자기주도학습능력과 소셜러닝을 위한 소셜네트워크서비스의 교수매체적 속성과의 관계 탐색

The purpose of this study was to analyze the correlation between self-directed learning ability and the instructional media attribute of SNS for social learning. This study collected data from 396 undergraduate and graduate students who were enrolled in four-year universities in Seoul. Reliability analysis, frequency analysis, simple correlation analysis, and canonical correlation analysis, two-independent samples t-test, and one-way ANOVA were used to analyse the data using SPSS 18.0. The major conclusions of the study are as follows: First, there was a strong correlation between self-directed learning ability and the instructional media attribute of SNS for social learning positively. This means that those who have self-directed learning ability are likely to succeed in their study in the social learning environment using SNS. Second, Instructors or instructional designers need to take into account characteristics of learners such as their gender, grade, and major to build a successful learning environment.
