In this paper, an effective algorithm which can detect moving objects from the image sequences and classify an intruder from other moving objects is presented for an implementation of unmanned surveillance system. The proposed algorithm uses a stick figure model for features of the moving object since the stick figure model can be represent the characteristics of the moving objects. The stick figure model is extracted by applying the thining algorithm to the binary difference image between the reference and the image of a moving object. The computer simulation is carried out to analyze the performance of the proposed algorithm. The results show that the algorithm can discriminate a moving person and a moving animal with high degree of reliability.
Agricultural Omics Information Submission to NABIC

NABIC(National Agricultural Biotechnology Information Center) established integrated management system of agricultural omics information to achieve the agricultural bio-information resources of Korea. The amount of bio-information is enormously increasing due to emergence of NGS(Next Generation Sequencing) technology. We has building, maintaining and providing agricultural bio-information databases and information services. Various data type for submission is available such as genome, proteome, transcriptome, metabolome, molecular marker, etc. We issue the submission confirmation which is available for research achievement. Currently, the amount of data submitted on our system is 4.3Tb. We are planning to integrate genome annotation system and NGS analysis system this year. The Agricultural Omics Information Submission System is available through web site(http://nabic.naas.go.kr/submission).

We are also providing various analysis pipelines such as NGS analysis(denovo, rna-seq, reference assembly), Gene annotation, GWAS, marker analysis for breeding ,Microbial community analysis and differential expression profiling analysis using submitted data through web. We have a plan to provide bioinformatics education portal in this year.

In this study, structural stiffness and thermal deformation of thermal nano imprinting machine were evaluated by experimental measurements of deformations due to static press load and hot plate heating. Temperature distribution of the machine structure was measured by using Infrared thermo image camera at every hot plate temperature changes. And thermal deformation of the machine structure to the measured temperature data, was analysed by using ANSYS. The measured stiffness and the calculated deformations revealed that the machine structure fulfills the design requirements, for stiffness and thermal deformation.

<P>Reversible surface segregation of Pt in Pt3Au/C catalysts was accomplished through a heat treatment under a CO or Ar atmosphere, which resulted in surface Pt segregation and reversed segregation, respectively. The Pt-segregated Pt3Au/C exhibited a significantly improved oxygen reduction reaction (ORR) activity (227 mA/mgmetal) compared to that of commercial Pt/C (59 mA/mgmetal). For the Pt-segregated Pt3Au/C, the increased OH-repulsive properties were validated by a CO bulk oxidation analysis and also by density functional theory (DFT) calculations. Interestingly, the DFT calculations revealed that the binding energy for Pt-segregated Pt3Au (111) surfaces was 0.1 eV lower than that for Pt (111) surfaces, which has been previously reported to exhibit the optimum OH binding energy for the ORR. Therefore, the reversible surface segregation is expected to provide a practical way to control the surface states of Pt–Au bimetallic catalysts to enhance ORR activity. In addition, the Pt-segregated Pt3Au/C showed excellent electrochemical stability, as evidenced by its high-performance retention (96.4%) after 10 000 potential cycles, in comparison to that of Pt/C (55.3%).</P><P><B>Graphic Abstract</B> <IMG SRC='http://pubs.acs.org/appl/literatum/publisher/achs/journals/content/jpccck/2013/jpccck.2013.117.issue-18/jp403135k/production/images/medium/jp-2013-03135k_0007.gif'></P><P><A href='http://pubs.acs.org/doi/suppl/10.1021/jp403135k'>ACS Electronic Supporting Info</A></P>
