ISDN(Integrated Services Digital Network) can be standardized digital transmission of various voice and data information. In digital transmissions, simultaneous two-way transmission of data signals over two-wire circuits can, in principle, be achieved by the application of hybrid couplers. In a two-wire full-duplex transmission circuit, a transversal filter, a lookup table and multi-RAM(m-RAM) are generally proposed for Echo Canfellation Method(ECM), and the adaptation algorithms are prepared for them. In this paper we describe convergence performance of ECM with sign algorthm, and to find out the result we used computer simulations.
플래쉬형 A/D 변환기를 위한 간단한 구조의 고속 비교기 설계

A Flash A/D converter has many comparators for the high speed conversion operation, and its high performance can be achieved by the comparator with good characteristics. When the comparator is used in Flash A/D converter, the improved characteristics of the comparator are restrained by its size and power consumption. In this paper, a high speed CMOS comparator with simple architecture has been designed and simulated using a standard 1.5[㎛] processing parameter for the Flash A/D converter. The characteristics of the designed comparator are improved by using internal biasing circuits and the CMOS complementary gain stage. This comparator can be operated in a few nano second and have a small size achitecture.

Continuous-time integrated filters, implemented in MOS VLSI technology, have been receiving considerable attention. In this paper, a continuous-time fifth order elliptic low-pass MOSFET-C filter has been designed with a cutoff frequency 3,400Hz. First an active RC filter is designed using cascade method which each block can be tunable. And then the resistors of an active RC network are replaced by a linear resistor using NMOS depletion transistors operated in the triode region. This continuous-time MOSFET filter have simpler structure than switched-capacitor filter, so reduce the chip area. The designed MOSFET-C filter characteristics are simulated by PSPICE program. 최근 MOS 공정기술로 집적화된 연속시간 필터 연구가 주목을 받고 있다. 본 논문에서는 차단주파수 3,400Hz를 갖는 연속시간 5차 타원 저역통과 MOSFET-C 필터를 실현하기 위하여, 먼저 각 블록을 동조할 수 있는 종속연결법으로 능동 RC 필터를 설계하였다. 그리고 능동 RC 회로의 저항들을 triode 영역에서 작동하는 NMOS depletion mode 트랜지스터 선형저항으로 실현하였다. 이러한 연속시간 MOSFET-C 필터는 스윗치드 커패시터 필터에 비하여 구조가 간단하여 칩의 면적을 줄일 수 있다. 설계된 MOSFET-C 필터 특성을 PSPICE 프로그램으로 시뮬레이션 하였다.
