우리나라의 수도 서울은 고려시대 (10 ~ 14세기)의 남경 및 조선 시대 (14 ~ 20세기)의 왕도였다. 용산지역은 바로 그 서울의 남산과 한강 사이에 위치하여 예로부터 아름다운 풍관을 지녔던 곳이며, 한강과 철도를 통한 문물교류가 활발히 이루어져 온 만남과 소통의 요지이다. 용산공원 부지는 현재 서울의 중심에 위치해 있으므로 향후 도시 구조의 변화 및 공간적 재편의 촉매제가 되고, 도시에 활력을 불어넣을 수 있는 잠재력을 가지고 있다. 용산공원 부지는 우리나라의 특수한 근, 현대사를 겪으며 오랜 기간 군사 기지로 사용됨에 따라 기형적 도시 구조를 초래했던 곳으로 이제는 국민의 품으로 반환된다는 상징성을 고려하여 국가공원으로 재탄생될 예정이다. 역사성 · 문화성 · 여가 휴식 등 국민들의 다양한 요구 사항을 발전적으로 수용하고, 용산공원의 창조적인 미래상을 구현하기 위하여 구체적 공원 설계를 계획하였다.

파리 서울공원 설계

In June, the City of Seoul held a design competition for $\ulcorner$Seoul Park$\lrcorner$in Paris to promote friendly relations with its sister city. The purpose of this paper is to articulate the design concept of a scheme submitted by the author. The author interpreted the object of this design competition as follows: if we regards a park not as one of urban planning facilities but as a space for expressing a culture, $\ulcorner$Seoul Park$\lrcorner$in Paris is a space expressing Korean culture, or a culture of the City of Seoul in Paris, France. Three points were emphasized in this scheme: 1. Physical and non-physical aspects of Korean culture, or a culture of the City of Seoul were expressed separately. In physical part, a traditional Korean garden was reappeared to express its authenticity compared to its counterpart, French classical garden - its formal and grand style. In nonphysical part, Seoul's features and its citizen's facial expression were engraved on 'free standing walls' named 'Seoul Expression'. In addition, Korean traditional and modern performing arts will be performed in a square named as 'Seoul madang' surrounded by the free standing walls. 2. A space clearly divided by the fence was necessary to distinguish a traditional Korean garden from the place which looks like an amusement park. Traditional wall, mounding and pine tree groves were included. 3. Bamboo grove with the way taking a walk was introduced. The author expected that Parisian feels oriental mystery, the sound of wind, and the time lag of past and present in this sounding bamboo grove.

옥외 예술장식품 설치공간의 실태에 관한 연구-서울시 건축물 부설 예술장식품 심의대장을 중심으로-

It is clear that so called 1% law " in Korea has been established to enhance the quality of urban environment. However, after more than 10 years of its enforcement, environmental sculptures installed in accordance with the "1% law" are even being called as "sculptural pollution". This research was a part of a study on the environmental sculptures for the enhancement of the quality of urban environment. The purpose of this study was to investigate problems inherent in the outdoor space as places of environmental sculptures installed in accordance with "1% law". The following facts were found from the analysis of the relationship between 223 environmental sculptures and their surrounding environment from the viewpoint of spatial organization through field surveys. 1. 88.3% out of 223 environmental sculptures were located on ' 'public space' on study sites 2. 69.1% were placed on 'green' 3. 80.7% of 'green' were either 'point' types or 'line' types 4. 85.2% were under 5m in the longest dimension. The implication of this study is that "1% law" in Korea has been applied to only buildings in private sector where most outdoor space area in unadequate physical and spatial conditions to install diverse forms of environmental sculptures. Further studies must be carried out to install environmental sculptures in public open pace as an alternative by amending "1% law".

안전시설 설치 기준 마련을 위한 도로안전 판단지표 개발연구

과거 안전시설 설치 기준 및 도로안전지수 등에 관한 다양한 연구가 수행되어왔다. 하지 만 연구결과를 사용하기에 많은 조사항목과 사용하기 어려운 변수를 사용하는 등 현장에 적용하기에는 한계가 있다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 연구결과의 적용 가능성을 고려한 도로 안전 판단지표를 개발하고 안전시설의 설치 기준을 마련하고자 하였다. 유관시스템의 데이터 항목을 검토하였으며 이미 활용 중인 변수의 사용을 고려하였다. 상관분석과 요인분 석을 통해 교통요인, 도로요인, 사고요인을 반영한 도로안전 판단지표를 개발하였으며, 군 집분석을 통해 안전시설의 설치판단 기준 점수를 도출하였다. 분석결과 단일로에 비해 교 차로에서 설치판단 기준 점수가 더 낮게 분석되었으며 교차로의 도로 위험도가 더 큰 것으 로 분석되었다. In the past, various studies have been conducted on safety facility installation standards and road safety indices. But there are limitations in applying them to the field, such as using many survey items and variables that are difficult to use. Therefore, this study attempted to develop road safety judgment indicators considering the applicability of the research results and to prepare criteria for installing safety facilities. As part of the study, data of related systems were reviewed, and the use of variables already in use was figured out. Furthermore, the road safety judgment indicators reflecting traffic, road, and accident factors were developed through correlation and factor analysis. Later, the criteria score for determining the installation of safety facilities was derived through cluster analysis. The analyses suggested, that the installation judgment criterion score at the intersection was lower than that of the single road(crosswalk), and the road risk at the intersection was higher.

Noise affects psychological and physiological responses, and the response may be varied by the type and sound pressure level (SPL) of noise. To investigate both factors influencing these responses, a laboratory experiment was conducted. The sound stimuli consisted of seven types of noise in real life of apartment: three impact sounds (child jumping, child running, and piledriver) and four stationary noises (toilet plumbing, conversation, road traffic, and air-conditioner outdoor unit noise). Sound stimuli were reproduced at three SPLs (50 dB, 60 dB, and 70 dB in LAFmax for impact sound and 45 dB, 55 dB and 65 dB in LAeq for stationary noise) using headphones and a woofer speaker. For the psychological responses, the participants rated valence, arousal, and dominance of Self-Assessment Manikin by 9-point scale and annoyance by 7-point scale. Simultaneously, all participants’ electrocardiogram data and electrodermal activity (EDA) were measured using Biopac systems (MP36R) to obtain physiological responses. First, in the psychological response, valence and dominance decreased and arousal and annoyance increased as SPL increased. The change rate of mean heart rate data averaged over all residential noises showed a tendency to increase with increasing SPL and showed a similar trend between the impact sounds. It was also shown that average root mean square successive difference decreased, and EDA significantly increased as the SPL increased.

IMS/HSDPA기반 서비스 진화 연구

3G 이동통신 시스템 표준화 단체인 3GPP ($3^{rd}$ Generation Partnership Project)와 3GPP2 ($3^{rd}$ Generation Partnership Project 2)는 이동통신망에서의 무선 IP 멀티미디어 서비스 확산을 위하여 유선 인터넷의 핵심 응용 서비스인 실시간 서비스를 도입하기 위한 표준화 작업을 진행하고 있다. 그리고, 현재 개발 중인 HSDPA (High Speed Downlink Packet Access)와 IMS (IP Multimedia CN Subsystem)는 궁극적으로 All IP 기반 광대역 멀티미디어 서비스 제공을 추구하고 있으며 Parlay API(Application Programming Interface)를 이용한 다양한 $3^{rd}$ party 응용서비스 제공 환경을 제공할 수 있을 것이다. 이에 본 고에서는 HSDPA 및 IMS를 포괄하는 All IP관련 표준화 현황을 조사하고 나아가 IMS와 HSDPA 기반 서비스 진화에 대한 고찰을 통해 향후 이동통신 서비스의 개발 방향을 예측해 보고자한다.
