        RS(23,17) 복호기를 위한 PS-DCME 알고리즘

        본 논문에서는 MB-OFDM 시스템에서 사용되는 RS(23,17)부호의 복호기에 사용될 수 있는 PS-DCME(Pipeline Structured-Degree Computationless Modified Euclidean) 알고리즘을 제안한다. 제안된 PS-DCME 알고리즘은 다항식의 차수 계산과 차수 비교를 하지 않고 상태(state) 변화만을 이용하여 ME 알고리즘을 수행하기 때문에, 복호기의 하드웨어 복잡도를 줄일 수 있으며, 고속의 RS(Reed-Solomon) 복호기를 구현할 수 있다. Verilog HDL을 사용하여 알고리즘을 구현하였고, 삼성 65nm library를 이용하여 합성한 결과, 400MHz(2.5nsec)에서 timing closure되었기 때문에, 실제 ASIC을 제작했을 경우에 250MHz정도까지는 동작이 보장된다고 볼 수 있으며, gate count는 19,827이다. In this paper, A pipeline structured-degree computationless modified Euclidean (PS-DCME) algorithm is proposed, which can be used for a RS(23,17) decoder for MB-OFDM system. PS-DCME algorithm requires a state machine instead of the degree computation and comparison circuits, so that the hardware complexity of the decoder can be reduced and high-speed decoder can be implemented. We have implemented a RS(23,17) decoder with PS-DCME using Verilog HDL and synthesized with Samsung 65nm library. From synthesis results, it can operate at clock frequency of 250MHz, and gate count is 19,827.

      • Coating Durability of Metal Bipolar plate for Low Temperature PEMFC

        The development of bipolar plate having high efficiency and chemical properties has a major impact on fuel cell applications commercialization. Even though graphite bipolar plate has high electric conductivity and chemical resistance, it has demerits about mass production and brittle property for commercialization. Hence, metallic bipolar plate can be substitute for fuel cell bipolar plate. Although its inadequate corrosion behavior under PEMFC environment lead to a deterioration of membrane by dissolved metal ions, metallic bipolar plate for PEMFC is more suitable for automotive and residential power generation system because of its high mechanical strength, low gas permeability and applicability to mass production. Therefore, several types of coating has been applied to prevent corrosion and oxide film growth and to achieve more high durability. This work presents durability of coated metal bipolar plate for low temperature PEMFC which made for fuel cell vehicle. This results showed surface treatment increase long-term durability, even electric conductivity and corrosion resistance.

        형평운동의 역사적 가치와 교육적 의의

        목적 본 연구는 형평운동의 연구 동향 및 그 성격을 바탕으로 역사 교육과정과 교과서를 분석하여 형평운동의 역사적 가치와 교육적 의미를 재고하는 데 있다. 방법 이를 위하여 형평운동의 연구 동향을 추적하여 형평운동의 성격을 두 가지로 범주화하였다. 주된 연구 흐름은 민족해방운동의 성격을 강조하여 민족을 중심에 둔 경우이고, 다른 흐름은 차별 타파 운동에 주목하여 시민적 가치를 중요하게 다룬 경우다. 민족적 가치와 시민적 가치를 기준으로 역사 교육과정(7차, 2009 개정, 2015 개정) 및 교과서(2015 개정 고등학교 한국사) 서술을 분석하였다. 결과 본 연구에서 검토한 결과 먼저 역사 교육과정(7차 ‘한국 근⋅현대사’, 2009, 2015 개정 ‘한국사’)에서 형평운동은 민족해방운동의 성격을 강조하여 민족적 가치를 우선하였다. 다만 단원 편제와 성취기준에서 형평운동을 점차 사회운동 차원에서 접근하는 변화가 나타났다. 다음으로 역사 교과서(2015 고등학교 한국사) 서술은 형평운동과 일제의 대립 구도를 중심으로 한 민족해방운동 관점이 지배적이었으나, 형평운동을 사회운동으로 접근하여 시민적 가치에 주목한 서술이 등장했다. 결론 형평운동의 역사적 가치를 재고함으로써 시민교육으로서 형평운동의 교육적 의미를 제고한다. Objectives This study aims to reconsider the historical value and educational significance of social equality movement by analyzing the history curriculum and textbooks based on the research trends and characteristics of the social equality movement. Methods To this end, the research trend of the social equality movement was followed and the characteristics of the social equality movement were categorized into two categories. The main research flow is the case of emphasizing the nature of the national liberation movement and focusing on the nation, and the other trend is the case of focusing on the movement to overcome discrimination in the social equality movement and treating civic values as important. The descriptions of the history curriculum (7th, 2009 revision, 2015 revision) and textbooks (2015 revision high school Korean history) were analyzed based on national values and civic values. Results As a result of the review in this study, first, in the history curriculum (7th Korean Modern and Contemporary History, 2009, 2015 Revised Korean History), the social equality movement emphasized the characteristics of the national liberation movement, giving priority to national values. However, there was a change that gradually approached the social equality movement in terms of social movement in terms of unit organization and achievement technology. Next, in the history textbook (2015 High School Korean History), the view of the national liberation movement centered on the confrontation between the social equality movement and the Japanese Empire was dominant, but a narrative focused on civic values by approaching the social equality movement as a social movement appeared. Conclusions By reconsidering the historical value of the social equality movement, the educational significance of the social equality movement as a citizenship education is improved.

        기관투자가의“수평적 주식보유(Horizontal Shareholding)”에 대한 경쟁법적 논의

        Recently, there are growing number of literatures that discuss the problem of “horizontal shareholding,”a case where an institutional investor owns shares of multiple companies competing in the same relevant market. As a result, the OECD organized a seminar to discuss the anti-competitive effet of such horizontal shareholding, while some scholars also write papers that criticize such practices. Economically, if the same investor owns shares of direct competitiors in the same industry/relevant market, the incentive of those competitors to compete decreases. In a perfectly competitive market, a company would generally decrease the price to take over market shares of its competitors and maximize profits. However, if there is a common owner over such competitors in the same market, it may be increase the incentive not to compete among the competitors, as it may maximize the common owner’s dividends and stock prices. In some cases, an institutional investor owning multiple competitors may influence the decision-making of such portfolio companies, and act as a “cartel ringmaster” who induces agreement/concerted actions of the portfolio companies and monitor such agreement/concerted practice. In such case, the institutional investor may act as a “hub” in a “hub-and-spoke” cartel. Interestingly, in the OECD’s discussion paper, the chance for the institutional investor to facilitate anti-competitive actions exercising its right as a shareholder may be smaller than theory. However, one must point out that such institutional investor has at least several measures to exert its influence by 1) appointing board members; 2) voting; 3) direct communication with the portfolio company; and even 4) acquiesce. In addition, there may be cases where the different interests of the institutional investors may prevent the portfolio company from engaging in an anti-competitive action. On the other hand, some scholars argue that the horizontal shareholding practice is very similar to the pre-Sherman Act “trust,” which requires close scrutiny and strict regulation under antitrust law. Once there is an anticompetitive action resulting from the horizontal shareholdings, the DOJ/FTC may invoke Section 7 of the Clayton Act and/or Sections 1 and 2 of the Sherman Act. In case of the European Union, the TFEU Articles 101 and 102 may be invoked by the European Commission or national competition authorities. At the same time, Korean Fair Trade Commission may invoke Article 3-2 and 19 of the Monopoly Regulation and Fair Trade Act (MRFTA). Considering the potential antic-competitive effect of horizontal shareholding, the competition authorities may need to monitor possibility that one or more institutional investors may take the role of “hub” of a “hub-and-spoke” cartel. In addition, the horizontal shareholders may have to set up a system to report anti-competitive practices of their portfolio companies, and require strict compliance system on the portfolio companies.

        나선형영상획득에서 Pitch에 따른 CT 감약계수와 잡음의 변화

        본 연구는 Pitch의 변화에 따른 CT 감약계수(CT Number)와 잡음(Noise)의 변화를 정량적으로 측정하고자 자체 제작한 맞춤형 팬텀(Customized Phantom)을 사용하였다. 팬텀을 이용한 영상의 획득을 위해 팬텀 내부는 멸균증류수로 가득 채웠다. 유리관 내부에는 생리식염수와 조영제의 비율을 각각 생리식염수 100%, 400:1, 200:1, 100:1, 50:1로 희석한 용액을 담은 후 영상화하였고, 이때 용액의 희석비율별로 pitch를 0, 0.35, 0.7, 1.05, 1.4의 단계로 나누어 각각 영상화하였다. 희석비율별로 모든 ROI에서 측정한 CT number와 noise 값의 평균이 pitch의 변화에 따라 유의한 차이를 보이는지 검증하고자 일원 배치 분산분석(One-way ANOVA Analysis)과 사후검정을 시행하였다. 실험 결과 각 희석비율별 pitch의 변화에 대한 CT number의 변화는 통계적으로 유의한 차이가 없었지만, noise 값은 pitch의 증가에 따라 증가하는 경향을 보였으며, 통계적으로도 유의한 차이를 보이는 것으로 나타났다. 나선형 영상획득 방식은 pitch에 따라 noise가 유의한 수준으로 달라질 수 있다. 따라서 나선형 영상획득 방식을 적용한 CT 영상의 화질평가 항목과 기준을 설정할 필요가 있을 것이다. In this study, a self-made customized phantom was used to quantitatively measure the change in CT number and noise according to the change of pitch. In order to acquire an image using the phantom, the inside of the phantom was filled with sterile distilled water. Inside the glass tube, a solution obtained by diluting the ratio of normal saline and contrast medium to 100%(NS), 400:1, 200:1, 100:1, 50:1, respectively, was placed and imaged. At this time, the pitch was divided into steps of 0, 0.35, 0.7, 1.05, and 1.4 for each dilution ratio of the solution and imaged, respectively. One-way ANOVA analysis were performed to verify whether the mean of the CT number and noise values measured in all ROIs by dilution ratio showed a significant difference according to the change in pitch. As a result of the experiment, there was no statistically significant difference in the change of the CT number according to the change in the pitch for each dilution ratio, but the noise value tended to increase with the increase of the pitch, and showed a statistically significant difference. In the spiral image acquisition of CT, noise can be changed to a significant level depending on the pitch. Therefore, it will be necessary to set the quality evaluation items and criteria for CT images using the spiral image acquisition method.
