A collective controller for electromagnetic suspension (EMS) system considering the speed characteristics of electromagnets is presented. The speed characteristics of the electromagnet are analyzed by finite element method (FEM) and Neural Network algorithm is used for the controller considering speed. The proposed controller is examined and the dynamic characteristics are compared with those of other controllers. The simulation results show that proposed controller has a better performance at high speed.
훈련가능 정신지체아의 학습동기 유발을 위한 정적강화의 효과

The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of positive reinforcement to induce learning motive for the trainable mentally retarded children and to identify the differential effect of positive reinforcement on motivation between physical learning and cognitive learning. The subjects are 4 children(2 boys and 2 girls) of a special school in Taegu who are capable of following teacher's guidance. The learning tasks are to have gymnastic exercises and to write numbers for 5 mimute every time. And the target behavior is how long they engage in the behavior. The time sampling method is used to observe the target behavior. The observer records the numbers of target behavior every 30 second. The reversal experimental design was used as experimental procedure. In the baseline period the observer recorded the target behavior for 4 days in the natural classroom situation. In the first reinforcement period the subjects were received social and material reinforcers for 8 days. In the reversal period they were not received any reinforcer for 7 days and in the second reinforcement period they were received material and social reinforcers again. The continuous reinforcement schedule was used in the first reinforcement period and the variable ration schedule was used in the second reinforcement period. The results of this study were as follows ; First, the positive reinforcement is effective in inducing learning motive of the trainable mentally retarded children in both physical and cognitive learning. Second, the effect of positive reinforcement is equally effective in physical learning and cognitive learning.

This paper presents a two dimensional analytical method of a permanent Magnet Linear Synchronous Motor(PMLSM) based on the concept of space harmonic The air gap flux densities due to permanent magnets and primary current are calculated separately, and the resultant air gap flux density is obtained by superposition of those, Maxwell's stress tensor is used to calculate thrust and normal force. The static thrutst and normal force according to exciting current and power angle are calculated, and the harmonics of the thrust are analyzed using discrete Fourier transform In order to verify the validity of the proposed analytical method, we make a test facility and compare the analysis results with the experimental ones.
