이용자 만족도에 영향을 미치는 수변형 생태공원 계획요소 규명 - 경인 아라뱃길 두물머리 생태공원을 대상으로 -

본 연구는 경인 아라뱃길의 수변형 생태공원을 대상으로 이용자 만족도에 영향을 미칠 수 있는 계획요소를 규명하고자 하였다. 수변형 생태공원은 수변공간과 생태공원이 결합된 형태로 새롭게 연구되고 있는 공원의 형태이다. 분석방법으로는 계획요소가 많은 만큼 다중공선성에 대한 문제를 해결하기 위해 전통적인 다중회귀분석이 아닌 PLS회귀분석을 활용하였다. 분석결과, 수변형 생태공원의 이용만족도에 가장 큰 영향을 미치는 계획요소는 사람들간의 교류공간(커뮤니티 공간)(VIP값 : 1.242)인 것으로 나타났다. 또한, 생태공원으로의 접근편리성(1.138), 생태습지의 원래대로의 보전정도(1.108), 수변의 다양한 형태(1.051), 안내시설(1.036), 다양한 동식물 서식환경 제공·보호(1.025), 훼손된 생태계의 재생 및 복원(1.016), 생태공간들간의 접근성(1.007)순으로 VIP값이 1.0이상-1.2미만으로 중요하게 영향을 미치는 변수로 도출되었다. 본 연구의 결과, 향후 수변형 생태공원의 이용자 만족도를 높이기 위해서는 생태적 계획요소의 적절한 활용과 함께 이용자들의 교류 활성화 및 커뮤니티 의식 제고를 위한 공간조성이 중요하며, 생태공원으로의 접근편리성과 안내시설 등과 같은 기본적인 시설 및 정보도 제공되어야함을 시사해주고 있다. The main purpose of this research is to examine planning factors which can be influential to the satisfaction of visitors with a case study of Kyungin Arabetgil Dumulmeori waterfront eco-park. Waterfront ecological park is a new type of park where waterfront area and ecopark are combined. There are many planning factors that would cause multicollinearity. So the research method was selected PLS regression analysis instead of typical multiple regression analysis. According to the result, the most influential factor in the satisfaction of the service users of the waterfront eco-park is community spaces which visitors are able to communicate each other (VIP rate: 1.242). Other important influential variables are as follows: easy to access (1.138), natural integrity condition as an ecological wetland (1.108), various waterfronts (1.051), guide facilities and information boards (1.036), good inhabiting environment for animals and plantsㆍecosystem protection (1.025) regeneration and restoration of the damaged ecosystem (1.016), accessibility between ecological spaces (1.007). Therefore, it is essential to apply ecological planning factors for improving satisfaction of visitors. It is also important to create some spaces to raising community awareness and park users interaction. Moreover those results suggest that it has to provide well presented basic facilities with easy accessibility and good guide information.

<P><B>Abstract</B></P> <P>Sputtered gadolinia-doped ceria (GDC) film was introduced as the cathodic interlayer between an yttria-stabilized zirconia (YSZ) pellet and a Pt cathode in solid oxide fuel cells (SOFCs). The fuel cells with none, 50, 100 and 150nm thick GDC interlayers were fabricated to investigate the effect of the thickness of the GDC interlayer. The performances of the SOFCs with the 100 and 150nm thick GDC interlayers operated at 450°C showed the highest performance. Through electrochemical impedance analysis, it was visualized that the GDC interlayer significantly reduced the faradaic resistance of the SOFC. The degradation of the performance from the increased ohmic resistance by adding the GDC interlayer was negligible. From the topographical images scanned by atomic force microscope, it was observed that the 50nm thick GDC interlayer did not perfectly cover the surface of the YSZ pellet, resulting in incomplete performance enhancement by the sputtered GDC.</P> <P><B>Highlights</B></P> <P> <UL> <LI> Gadolinia-doped ceria was used as a cathodic interlayer in solid oxide fuel cells. </LI> <LI> Sputter was used to deposit gadolinia-doped ceria. </LI> <LI> Gadolinia-doped ceria interlayer improved the electrochemical performance. </LI> <LI> 100nm or thicker gadolinia-doped ceria showed a full functionality as interlayer. </LI> </UL> </P>
Diagnosis and treatment of cystic lung disease

Cystic lung disease (CLD) is a group of lung disorders characterized by the presence of multiple cysts, defined as air-filled lucencies or low-attenuating areas, bordered by a thin wall (usually < 2 mm). The recognition of CLDs has increased with the widespread use of computed tomography. This article addresses the mechanisms of cyst formation and the diagnostic approaches to CLDs. A number of assessment methods that can be used to confirm CLDs are discussed, including high-resolution computed tomography, pathologic approaches, and genetic/ serologic markers, together with treatment modalities, including new therapeutic drugs currently being evaluated. The CLDs covered by this review are lymphan-gioleiomyomatosis, pulmonary Langerhans cell histiocytosis, Birt-Hogg-Dube syndrome, lymphocytic interstitial pneumonia/follicular bronchiolitis, and amyloidosis.
Colossal Absorption of Molecules Inside Single Terahertz Nanoantennas

<P>Molecules have extremely small absorption cross sections in the terahertz range even under resonant conditions, which severely limit their detectability, often requiring tens of milligrams. We demonstrate that nanoantennas tailored for the terahertz range resolves the small molecular cross section problem. The extremely asymmetric electromagnetic environment inside the slot antenna, which finds the electric field being enhanced by thousand times with the magnetic field changed little, forces the molecular cross section to be enhanced by >10<SUP>3</SUP> accompanied by a colossal absorption coefficient of ∼170 000 cm<SUP>–1</SUP>. Tens of nanograms of small molecules such as 1,3,5-trinitroperhydro-1,3,5-triazine (RDX) and lactose drop-cast over an area of 10 mm<SUP>2</SUP>, with only tens of femtograms of molecules inside the single nanoslot, can readily be detected. Recent Advances in Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis

The concept on idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF) pathogenesis has progressed from chronic inflammation to aberrant wounding healing and even more to the current paradigms of a multifactorial and heterogeneous disease process. Despite the growth of clinical trials for IPF, most of the results, including N-acetylcysteine combination, warfarin, and bosentan, were disappointing. On the other hand, there have been a number of important developments; the foremost is the licensing of pirfenidone in Europe and Asia. In this article, we briefly review the recent knowledge of pathogenesis of IPF. We also summarize the recent clinical trials regarding the management of IPF.
