차세대 통신 시스템에서 공통적으로 요구하는 소형화, 광대역화, 집적화추세에 따라 RF소자는 광대역화, 소형화, 집적화를 향해 발전하고 있으며 안테나 기술도 현재 추세에 발맞추어 소형화, 능동집적화, 광대역화를 통하여 개발 방향을 모색하고 있다. 본고에서는 현재 추세인 소형 안테나, 능동 안테나와 더불어 최근 관심이 집중되고 있는 임펄스 통신에 이용될 수 있는 초광대역 안테나 기술에 대해 소개한다. The technical trends of the next generation wireless communication are miniaturization, broad-band operation, and integration. Thus, in accordance with this trend, RF devices and components are being developed in such way, and same with the antenna. In this paper, technology of small antenna, active antenna, and ultra wideband antenna, which can be applied to impulse communication system, are introduced.

한국자살예방협회에서 2010년 4월 기준 전국 16개 광역시도에 거주하는 만15세 이상 남녀 1,000명을 상대로 자살인식, 스트레스 위험, 자살 관련 경험 실태에 관해 조사하였는데, 이중 자살인식에 관한 질문 10개 문항을 동일하게 사용하여 경찰관들을 상대로 조사하여 그 결과를 일반인의 설문결과와 비교하였다. 경찰관들은 서울청 소속 강력계, 형사계, 한강순찰대 소속이었다. 자살인식에 대한 경찰관과 일반인의 응답을 분석한 결과, t 값은 -.526 이고 95% 신뢰구간에서의 유의확률은 .611로 두 집단의 차는 통계적으로 유의미하지 않은 것으로 나타났다. 그러나, ‘자살에 대해 말해서는 안 된다’, ‘내 가족이 자살한다면 내가 사회적으로 따돌림을 받을 것이다’, ‘자살시도에서 한 번 살아난 사람은 다시 시도할 가능성이 있다’, ‘자살은 개인보다 사회에 그 책임이 있다’라는 질문에 대해 ‘내 생각과 같다’는 응답비율이 50% 이상 차이가 나 일반인의 인식과 경찰관의 인식 사이에 많은 차이가 있음을 보여 주었다. Korean Suicide Prevention Association(KSPA) conducted a research on suicide recognition, stress risk, and suicide related experiences of 1000 people over 15 years of age in 16 major cities of Korea. This study asked 10 of KSPA`s research questions concerning suicide recognition to police officers and compared them with those of ordinary citizens`. Police respondents are working for violence, detective division and Han-river patrol unit of Seoul Metropolitan police agency. The result shows that the difference between two groups was not statistically significant with t-value of -.526 in 95% confidence interval and the significance probability wss .611. However, the differences between the answers to the questions like ``You shouldn`t talk about suicide``, ``I will be socially isolated if one of my family member commits a suicide``, ``Those who survived an suicide attempt are likely to try it again.``, and ``Society rather than an individual is more responsible for the suicide`` were more than 50%, which shows that there is a significant gap between the recognition of the pollice officers` and ordinary citizens`

이 연구는 근거이론의 접근방법을 통하여 경찰조직 내 갈등과정에 대하여 새로운 시각으로 접근하기 위한 시도이다. 근거이론(Grounded Theory)의 접근방법은 개인의 심리.사회적 과정을 심도 있게 이해하는 연구의 틀이다. 이를 위해 2012년 8월 15일~9월 10일까지 12차례에 걸쳐 경찰관 14명을 대상으로 심층면접을 실시하였다. 자료의 분석은 개념화를 통해 새로운 방식으로 재조합하는 코딩방법으로 1) 개방코딩(open coding), 2) 축코딩(axial coding), 3) 선택코딩(selective coding)으로 이루어졌다. 분석결과 축코딩의 패러다임 모형(Paradigm Model)에서 갈등의 과정 및 결과를 범주화하여 48개의 개념, 10개의 하위범주 그리고 7개의 상위범주를 도출하였다. 결과적으로 경찰 조직 내 갈등은 관계갈등, 과제갈등 그리고 과정갈등의 유형으로 구분할 수 있었다. 그리고 갈등의 근본적인 요인은 계급주의와 경찰조직의 특수한 조직문화에서 기인한 것으로 나타났다. 또한, 갈등이 부정적인 요소로 작용하는 이유는 의사소통의 단절에서 비롯되었다. 이에 따라 부적절한 갈등관리는 업무성과를 저해하고, 결과적으로 일반시민에게 제공되는 서비스 질의 저하를 야기할 것으로 추정할 수 있다. 따라서 공식.비공식적 의사소통 수단을 통한 갈등관리 전략을 구축할 것을 제언한다. 이 연구는 과거 양적 연구와 달리, 질적 연구를 통하여 경찰 조직 내 갈등현상에 대한 일련의 과정을 새로운 시각에서 탐색할 수 있다는 장점을 갖고 있다. 그럼에도 이 연구가 경찰조직 전체를 대변할 수 있는 표집이 이루어지지 않은 점은 연구의 한계로 남는다. The purpose of this study is to approach the conflict process in the police in a new way through a grounded theory approach and methodology which can cover deeply understanding psychological process and socialization. Raw data had been collected twelve times through the in-depth interview with fourteen police officers(Aug 15, 2012 ~ Sep 10). Data analysis is a new way of reorganizing coding method through conceptualization, using three different coding from 1)open coding, 2)axial coding , 3)selective coding. In axial coding, the paradigm model that categorized the process and results of the conflict in the police drew 48 concepts, 10 sub-categories, and 7 upper-categories. In a result, the conflict type in the police can be categorized from relation conflict, task conflict, and process conflict. The root cause on the conflict in the police is mainly triggered by classism and specialized organization culture, and the reason why the conflict is one of negative factors is started from communication gap. In this regard, improper conflict management would disturb the performance as to assume that the service quality for the general citizen can be deteriorated. This study can gain competitive advantage to explore a series of the conflict process in a new way through the qualitative method instead of other various quantitative methods. Nevertheless, there is still limited since sampling process has not been done for covering all the police organization.

저자들은 복수를 동반한 간경변증 환자에서 lamotrigine에 의해서 발생한 스테로이드 저항성 TEN에 대해서 고용량의 IVIG로 치료하여 부작용의 발생 없이 신속한 임상적 호전을 경험하였고, 진행된 간경변증 환자에서도 안전하게 사용할 수 있었기에 문헌고찰과 함께 보고하는 바이다. Toxic epidermal necrolysis (TEN) is a very dramatic, life-threatening mucocutaneous drug reaction. TEN is characterized by extensive detachment of the epidermis. A 53-year-old man with advanced liver cirrhosis had been treated with lamotrigine (Lamictal(R)) for a convulsive disorder for 7 months before being admitted to hospital with diffuse erythematous maculopapular lesions with extensive confluence that developed on the neck, chest, back, upper arms and thighs and bled spontaneously. The skin lesions worsened rapidly during the initial period of admission despite systemic steroid treatment. Therefore, we tried treating the TEN with high-dose intravenous immunoglobulin (IVIG; 0.5 g/kg/day for 4 consecutive days). The progression of the epidermal detachment stopped within 3 days of starting the IVIG treatment and re-epithelialization was completed in 5 weeks without significant side effects of IVIG. Here, we report a case of life-threatening TEN treated with high-dose IVIG in a patient with advanced liver cirrhosis. (Korean J Med 77:S1119-S1123, 2009)

Since March 2013, avian influenza H7N9 virus has caused human infections with resulting in an estimated 30% case fatality rate. Although there has been no evidence of sustained human-to-human transmission, effective medical responses and preparedness should be implemented including developing vaccines. Using the hemagglutinin (HA) of A/Anhui/1/2013, a prototype virus recommended for the H7N9 vaccine development by the World Health Organization, we investigated the effects of HA glycosylation on the growth kinetics and immunogenicity of recombinant viruses that generated in the backbone of a 2009 pandemic H1N1 virus. Glycosylation at HA residue increased viral growths both in cultured cells and in fertile chicken eggs whereas deglycosylation at HA residue decreased them all. When HA glycosites were utilized together, the virus exhibited the greatest replication property. In the hemagglutinin inhibition assay using guinea pig antisera raised against each virus. These antisera showed 1.75- to 4-fold increased immunogenicity across all of the tested viruses. Considered all, these results suggest that specific HA mutation can increase potential of a H7N9 vaccine virus by enhancing growth and immune properties.

We report a rare case of a gastric plasmacytoma treated with endoscopic resection and oral thalidomide therapy. A 70-year-old man was admitted to our hospital with indigestion. He had no specific medical history and unremarkable laboratory results. Gastroendoscopic findings revealed a focal, erythematous, flat elevated lesion in the anterior wall of the stomach antrum. A biopsy revealed atypical lymphocytes. Endoscopic submucosal dissection (ESD) with an insulation-tipped knife was performed 45 days after diagnosis. Radiological and hematological evaluations, including a bone marrow biopsy, were performed and showed no involvement of other organs. The patient was diagnosed with extramedullary gastric plasmacytoma. Follow-up gastroendoscopy was performed three times during a 2-year period and showed nonspecific ESD scarring. The patient’s condition was found to be stable.

<P>Nondestructive testing using magnetic field is useful for detection of a crack on ferromagnetic material. The magnetic field distribution has to be obtained for quantitative evaluation of crack direction, size, and shape. Also, a crack can be evaluated by using the inverse problem analysis. However, an analysis method using a dipole model can be used to analyze the magnetic field distribution around a crack at a higher speed than the finite element method (FEM). Therefore, a dipole model simulation can provide useful information which can be used for the inverse problem analysis. However, the magnetic charge per unit area, m, and the permeability, μ, has been treated as constants. Therefore, analyzed results have been different from experimental results in most cases. This paper proposes the improved dipole model simulation method, which assumes that the magnetic charges per unit area exist at the section areas, edge lines and summits of a crack. Also, the magnetic charges per unit area were assumed to depend on the square of the crack depth. The improved method is validated by comparing its results with the experiment results obtained with the use of the magnetic camera.</P>
