에 의해서 조종되는 인간으로 설명할 수 있다. 깁슨에 의해서 만들어진 사이버스페이스라는 단어는 컴퓨터에 의해서 창출되는 사이버 공간이다. 우리는 인간과 기계 사이의 관계를 부정적으로 판단할 필요가 없다, 왜냐하면 기술은 긍정과 부정의 가능성을 지니고 있기 때문이다. 따라서 우리는 보다 더 나은 삶을 만들기 위해서 효과적으로 기술을 활용해야만 한다. The purpose of this paper is to discuss and understand the problems between human being and technology in modern society by analyzing identity of the cyborgs and the concept of cyberspace in Neuromancer by William Gibson. Cyberpunk is a product of the technological explosion of the 1980s. Neuromancer is a cyberpunk fiction, which includes some elements of post modernism and SF genres. Usually, the most of science fictions in the films were mainly focused on the clash and the conflict between the human nature and technology, and showed the weakness of human beings under the control of technology. Generally, cyborg means the combining of human and robot. Cyborg film like the <Matrix> has dystopia futurism that reflects the humans" fears for the science development in modern society. The dystopia futurism is explained by human being controlled by robots, artificial intelligence, and the loss of humanity. Cyberspace which is a coined word by Gibson, is the virtual space generated by computers. We don"t need to consider the relationship between human being and machine negatively, because technology has the positive and negative possibility. Therefore, we should try to use technology effectively to make our life better.
