        The present problem of internal combustion engine is to economize fuel, to develop alternative fuel, and purification of exhaust gas. Alternative fuel are liquid fuels of methanol, ethanol, vegetable oils etc, and gas fuels of LPG, LNG, methane gas etc. Purification methods of exhaust gas are ① EGR ② reducing catalyst ③ improvement of combustion condition and so on. In this paper, studied the movement for engine performance and exhaust exhaust(CO, HC) at EGR. As results of study, following items were obtained: 1. Brake horse power of engine decrease slowly by 8% EGR rate and is showed increase of decreasing rate of brake horse power according to increasing EGR rate. 2. Specific fuel consumption increase slowly by 10% EGR rate and more increase according to increasing rate. 3. CO emission decrease according to increasing EGR rate and reach minimum value at ignition timing of BTDC 30 degree. 4. HC emission increase according to increasing EGR rate. 5. The time terms from ignition to maximum pressure delay according to increasing EGR rate and become short according to advance ignition timing.

      • 미주지역 국가의 헌법전문에 관한 비교연구

        1. This study aims at comparing the formal and substantial aspects of the preambles of the Constitutions in thirty-five American countries. Each of them has their own written constitution, but four Constitutions(Jamaica, Chile, Mexico, Uruguay) lack a preamble. 2. As for the formal aspects of preambles of thirty-one Constitutions, the average file sizes of the texts are 1,399 bytes and the average running words are 196 words. In eleven preambles, their file sizes are smaller than 1,000 bytes, and their running words are less than 350 words. Each text of almost all preambles, except for Guyana and Bolivia, consists of only one sentence. 3. As for the substantial aspects of preambles, have been examined by whom and by what procedures the Constitution had been adopted; what are the concepts of constitutional principles or values described in the preambles. 1) It is described in the preambles that eleven Constitutions were adopted by the 'people', and nine by the 'Constituent Assembly'. However, in eleven preambles it is not clear who adopted the Constitution. Just four of the Constitutions were adopted via voting of an assembly and only three via a referendum. 2) As for the political systems, the words implying republic are mentioned in twelve preambles, those of federalism in four preambles, and those implying monarchy only in the preamble of the Canadian Constitution of 1867. 3) As for the concepts of constitutional principles or values, more frequently are mentioned such as: religion, freedom, democracy, justice, human dignity, equality, peace, rule of law, human rights, republic, sovereignty, history, in- dependence, unity, and welfare or wellbeing, arranged in the order of their frequencies. However, more frequent concepts are different between the fourteen Anglo-American countries and the seventeen Latin American countries. The concepts which are used less frequently in the preambles are peace, history, and republic in the Anglo-America, but human dignity, rule of law, and human rights in the Latin America. 4. Finally, it is significant to mention the preambles of the Constitution of South Korea. The preamble of the Korean Constitution contains many above-mentioned concepts familiar with American countries, but lacks in some concepts such as human dignity, human rights, and the rule of law. It is necessary to supplement the preamble with those concepts by amending the Constitution in time.

        아시아 지역 국가의 헌법과 바다 - 해양관할권을 중심으로 -

        이 논문에서는 아시아 지역 국가의 헌법상 해양관할권에 관한 규율을 비교․분석한다. 예비적으로, 헌법상 영토조항을 분석한 결과, 영토의 범위나 경계를 직접적으로 또는 적극적으로 규율하는 영토조항을 두고 있는 경우는 17개국에 불과하다. 헌법에 언급된 해양관할권 개념을 분석한 결과, 영해는 14개국, 대륙붕은 9개국, 배타적 경제수역은 6개국의 헌법에서 언급되며, 이들 셋을 모두 언급한 경우는 5개국, 영해를 포함하여 둘을 언급한 경우는 4개국이며, 5개국은 영해만, 1개국은 대륙붕만 언급한다. 해양관할권의 범위나 경계에 관한 헌법규정을 분석한 결과, 8개국만 그것을 법률에 위임하거나 입법관할사항으로 규정하고, 나머지 9개국은 침묵하고 있다. 또한 해양관할권 개념의 용법을 분석한 결과, 해양관할권 개념은 국가의 주권․관할권의 범위를 규율하기 위하여(7개국), 연방과 주 또는 국가기관 상호간의 권한배분을 규율하기 위하여(8개국), 그리고 해양자원의 소유권 귀속(국유 등)을 규율하기 위하여(9개국) 사용된다. 끝으로, 해양관할권의 범위에 관한 각국의 주장, 즉 법령상 규율을 분석한 결과, 연안국 35개국 중에서 다수는 영해 12해리(33개국), 접속수역 24해리(24개국), 배타적 경제수역 200해리(23개국), 그리고 대륙붕은 대륙변계 바깥 끝과 200해리 중 어느 하나 또는 둘(18개국)을 규정하고 있다. 법령에조차 그것을 명시하지 않는 국가는 인접해역의 폭이 좁은 경우가 많다. The aim of this article is to study the concepts of maritime jurisdiction(MJ) referred in the Constitutions of forty seven Asian countries, such as territorial sea(TS) or territorial waters, exclusive economic zone(EEZ), and continental shelf(CS), etc. Such subjects are examined in turn, as constitutional clauses of territory, the sorts and the usages of concepts of MJ referred in the Constitutions, constitutional provisions about the limits or boundaries of MJ, and claims to MJ on the lower level than the Constitutions. The results are as follows: Seventeen countries have constitutional clauses by which the scopes or boundaries of territories are specificly or positively prescribed. TS is referred in fourteen Constitutions, CS in nine, and EEZ in six. All of those three concepts are just referred in five Constitutions. Those concepts are used in order to specify the elements of the territory or the scopes of MJ in seven Constitutions, to regulate the distribution of powers concerning MJ in eight, and to regulate the national ownership of various maritime natural resources in nine. As for limits or boundaries of MJ, eight Constitutions say that they shall be specified by Acts, but nine Constitutions are silent. On the level of Acts or decrees, twelve nautical miles of TS are claimed by thirty three countries, twenty four of contiguous zone by twenty four, two hundred of EEZ by twenty three, and outer edges of continental margin or two hundred of CS by eighteen.

      • 內燃機關의 背壓에 關한 硏究 : 背壓변화에 따른 排氣밸브 流量係數 考察 Discharge Coefficient of Exhaust Valve according to various Back Pressure

        The increase of back pressure of internal combustion engine have exert an important effect upon decrease of intake fresh mixture gases and decrease of fuel consumption ratio and so forth. In this paper, was studied the movement of exhaust process according as 'increasing engine back pressure by derivation of theoretical formula of discharge coefficient at exhaust valve and calculation of instantaneous discharge coefficent of exhaust valve about each crank angle. As result, following items were obtained; 1) Discharge coefficient formula of exhaust valve was obtained by theoretical analysis at analytic model Fig. (1). 2) Instantaneous discharge coefficient were calculated by measuring low and high pressure indicator diagram and pressure diagram at exhaust pipe of directly after exhaust valve and by using above formula. (8). 3) Instantaneous discharge coefficient of exhaust valve according as hack pressure was from 0.4 to 0.5.

      • Spark Plug 형상이 점화특성에 미치는 효과에 관한 연구

        Gap interval of spark plug have influenced on the ignition property of spark ignition system. In this paper, the author was studied that various gap interval of spark plug and opening ratio of throttle valve were affected to engine torque and spark energy. As result, following items were obtained ; 1) Engine torque were a little increased as to increasing spark gap interval. 2) Capacitive discharge energy were increased as to the increasing ignition voltage caused by large spark gap interval. 3) Inductive discharge energy were steadied at any spark gap interval caused by spark energy are increase but spark duration are decrease. 4) Total spark energy were increased as to the increasing spark gap interval and throttle valve opening ratio.
