      • 쐐기형 레일클램프의 초기압착력 발휘를 위한 중추무게에 관한 연구

        The wedge type rail clamp has the operating mechanism: First, the jaw pad clamps a rail with small clamping force. Next as the wind speed increases, the clamping force of the jaw pad is increased by the wedge. In order to design the wedge type rail clamp, we need to determine the proper wedge angle to minimize the sliding distance of a roller and the proper clamping angle of a locker to generate the initial clamping force of a jaw pad. The researches for the proper wedge angle have conducted, and in this study we conducted the investigation to determine the proper clamping angle of a locker in the rail clamp with wedge angle of 10˚. Because the initial clamping force of the jaw pad was determined by the clamping angle of the locker, in order to carry out the clamping force of a jaw pad, we measured the locking force applied to a locker with respect to the clamping angle of a locker, such as 3°, 4°, 5°, 6° using a pressure gauge, and compared the results with the FEA results.

      • 쐐기형 레일클램프에서 조의 회전을 방지하기 위한 적정 쐐기각에 대한 연구

        Recently many countries have concentrated their effort on the port automation, in order to be the Hub-port, that the ULCS (Ultra Large Container Ship) could come alongside the quay in their region. As the magnitude of the container ship increases, that of the container crane (used in quay) increases from 50ton-class to 61ton-class more and more. The wind velocity criteria to design the structures used in the port was upgraded from 30m/s to 40m/s due to change of the weather condition. When we design wedge type rail clamp which can protect container crane from sudden wind blast with constant clamping force regardless of the operating period, it is important to determine the angle of wedge within proper range. In this study we designed the wedge angle of the wedge-type rail clamp using the FEA.

        There are many potential dangers around our life, but we are laking in the consciousness of safety because accidents do no happen frequently. If an accidents occurs, an ability to deal with it is so weak that it can be enlarges to a disaster. Therefore it is important to accustom ourselves to manage dangers and this can be realized by traing. In this study, the traditional traing methodologies are compared and analyszed in order to find an efficient traing way for the public. Also, we propose a traing method by using UCC(User Created Contest) which is a growing communication and content tool in the Internet environment nowadays.

        We survey theories and cases on the relationship between real estate bubbles and the eruption of financial crisis. Georgists, who follows the Henry George's view that land speculation is the major force of economic depression, offer variety of mechanism through which real estate bubbles give rise to a financial turmoil. But the cause-effect relation goes to the other way around also. Easy monetary policy prompts banks to increase the credit supply, much of which goes to the real estate sector, resulting in bubbles. Once the bubbles pop out, the financial institutions suffer from huge bad loan. The paper summarizes modern theories that offer a micro foundation of why the commercial banks are prone to be overexposed to the real estate risks.

        <요약문> 본 연구는 토지투기와 그로 인한 고지가, 그리고 고지가가 파생시키는 여러 가지 비효율성에 주목하여 우리가 직면하고 있는 경제위기의 원인을 진단한다. 헨리 조지의 이론적 틀을 이용하는 본 연구는 한국경제의 고금리, 고임금, 고물류 비용의 원인을 추적하여 토지투기가 한국의 고비용-저효율 경제구조의 뿌리에 자리하고 있음을 보인다. 또한 토지투기 문제는 막대한 자본이득의 발생으로 한국경제의 효율성 만이 아니라 공평성도 크게 저해하고 있음도 밝힌다. 본 연구는 토지문제를 단순히 '토지문제'로 만 파악해서는 안된다는 조지주의자들의 시각에 주목하여 한국경제의 효율성과 공평성을 동시에 개선할 수 있는 정책방향으로 토지보유세의 강화를 제안한다. 학문분류기호 : C2100(경제학)

        1990년대 일본계 은행 해외대출의 지역적 집중에 관한 연구

        본 논문의 목적은 1990년대 일본계 은행들이 선진국 시장을 비롯한 해외 대부분의 지역에 서 자금을 회수하여 아시아 시장에 집중 투입하는 '해외대출 포트폴리오 재구성' 행태를 보인 이유를 밝히는 데 있다. 퇴출의 위기에 직면한 금융기관들은 위험한 대출 포트폴리오를 선택하는 경향이 있다는 이론을 활용하여, 우리는 1990년대 초반 일본 국내의 자산시장 거품의 붕괴와 함께 시작된 수익성 악화와 경영위기가 일본 은행들로 하여금 높은 위험을 수반하는 '해외대출의 지역적 집중'을 추구하게 만들었다는 가설을 세웠다. 일본계 은행 해외대출의 지역적 집중도를 나타내는 허핀달 지수를 종속변수로 하고 일본의 주가와 은행의 예대마진, 그리고 달러 대비 엔화가치 등을 독립변수로 하여 공적분 분석을 행한 결과, 허핀달 지수는 주가지수(STOCK), 예대마진(MGN) 변수에는 (-)의 영향, 달러 대비 엔화가치(YEN)에는 (+)의 영향을 받는 것으로 나타나 우리의 가설을 지지해 주었다. This paper tries to explain why Japanese banks in 1990s concentrated their overseas lending on Asian region while retreating from other parts of the world. We offer a hypothesis that the financial difficulties associated with deteriorating profits and non performing loans in the midst of harsh recession in 1990s forced the Japanese banks to take high risks by focusing rather than diversifying regional portfolio. Our cointegration analysis shows that Japanese banks' Herfindahl index, which is assumed to reflect the degree of regional concentration of overseas lending, can be explained by the movement of stock price, profit margin, and Yen-Dollar exchange rate. The empirical result tells that the lower stock prices and profit margins are, the higher degree of concentration occurs. The result empirically supports our hypothesis.

      • A Study on the Comparison of wind pressure on the member of Container Crane using Wind tunnel test and CFD

        Because strong wind is one of the few forces that, although considered in container crane design, still cause significant damage, a container crane was tested to investigate wind load characteristic in uniform flows. So, this study measured an external point pressure at the each members of a container crane according to a wind direction and a shape of members in a wind-tunnel test. The result of this test was compared to those of computation fluid dynamics using a CFX 10. The scale of a container crane model for wind tunnel test applied similarity scales to consider the size of the wind tunnel test section and the boundary condition for CFD is like wind tunnel test.

      • Carbachol에 의한 닭 췌조직내 nitric oxide synthase 활성 및 methylated arginine 함량변화

        The role of nitric oxide (NO) in the regulation of exocrine secretion was investigated in chicken pancreatic tissues. Nitric oxide synthase (NOS) in the pancreatic tissues were Ca^2+-dependent form. Treatment of tissue with L-arginine (10 mM) or carbachol (10^-5 M) showed the increase of pancreatic exocrine secretion, but that of D-arginine (10 mM) did not. ^3H-citrulline formation, cyclic GMP level and methyl arginine contents in the homogenates of pancreatic tissues treated with carbachol were not affected. Although the action mechanism of NO in the pancreatic tissues remains unknown, NO apparently participates significantly in the overall control of pancreatic secretory function.

        쌀의 특성요인이 소비자효용에 미치는 영향

        The best way to protect the Korean rice industry when the rice market opens is to improve the quality of domestic rice so as to best serve consumers' preferences. This study uses a logit model to examine the effects of rice attributes on the consumer's utility. The empirical result shows that the texture attribute is the most influential factor in determining an overall quality of rice. The odor also turns out to be a significant factor.

      • 서울시 지하철 역사내 라돈의 농도분포

        The various existing situations like overpopulation, urbanization, industrialization, and heavy traffic volume in the Seoul metropolitan area have led to the air pollution problem, traffic problem, and increase in opportunities of residing underground place. So, recently in Korea, the residents using underground working place have been of great concerns on indoor air pollutants such as HCHO, radon, particulate matter, carbon monoxide. However, the studies on indoor air pollution have been not extensively conducted in Korea. Indoor radon is an odorless, colorless, tasteless, invisible, inert, and naturally occurring radioactive gas. And it has been known as one of the notorious carcinogens. The purpose of this study was to survey the concentration variations of radon in the subway stations located Seoul metropolitan area. Total of 216 subway stations were surveyed by the continuous radon monitors from Mar. 2001 to Jun. 2001. The study showed that average radon levels of concourses in each line were 1.51, 1.45, 1.51, 1.23, 1.28, 1.37, 1.12, 1.28 pCi/L and those of platforms in each line were 2.09, 1.43, 1.37, 1.67, 1.44, 1.54, 1.40, 1.22 pCi/L, respectively. The study results showed that the average radon concentrations were 1.19 pCi/L in outdoor, 1.34 pCi/L in concourse, and 1.52 pCi/L in platform, respectively.
