압축성(壓縮性) 모래를 사용하여 주응력(主應力)을 각기 독립적으로 조절할 수 있는 입방체삼축시험(立方體三軸試驗)을 하였다. 그 결과 초기(初期) 변형계수(變形係數)는 b값의 증가와 더불어 증가하고 중간주응력(中間主應力)이 b값이 적을 때는 주변형율간(主變形率間)의 거동(擧動)에 영향을 미치지 못하고 배수(排水) 경우는 b=0.3, 비배수(非排水)경우는 b=0.6 값에서부터 b값이 커질수록 최대주변형율(最大主變形率)(${\varepsilon}_1$) 값이 더 적은 값에서 파괴(破壞)된다. 파괴시(破壞時) 소성변율(塑性變形率) 중분벡터의 방향은 배수조건(排水條件)에 무관하고 직교조건은 3축면(三軸面)에서는 만족되지 않으나 팔면체면(八面體面)에서는 만족되는 재료(材料)임을 알았다. A series of cubical triaxial tests with independent control of the three principal stresses were performed on a compressible sand. All specimens which were formed by depositing the fine sand loosely, were used. It was found that slope of the stress-strain curve increased with increased b value, and the major principal strain at failure first remains approximetely constant for b values smaller than about 0.3 for drained condition and 0.6 for undrained condition respectively, and thereafter decreases with increasing value of b. The test results showed that the direction of the strain increments at failure form acute angles with the failure surfaces for both the drained and undrained condition. The results are thus not in agreement with the normality criterion from classic plasticity theory. However, it was found that the projections of the plastic strain increment vectors on the octahedral plane are perpendicular to the faiure surface in that plane.
연약지반의 변형억제 효과에 대한 2차원 모형실험 및 수치계산

본문은 0.5kgf/cm2, 1kgf/cm2로 추밀된 모형점토지반(140*25*80cm)에 Sand Mat나 Geotextiles 의 크기를 변화시켜 포설한 뒤에 강주기초와 요성기초를 설치하는 10종의 모형기초에 재하시험을 실시한 것이다. 재하시험을 통해 얻어진 수평, 수직변위위 기초형태별 변음을 고찰하고 또한 이들 변형을 예측하는 전산 프로그램에 의해 수치계산을 수행한 것이다. 그 결과 변형을 예측하는 수치계산은 매우 양호한 정도를 보였고 지반지지력은 강성기초가 더 유리하며, 수평, 수직 양변위에 대응하기 위해서는 Sand Mat, Geotextile의 양 공법을 병용하는 것이 효과적임을 알았다. 또한 Sand Mat만 단독으로 이용할 경우는 수직변위의 억제효과가 크며 똑같이 Geotextile만 쓴 경우는 수평변위의 억제효과가 크다. Load tests for ten small-scale foundation models combined with geotextile and sand mat were conducted to study the effect of geotextile, sand mat, and foundation types on deformation of foundation soils. In addition, the experimental results were compared with those obtained from numerical analysis using a software program. The main conclusions were summarized as follows : 1. The restraint effect on GIT is more outstanding on the lateral displacement than on the vertical one. 2. The only use of SIM has better effect for the restraint of lateral displacement than vertical ogle. 3. The use of both SIM and GIT are required for the restraint of lateral and vertical displacement.
저출력 레이저 조사가 치은섬유아세포의 증식과 염기성 인산분해효소의 활성에 미치는 영향

This study was performed to identify the proliferation and to measure the alteration of alkaline phosphatase activity in human gingival fibroblasts cultured. For the present study, the authors cultured the human gingival fibroblasts oriented from the sound interdental gingiva, and used third passage. It was used methyl $[^3H]$ Thymidine to identify the proliferation in human gingival fibroblasts and used 410nm of the spectrophotometer to measure the alteration of the alkaline phosphatase activity in human gingival fibroblasts. The results were as follows: 1. There was a statistically significant increase in the proliferation of gingival fibroblasts following low level laser irradiation at 24 hour(p<0.05). 2. There was a statistically significant increase in activity of alkaline phosphatase compared to control group at 5-day laser irradiation after in laser irradiation groups(p<0.05). And there was a statistically significant increase in activity of alkaline phosphatase compared to control group at 7-day laser irradiation after in the I-minute laser irradiation group(p<0.05), but there was a statistically significant decrease in activity of alkaline phosphatase compared to 1minute laser irradiation group at 7-day laser irradiation in the 2-minute laser irradiation group after(p<0.05). The results, within the limits of the present experiments, suggest that, the low level laser irradiation accelerates the proliferation of gingival fibroblasts and alters the alkaline phosphatase activity until the restricted period.
