In recent years, it is new renaissance of international construction in Korea. Nevertheless, many countries are competing fiercely for more contracts. Therefore, a countermeasure is needed for upgrade to take better position in the world market. Futhermore, there is a weakness for scarcity of a specialist for international construction in Korea. Attempts to find a solution has to be approached by making effective arrangement of specialist rather than by increasing number of them, though. Therefore, this paper identifies a solution through drawing factors of competence for a specialist in the international construction. In its final analysis, drawing and analyzing the factors that are need for them and, do importance-performance analysis. Therefore, raise korean competitiveness in the international construction fields through using and training them accurately.

Buckling Restrained Braces(BRBs) show good seismic behavior. They do not dissipate energy, however, when they are subjected to wind. Hybrid Buckling Restrained Braces(H-BRBs), which can improve the wind performance of the BRB system, are a kind of hybrid damper system composed of a viscoelastic damper and BRBs. In this paper, the H-BRBs subjected to wind load was explored in the method of time history analysis for 3-dimensional model. The wind load for serviceability design was obtained from the wind tunnel test. Along wind and across wind load datas were used. Steel brace, buckling restrained brace, and H-BRB were compared in terms of the roof displacement, the roof acceleration, hysteresis loops. It was concluded that H-BRBs show good performance for the wind load and have improved the high-rise building performance at a serviceability level.

To investigate the effects of N-4-salicyloamide-2-amino-6-piperidinopyrimidine 3-oxide (SALMI) on the blood pressure, this study was carried out in rats, using ethanol as vehicle. When Salmi and its salt were administered into the rat by oral administration or i.v. injection, both of them decreased blood pressure. But when Salmi was administered not more than 200㎎/㎏(oral) and 30㎎/㎏(i.v.) and Salmi·HCl was administered not more than 100 ㎎/㎏(oral), they did not significantly influence on the depressor effects of blood pressure.

The derivatives of methyl 5-hydroxy-dinaphtho[l,2-2'',3'']furan-7,12-dione-6-carboxylate (MHDDC) were synthesized by condensing alkyl sulfate or alkyl halide with MHDDC in organic solvent, and their structures were identified by NMR, MS, UV, IR etc. We also investigated the physico-chemical properties, physiological activities, and set up the micro-analytical method of the compounds.

To investigate the antialopecic effect of N-4-salicylomide-2-amino-6-piperidinopyrimidine 3-oxide(SALMI) and its salt on the hair of black mouse (C57BL/6), this study was carried out. When salmi and its salt in ethanol solution were administered to the black mouse (C57BL/6) by route of skin, both of them promoted the growth of hair.
