유아교사의 사회인구학적 변인과 직무만족도가 어린이집의 CCTV에 관한 인식에 미치는 영향

본 연구는 어린이집의 CCTV에 관한 유아교사들의 인식을 살펴보고, 이들의 사회인구학적 변인과 직무만족도가 CCTV에 관한 인식에 미치는 영향을 밝히기 위해, 2개 광역시와 2개 도에 소재한 어린이집 교사303명의 응답을 분석하였다. CCTV관련 연구도구는 ‘영유아권리보장’, ‘교사권리보장’, ‘심리적 반응’, ‘기관운영 개선에 대한 기대’ 등 총 20문항으로 이루어진 정현옥(2011)과 김은하(2013)의 연구도구를 수정·보완하여 사용하였으며, Cronbach-α계수는 .88이다. 직무만족도 연구도구로는 동료, 원장, 일과 발전기회, 근무여건과 보수에 대한 만족도 등 총 28문항으로 이루어진 윤재석(2013)연구도구를 사용하였으며, Cronbach-α계수는 .89이다. 연구결과 첫째, 유아교사들은 어린이집 CCTV에 대해 ‘영유아권리 보장’영역에서 긍정적인 인식을 나타내었다. 둘째, 유아교사의 CCTV에 대한 인식은 학력, 경력, 근무기관 유형, 담당 학급, 교실 내 CCTV 설치 기간에 따라 차이가 있었다. 셋째, 유아교사의 CCTV에 대한 인식과 직무만족도의 하위 영역 간에는 상관관계가 있었으며, 특히, ‘근무여건과 보수에 대한 만족도’와 높은 상관이 있었다. 넷째, 유아교사의 학력, 경력, 근무기관 유형, 담당 학급, 교실 내 CCTV 설치 기간, 직무만족도가 CCTV에 대한 인식에 미치는 영향력이 확인되었는데, 특히 ‘근무여건과 보수에 대한 만족도’는 CCTV에 대한 인식의 4가지 영역에 모두 영향을 주었다. 본 연구 결과는 영유아와 교사의 권리보장 및 유아교사의 근무환경 개선을 위한 정책방안에 시사점을 줄 수 있을 것이다.

보육교사의 영유아권리인식 연구: 사회인구학적 변인과 CCTV에 관한 인식의 영향력 중심으로

This study aims to clarify the effects of teachers perceptions of children’s rights on teachers socio-demographic variables and awareness of CCTV at child care centers. The participants in this study were 275 teachers in two metropolitan cities and two provinces. The collected data were analyzed by using t-test, one-way ANOVA and Schffe's method. The findings of this study were as follows: First, child care teachers perceptions of children’s rights was generally high. Second, there were significant differences in child care teachers perceptions of children’s rights depending on the teacher’s academic background, the type of child care center they were employed at, their salary, and the length of time the CCTV had been in the classroom. Third, there were significant correlations between child care teachers perceptions of children’s rights and teachers' awareness of CCTV. Fourth, the type of child care center the teacher was employed at, the view of the use of CCTV to protect children’s rights, the teacher's academic background and the length of the time that the CCTV had been in the classroom were found to be significant variables for the perception of children’s rights. This study offers implications for teachers, educators and administrators for how to support child care teachers’ growth, learning, and practices in actively supporting children’s rights. 본 연구는 보육교사의 영유아권리 인식 정도를 살펴보고, 교사의 사회인구학적 변인과 CCTV에 관한 인식이 이에 미치는 영향을 분석하였다. 이를 위해, 2개 광역시와 2개도의 CCTV가 설치된 어린이집에 근무하고 있는 교사 275명의 응답을 분석하였다. 연구 결과 첫째, 교사의 영유아권리 인식정도는 대체로 높게 나타났으며, 생존권, 보호권, 참여권, 발달권 순으로 인식 수준이 높았다. 둘째, 영유아권리에 관한 교사의 인식은 교사의 학력, 근무기관 유형, 급여, 교실 내 CCTV 설치 기간에 따라 차이가 있었다. 셋째, 영유아권리에 관한 인식은 교사의 CCTV에 대한 인식과 상관이 있었다. 넷째, 교사의 근무기관 유형, CCTV의 영유아권리 보장에 대한 인식, 학력, 교실 내 CCTV 설치 기간은 교사의 영유아권리 인식수준에 영향을 미치는 변인이었다. 이러한 연구 결과를 기반으로 보육현장에서 영유아의 권리증진을 위한 실제적인 시사점을 논의하였다.
