A route to synthesize porous materials with a hierarchical micro/meso/macroscopic pore system was investigated. Meso/macroporous monolithic silica foams with a large pore size could be fabricated from a mixture of monodispersed PMMA beads and SBA-15, -16 sol solutions. The size, bulk shape and density of the mesoporous monolithic foam could be controlled by the container and the heat treatment temperature. Drying at temperatures higher than 300 °C resulted in an expansion of the SBA silica sol and its solidification to form the mesoporous foams. In contrast, only a dense silica monolith was obtained after full evaporation of the solvent at room temperature without releasing the foam structure in the monolithic body. A large fraction of macroporosity in three dimensions was formed in the monolith body, and the remaining silica walls exhibited uniform mesoporosity. Hydrolytic and phenolic ring-opening of epoxides were performed successfully using chiral (salen)Co-BF3 complex-immobilized catalysts in the packed bed of a continuous flow system. Very high catalytic activity with desirable enantioselectivity was obtained in asymmetric catalysis.
색상 및 거리 영상에서의 얼굴검출 기반 손 제스처 인식

본 논문에서는 얼굴검출을 통한 실시간 피부색 모델링과 거리정보를 결합하여 손 영역을 검출하고 손 움직임에 따른 방향 및 원 제스처 인식을 위한 규칙 기반 인식방법을 제안한다. 기존과는 달리 손 좌표를 사용하는 대신 기존 프레임과 현재 프레임에서의 손 좌표 차이를 이용하여 제스처 구간을 설정하고 자연스러운 제스처 동작에서의 속도변화를 고려할 수 있도록 한다. 실험 데이터는 5명을 대상으로 4방향과 원을 포함하여 총 5가지 제스처를 10회씩 실행하여 획득하였다. 이들 데이터에 대한 인식 실험에서 97%의 인식률을 보였다.

44 strains of shigellae were isolated from 385 samples of suspected feces in Taegu area in 1961. Shigella strains were most frequently isolated in June and July. The isolated strains were classified as follows : Shigella dysenteriae 1 ……… 2 strains 2 ……… 1 3 ……… 1 Sh. flexneri 1b ……… 1 2a ……… 13 3a ……… 4 4a ……… 11 4b ……… 5 5 ……… 2 Sh. boydii 1 ……… 1 Sh. sonnei ……… 3 antibiotic sensitivity tests showed that steains sensitive to erythromycin were most predominant (30 strains) and the number decreased in order of chloremycetin (20), terraycin (16), streptomycin (14), penicillin (9) and aureomycin(2). Most strains were resistant to two or more drugs with most predominant numbers against 4 drugs (12). Comparative studies of tube dilution method and plate method for antibiotic sensitivity test were carried out with isolated shigella strains and found that the plate method was more sensitive that the tube method against penicillin, streptomycin and cholromycin, and the tube method was more sensitive showed paralleled results against aureomycin and terramycin.
