제조업 분야 에너지절약시설 투자에 대한 에너지 절감효과 분석

본 연구는 2013~2016년 한국신용평가원의 기업자료와 한국에너지관리공단의 에너지 사용량 자료를 사용하여 제조업에서 에너지절약시설에 대한 투자가 에너지 절감량에 미치는 영향을 분위수 회귀모형을 통해 추정하였다. 에너지절약시설에 대한 투자가 에너지 절감에 긍정적으로 작용하리라는 예상에는 큰 이견이 없을 것이나, 이미 일정 수준의 에너지 절감을 달성한 기업의 경우에는 추가적인 시설 투자를 하더라도 에너지 절약 효과가 체감할 수 있다는 점은 아직 국내에서 실증적으로 확인된 바가 없다. 그러므로 본 연구는 절약시설 투자의 수확체감효과를 실증적으로 분석하여 관련 주제를 분야의 학문적 빈틈을 메우자고 한다. 경제학적 결론에 도달하기 위해 조건부 평균을 추정하는 전통적인 회귀모형에서 벗어나, 분위수 회귀모형을 사용하여 에너지 절감량 분위수에 따른 에너지절약시설 투자효과를 차별적으로 추정한다. 추정 결과, 우리나라 제조업 기업들의 에너지 절감량은 기업의 특성이 유사하다면 절감량이 높은 기업군일수록 에너지 절약시설 투자에 대한 영향이 적었으나, 에너지 절감량이 낮은 기업군일수록 투자의 영향이 큰 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 에너지 절감량에 따라 기업에게 차등적인 지원기준을 제시하여 에너지 절약의 노력이 계속될 수 있도록 정책적 에너지절감량 달성목표를 기업별로 설정하는 것이 요구된다. We apply a quantile regression model to shed light on the effect of energy-saving facilities investment on the amount of energy savings in the Korean manufacturing industry based on the 2013~2016 Corporation dataset from KisValue of NICE Investors Service and Energy Consumption Survey Data from Korea Energy Agency. There is little doubt on the role of the investment in efficiently reducing the amount of energy consumption without loss in production. However, to the best of our knowledge, there is no literature of empirical studies about diminishing return on the marginal investment for energy saving in the manufacturing industry. The present study fills the gap by documenting the law of diminishing returns in the field of manufacturing for the investment in energy saving facilities. To achieve the economic purpose, we the effect of the investment by differentiating the group in terms of a quantile of energy savings, instead of resorting to linear models. We find that firms with high energy saving have lower marginal returns of the investment on the facilities, whereas firms with low energy saving tend to show higher marginal returns on those investments. Therefore, it is required to provide a reasonable political system to save energy for the firms in the manufacturing industry by differentiating the level of goals considering the level of energy savings and other variables.

본 논문에서는 무선 센서 네트워크에서 시각 동기화 시 악의적인 노드의 시각 동기 방해 공격에 대처하기 위해 비잔틴 오류 감내 시각 동기화 기법을 제안한다. 제안 기법은 부모 노드 뿐만 아니라 형제 노드로부터 시각 정보 메시지를 수신하여 오류에 대처한다. 시뮬레이션 결과에서 제안 기법은 기존 시각 동기화 기법들에 비하여 시각 오류 발생시 동기 정확도 측면에서 최대 7배 향상된 성능을 보여주었다.

Ferrocene derivative containing two long alkyl chains with hydrophilic carboxamide (1.1'-ferrocene-N-dioctadecyl carboxamide) was synthesized and a monolayer spread on water was investigated by means of surface pressure-area(x-A) isotherm. Phase transition from the expanded to the condensed monolayer was observed at surface areas of below 60 Ų/molecule. Using the Langmuir-Blodgett(LB) method, monolayer assemblies of the ferrocene derivative can be obtained. UV-visible spectra, together with current-voltage characteristics of the LB films, provide evidence for the arrangement of the ferrocene derivative molecule. By aligning hetero-LB films of TCNQ derivative, sensitizer and ferrocene derivative between ITO glass electrode and alumium layer, a molecular device with the structure of Metal/Insulator/Metal (MIM) was constructed. A photocurrent with fast response time was generated by irradiation of the MIM device with a 340㎚ monochromatic light.
Continuous Water Toxicity Monitoring Using Immobilized Photobacterium phosphoreum

Water toxicity monitoring based on the continuous cultivation of Photobacterium phorphoreum is presented. Normally, after 10 days of operation, a dark variant, which emits no light, appears and dominates the population, resulting in a rapid decrease in bioluminescence. Therefore, to overcome this problem, a fluidized-bed reactor is used in which alginate-immobilized cells are grown and leaking cells are continuously released into the effluent Experimental results revealed that the dominance of dark variants was suppressed inside the immobilized beads, thereby mitigating the rapid loss of bioluminescence. Plus, a high dilution rate (1.2 h$\^$-1/) prevented the occurrence of other microbial contamination in the reactor The concentration and bioluminescence of the released cells were sufficient to measure the water toxicity for more than 4 weeks.

Introduction: Bone defects in the jaw are frequently observed after odontogenic cyst enucleation. The success of bone healing appears to be related to the size of the bone defect, the anatomical location, the patient’s age and other parameters. The use of bone grafting material is dependent on the operator’s preference. No evidence-based definite treatment protocol has been established. This study evaluated the effect of a bone graft into the defect after odontogenic cyst enucleation. Materials and Methods: A total of 55 patients, who had been treated for an odontogenic cyst with cyst enucleation from 2000 to 2009 at the department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Samsung Medical Center, were included in this study. Patients who were followed-up for more than 1 year were included. Two groups were defined according to the bone graft (with or without a bone graft) after cyst enucleation. The differences in the healing periods and patterns of bone healing were compared clinically and radiologically. The postoperative 1 year radiographs were analyzed for bone healing and density. Statistical analysis was performed using a Pearson chi square test and Wilcoxon rank-sum test. Results: More infection signs were observed in the bone graft group than in the other group, but there was no statistically significant difference. Radiographically, there was also no significant difference in the size of the radiolucent lesions between the two groups. Conclusion: There was no significant difference in healing between the groups with a bone graft and without bone graft after cyst enucleation.

In many industrial processes and operations, such as power plants, petrochemical industries and ships, shell and tube heat exchangers are widely used and probably applicable for a wide range of operating temperatures. The main purpose of a heat exchanger is to transfer heat between two or more medium with temperature differences. Heat exchangers are highly nonlinear, time-varying and show time lag behavior during operation. The temperature control of such processes has been challenging for control engineers and a variety of forms of PID controllers have been proposed to guarantee better performance. In this paper, a scheme to control the outlet temperature of a shell and tube heat exchanger system that combines the PID controller with feedforward control and anti-windup techniques is presented. A genetic algorithm is used to tune the parameters of the PID controller with anti-windup and the feedforward controller by minimizing the IAE (Integral of Absolute Error). Simulation works are performed to study the performance of the proposed method when applied to the process.
