        The spatial performance in modern architecture should be the act that could be more functional and comfort space for cultural life. Therefore in this paper focused on the creation of architecutural form, the concepts of architectural design vocabulaies are re-defined by the unification of the fundamental theory of form and the classification of design vocabularies. This is for the space not inhuman but human.

      • 建築物의 結露防止에 關한 硏究

        Vapor is an element of indoor environmental climate and suitable humidity is needed for optimum indoor climate for human beings. Condensation of water occurs whenever moist air comes into contact with a surfac whose temperature is below the prevailing dew-point temperature of the psychrometricc mixture. Condensation cannot take place if the surface is at temperature above the dew-point. Condensation or evaporation is accompanied by the release or absorption of latent heat. Condensation reduces the durability of building materials and become a cause of heat loss. Therefore, We must try to prevent condensation for energy conservation in building. The followings are some preventives of condensation 1. Removal of excessive vapor 2. Use of sufficient thermal insulants and reasonable disposition of vapor barrier. 3. Prevention of vapor drop. 4. Use of hygroscopic materials as interior finishing material 5. Soil is so effective of absorption and exhalation of vapor that may be used as building material for humidity control.

        In the housing design of the linear three generation family, the design factors are 「privacy」, 「each generation area's location」, 「behaviors according to the time」, 「public space and individual space」,「life style」etc. The types of living unit in apartment house which is fit for Korean actual circumstances are as follows ① Three generation family live together in a living unit. ② 2 living units are contiguous to each other horizontally or perpendicularly. ③ 2 living units are laid out near in a building. I think that the suitable size for a large family in apartment house is 85∼100㎡

        The functions of windows are natural lighting, ventilation and vista etc. These are very important elements of optimum in door climate and design condition. The windows should be planned for physical and mental comfort requirement. If area of window is broad, the feeling in the room is comfortable but heat loss grows larger. Therefore we must control reasonably the area of window. The preventive measures of heat loss by window are as follows. 1. pair glass is prefer to single one. and double window should he constructed if there is no other glass but single plate only. 2. If sash itself has excellent adiabatic efficiency, preventive efficiency of heat loss is so effective that we may not use pair glass or double window and it is good to use sash made PVC family. 3. Window must be fitted to its frame not to he infiltrated by outdoor air when it is closed. 4. In case of double window, as window paper has excellent thermal efficiency and economic adherence of window paper in inside window is useful.

        In 21th century Information society, We can expect the great changes and the architecture also should change. The environment, natural resources, town life, telecommunication system and building performance improvement have an effect on architectural planning. In this study, THE construction tendency in the information-oriented age are as follow 1. All buildings have telecommunication systems. 2. Green renovation in building is environment-friendly architecture. 3. Various energies (solar heat, terrestrial heat, wind force) which are fit for the environ -ments in building are used. 4. The preconditions in building are safety, health, and comfort. 5. The utilization of water resources and natural energy, energy conservation and multiple application of building materials should be at a loss.

      • 建築物에 있어서 白花의 發生原因과 防止對策에 대한 硏究

        The efflorescence causes damage to the external appearance of the building. It is, in most cases, caused by unreasonable building design, bad materials and inconclusive execution. The conditions of the efflorescence occurrence are the low temperature, the shade, much moisture, the suitable wind velocity and young cement products. In this study, the cause of the efflorescence is examined and its proper control method, if not perfectly, is proposed. This paper aims at the reduction and the prevention against the efflorescence occurrence.

        For this paper, the fundamental knowledge and the preference for color were investigated through the guestionnaire. and the understanding of hue(the name of color) was investigated, using the Munsell color circle by the individual interview. The results of analysis are as follows. 1. The basic knowledge for color was very short. 2. The resbondents did not know fairly the name of hue of the general chromatic color. 3. The development and the use of the audio-visual materials are absolutely necessary for the effective color education.

        Uncaria sinensis(Oli.) Havil Suppressendotoxin-induced Proinflammatory Responses through Blocking ERK Signaling Pathways

        Uncaria sinensis(Oli.) Havil (USH) is used in traditional Korean medicine to treat inflammation such as amebic dysentery. In this study, we investigated the anti-inflammatory effect of USH. The water extract of USH significantly inhibits lipopolysaccharide (LPS)-induced nitrite oxide (NO), tumor necrosis factor (TNF)-α, interleukin (IL)-6and IL-12 productions in murine peritoneal macrophages. Furthermore, USH selectively inhibited activation of the extracellular signal-regulated kinase (ERK) but not of p38 MAPK, c-Jun N-terminal kinase (JNK) and nuclear factor-κB (NF-κB). In murine model, we found that administration of USH reduced serum levels of TNF-α, IL-6 and IL-12 productions in LPS-treated mice. Our results suggest that USH exerts ant-inflammatory effects in macrophages via inhibition of ERK activation and may be a useful therapeutic approach to inflammatory diseases.

      • 建築物의 色彩와 輻射熱과의 關聯性에 對한 硏究

        We can obtain amenity, safety, efficiency and emotion refinement by color conditioning. The arrangement of color of interior and exterior of buildings affects the visual environment and the thermal environment by radiation heat. Therefore, color conditioning should be considered and applied from the amenity of ?human body and energy conservation of point of view. The results of study in this paper are as follows 1) We can obtain the effect of energy conservation by seasonable coloration. 2) The color scheme of building should consider not only the visual design but also the thermal action. 3) Colour conditioning makes increase the light effect by the reflection of light. 4) In case of various coloring, the color of balance point affects the feeling of heat .and cold. 5) In the feeling of temperature for color, the hue is the most intensive and the feeling -of temperature by the value is specially fell at the achromatic color family.
