우리나라에서의 腸炎비브리오(VP)의 分布 및 季節別動態의 一端을 알고저 馬山港에서 採取한 魚貝類에서 VP의 分離를 試圖하였고 分離한 VP의 몇가지 性狀을 追究하여 다음과 같은 成績을 얻었다. VP는 魚類에서 보다 貝類에서 더 높은 率로 分離되었으며 月別分布를 보면 4月부터 分離되기 始作하여 7, 8月에 最高의 分離率을 나타내며 其後 次次 減少되어 12月부터 3月頃까지는 分離되지 않하였다. 分離菌의 K抗原型分布를 보면 29個型의 菌이 同定되어 59.6%가 型別되었으며 그中 K4, K8, K32,K50, K57등이 比較的 많았다. VP의 10%食鹽耐性을 본바 約37.7%가 10%食鹽存在下에서 繁殖하였으며 cellobiose를 24時間內에 分解하는 菌도 볼수있었고 ornithine decarboxylase 作用이 없는 菌株도 相當히 많았다. 多大數의 菌株가 晋通血液寒天上에서 β溶血을 일으키며 約 2/3의 菌株가 24時間에 Kanagawa溶血이 腸性 또는 ??腸性이 었으며 48時間後에는 大多數의 菌이 β溶血性이고 Kanagawa腸性이었다. Vibrio parahaemolyticus has been extensively studied in recent decades as a major cause of acute gastroenteritis in summer time. This study was undertaken to know the seasonal (monthly) distribtution of V. parahaemolyticus in marine specimens collected at the fish market in Masan, Kyungnam where is located at the south coast of Korea. About two grams of aseptically cut gill and/or skin of fish and body of shellfish were suspended in small amount of 3% NaCl. After shaking throughly two loopfulls were spread on thiosulfate-citrate-bile-sucrose (TCBS) agar plates. Simultaneously 0.2ml were inoculated into 5ml of salt-teepol buffer for enrichment and then subcultured on TCBS agar after incubation. Sea water was spread on TCBS agar before and after enrichment. Suspected colonies on TCBS agar after incubation were identified by biochemical reactions. V. parahaemolyitcus was isolated from shellfish more frequently than from fish. This organism was isolated in high rates in warm seasons and disappeared in winter season when sea water temperature was below 10C. The higher isolation rates were observed in July and August. One hundred and fifty-six isolates were sero-typerd with 52 K sera from Kl through K57, and 93 strains were classified into 29 K types and 63 strains (40.4%) were nontypable. Among typed strains, K4, K8, K32, K50 and K57 were dominant with more than 5 strains. About 37.7% of strains of V. parahaemolyticus propagated in the presence of 10% sodium chloride, and some strains fermented cellobiose within 24 hours. No strain which fermente sorbitol or did not show lysine decarboxylase activity was identified as V. parahemolyticu. Most strains isolated from marine specimens and all from patients and carriers were beta hemolytic and only limited numbers were alpha hemolytic or non-hemolytic within 24 hours of incubation. About two-thirds of strains from marine specimens and all from patients and carriers were Kanangawa positive within 24 hours of incubation and most of them became positive after 48 hours at 37℃. There was good correlation between ordinary hemolysis and Kanagawa hemolysis after 48 hours at 37C.

Bacteriological studies were carried out in order to observe the homogenicity of the isolated strains of Pseudomonas aeruginosa from vaginal cavities. Although some strains have lost pyocyanine production by subculture, all strains have maintained oxidase formation and most strains were confined to pyocin typo I of Gillies and Govan's formula. Except slight strain difference of sensitivity against polymyxin B, all strains showed homogenicity in sensitivities to gentamicin, colistin and polymyxin B. All test strains also confined to single sego-type 6 of Homma scheme. By above assay, it was possible to comfirm the interesting finding of homogenicity of vaginal strains of Pseudomonas aeruginosa.

Gravindex Slide Test for Pregnancy의 사용에 관하여

1. Gravindex slide test에서 사용되는 시약의 예민도를 Primogonyl 및 Puberogen을 사용하여 측정하였다. 2. Primogonyl을 사용한 경과 Mainini test는 62.5 I.U.에서 양성을 나타내었고, Gravindex slide test는 7.81 I.U. 에서 양성을 나타내었다. 3. Puberogen을 사용한 경과, Mainini test 는 50 I.U. 에서, Gravindex Slide test는 12.5 I.U. 에서 각각 양성을 나타내었다. 4. 임부 15예에 있어서는 전예 양성을 나타내었고, 비임부 15예중 14예에서 음성을 나타내었다. 5. 포장기태 2예, 융모상피종 2예에 있어서는 모두 양성을 나타내었다. 6. 전례적으로 보아 그 신뢰도는 97.05%이다. 7. 대조실험으로 행한 성 성숙기 남자뇨 3예 및 생리적식염수에 대한 본 반응은 모두 음성으로 나타났다. 8. 고단백뇨를 가진 비임 여자 환자 1예에서 시행한 2회의 본 test는 2회 공히 false positive를 나타내었다. ,... 뇨임신반응검사 1) Gravindex slide test for pregnancy were used to identify the H.C.G. in the urine. 2) Preliminary tests were performed to decide the sensitivity of the Gravindex. a) using Primogonyl (H.C.G.): Mainini tests were positive at 62.5 I. U. and the Gravindex test showed positive at 7.8 I. U. b) using Puberogen (H.C.G.): Mainini tests were positive at 50 I. U. and Gravindex test showed positive at 12.5 I. U. As mentioned above, Gravindex test showed more sensitive than frog test. 3) 15 pregnant women showed all positive, and 1 false positive appeared from the 15 nonpregnant women. 4) In 2 cases of hydatidiform mole, and in 2 cases of chorionepithelioma, all showed positive reactions. Over-all reliability of the Gravindex test was 97.05%. 5) Three cases of male urine showed all negative reactions. 6) The urine contained high protein obtained from 10 years postmenopausal woman showed false positive. ... hCG, urine pregnancy test
