It is important to investigate the hull response of a fishing vessel in waves to ensure the safety of it and to keep excellent sea-keeping qualities. For this purpose, we measured the response of fishing vessels in waves using real sea experimental measuring system. We analyze the experimental data by statistical method and spectral analysis to get the characteristics of the response of vessels which have different tonnage. In this real sea experiment, we use three stern trawlers which are the training ship in university. We know that the distribution of experimental response have Gauss distribution and Rayleigh distribution and smaller vessels have larger response.

Recently, due to the environmental pollution and the requirement for the substitute energy, the interest for development of the solar energy system has been highly escalated, It has been approved that the solar energy is a very useful one because of purity and low cost. Some studies about the evaluation of solar radiation on the land has been carried out, but few studies on the sea. This paper deals with a study on the evaluation of solar radiation for development of hot water storage tank by using solar on the sea. The experiments were carried out on the training vessel on the adjacent water of Korea, Japan and China for twenty days. The distributions of solar radiation from the sea were changed into nonlinear in from according to the temperature. The solar radiation on the sea has a great influence on the velocity of wind as well as the temperature. The distribution of solar radiation has higher values on the track of the coastal sea than the open sea at same conditions.
지능형 선박의 자율운항제어를 위한 시뮬레이션 시스템의 설계 및 구현

ANS (autonomous navigation system) is an expert system which builds navigation plans, understands the current environment, and controls a surface ship. The most ideal way to test ANS is available after it is installed into a real surface ship. however, it is impossible to implement into a real ship. since it costs too much to develop the hardware interfaces just for testing. The most appropriate way for testing is to develop a simulation system for a surface ship and apply it. A simulation system for a surface ship consists of two sub-systems : one is a ship movement simulation system to imitate the physical movement characteristics of the ship, and the other is an environmental objects simulation system to build up surroundings of the ship. In this paper, we design and develop a surface ship movement simulation system which imitates its physical movement characteristics by using a motion equation for surface ship. 자율운항제어 시스템은 선박운항에 있어 항해계획을 수립하고 현재의 선박운항 상태를 파악하여 선박을 제어하는 항해 전문가 시스템이다. 이러한 자율운항제어 시스템을 테스트하기 위해서는 실제 선박을 대상으로 성능을 테스트하여야하나, 선박은 고가의 운송수단이고, 자율운항제어 시스템을 장착하기 위한 하부장치 인터페이스를 설계 및 구현하기에는 많은 시간이 소요되므로 선박시뮬레이션 시스템을 이용하는 것이 타당하다. 선박시뮬레이션 시스템은 선박의 물리적 운항특성을 모방하는 선박운동시뮬레이션 시스템과 선박 운항 주변에 변화하는 장애물을 시뮬레이션하는 주변객체 시뮬레이션 시스템으로 구성된다. 본 연구에서는 선박 운동방정식을 이용하여 선박의 물리적 및 운항 특성을 모방한 선박운동시뮬레이션 시스템을 설계 개발하였다.
실선시험기법을 이용한 다방향파중에서의 선박의 응답추정법

In this study, the frequency transfer function of motions are predicted from the result of a full-scale seakeeping trials. Because the real sea has the characteristics of multi-directional waves, we compare the results in the one directional waves with ones in the directional waves. For calculation of the frequency transfer function in the directional waves, Takezawa's inverse estimation method was introduced and the frequency ranges were divided into three parts in order to consider following seas.<br/> The full-scale seakeeping trials was executed in the south sea of Korea using the stem trawler. Those results show that analysis method of the multi-directional waves is more reliable than that of one directional waves, and confirm the possibility of applying this method to the full-scale seakeeping trials.
