According to the necessity of Age and the introduction of customizing education, the pertinency of operating four major course in the Faculty of Tourism Foreign Language, Taegu polytechnic information college, are reexamined. The purpose of this study develops new special course in the Faculty of Tourism Foreign Language. On the basis of analysis of seven field, Department of Tourism English Language, Department of Tourism Japanese Language, Department of Tourism Chinese Language are leave it undone, but Department of Tourism specified new major, 'Department of hotel & restaurent' and 'Department of Travel & Air'.
제초제(propanil. butachlor) 저항성 잡초 선발 방법에 관한 연구

This study was conducted to develop a simple selection method for herbicide-resistance weeds. Two methods, designated "seedling method" and "stem node method" were employed for screening of barnyardgrass against propanil and butachlor. In the seedling method, shoot and root growth of barnyardgrass were significantly inhibited at quarter of the recommended herbicide rate, while in the stem node method, the similar inhibition was obtained at half of the recommended rate. Thus, it was concluded that the seedling method is more simple and quick method to evaluate response of barnyardgrass to propanil and butachlor compared to stem node method.

This study was to investigate the effects of addition of inorganic salts (KCl, MgCl_(2).6H_(2)O, CaCl_(2), 2H_(2)O) on the change of kimchi components. To this end, kimchi was prepared by adding inorganic salts and fermented at low (6-10℃) and high (20-22℃) temperatures. pH, acidity and pectic substances of kimchi were analyzed. During fermentation, pH, AIS (Alcohol insoluble solid), and HCl soluble pectin (HClSP) were decreased, while acidity and hot water soluble pectin (HWSP) were increased. These changes were more remarkable at high temperature than low temperature. The addition of inorganic salts in kimchi preparation influenced the changes of pH, acidity, HWSP, and HClSP at both low and high temperatures. The changes of pH and acidity were more remarkable in kimchi, prepared with addition of MgCl_(2) .6H_(2)O or CaCl_(2) .2H_(2)O than KCl. The changes of HWSP and HClSP were more marked in kimchi, which was added with KCl than MgCl_(2). 6H_(2)O or CaCl_(2) .2H_(2)O
병원표준화심사의 질 향상 관련 항목에 대한 평가와 개산방안

Background: Korean Hospital Standardization Program(KHSP), as a hospital accreditation program initiated and promoted by Korean Hospital Association since 1981, has played a key role in the hospital quality improvement in structural aspect particularly. Recently, however, KHSP has been critisized by hospitals and health personnels in that it is unpractical to be utilized as an initiative to improve hospital quality. In particular, the section of quality assurance in KHSP, strongly influenced by old version of Hospital accreditation of Joint Commission in U.S.A., has been required to be fundamentally sevised. For design of new criteria in quality assurance section, a survey for evaluation of existing program and collection of opinions for ideal one was conducted. Methods: For a month in 1994, structured questionnaires were administered by mailing to 470 hospital staffs from 200 hospitals, participated in the survey for the 1994 KHSP in each hospital. The total number of respondents was 116. Results: Less than half of the respondents(34.5%) value positively on the impact of current KHSP in general on the quality improvement of their hospitals. Moreover, most responses indicated that KHSP should be reorganized towards more practical and applicable one. Current KHSP criteria for quality activities in hospitals were regarded as a unpractical one which should be basically renewed. For new criteria and standards, most respondents emphasized the importance of applicability of those in real siuations. Conclusion: For the KHSP to be effective, new evaluation criteria for quality activities should be more practical and fully accommodated to hospital situations in reality.
순정도 기준을 사용한 B-spline form parameter 방법의 개선

본 연구는 순정도 기준을 사용한 B-spline form parameter 방법의 개선을 그 내용으로 한다. 이를 위해 순정도를 목적함수로 하며 설계변수는 form parameter들이며 제약조건은 생성된 곡선이 설계자에 의해 주어지는 면적과 도심이 일치하도록 구성하여 최적화하였다. This paper describe Improvement of B-spline form parameter method using fairness criteria. In order to improve established method, objective function is fairness criteria , design variable is form parameter and constraint condition is that area and centroid of created curve accords with initial area and centroid by designer, and optimization progresses.

In order to overcome the limit of conventional orthodontic treatment and reduce orthodontic treatment time, corticotomy technique is used to orthodontic treatment. Corticotomy as osteotomy of the cortical bone is useful to obtain faster movement of teeth, since the main resistance to movement is encountered in the cortical layer. The advantage of the corticotomy are many, through leaving the spongiosa intact, prevents injury of the periodonteum, pocket formation, and devitalizing of a single tooth or of a group of teeth. The nutritional function of the bone to e displaced is maintained through the spongiosa, although the bone exposed. It the corticotomy is performed under adequate selection of indication, it can be selected for effective supplemently surgery under orthognathic surgery and conventional orthodontic treatment.
Application of Hot Start PCR Method in PCR-based Preimplantation Genetic Diagnosis

Purpose: To determine a method to improve the efficacy and accuracy of preimplantation genetic diagnosis (PGD)-polymerase chain reaction (PCR), we compared hot start PCR and conventional multiplex nested PCR. Materials and Methods: This study was performed with single lymphocyte isolated from whole blood samples that were obtained from two couples with osteogenesis imperfecta (OI). We proceeded with conventional multiplex nested PCR and hot start PCR in which essential reaction components were physically removed, and we compared the amplification rate, allele dropout rate and nonspecific products. Afterward, we used selective method for PGD. Results: In the two couples, the respective amplification rate were 93.5% and 80.0% using conventional multiplex nested PCR and 95.5% and 92.0% using hot start PCR. The respective mean allele dropout rates for the two couples were 42.0% and 14.0% with conventional multiplex nested PCR and 36.0% and 6.0% with hot start PCR. Conclusion: The results demonstrate that the hot start PCR procedure provides higher amplification rates and lower allele dropout rate than the conventional method and that it decreased the nonspecific band in multiplex nested PCR. The hot start method is more efficient for analyzing a single blastomere in clinical PGD.
형광 광도법에 의한 뇨 중의 Prifinium Bromide의 미량 분석

A sensitive spectrofluorometric method was developed for the analysis of Prifinium Bromide(PB) in urine. The method is based on the fluorescene behavior of the ion associate between PB and Eosine Y(EY), Erythrosine B(EB), and Rose bengal(RB) in aqueous layer. Optimum conditions for the reaction were investigated. It was possible to analyze PB in the range of 8×10^(-10)∼6.4×10 ^(-9)M/㎖ with EY, 1×10^(-9)∼1.6×10^(-8) M/㎖ with EB and 4×10^(-9)∼3.2×10 ^(-8) M/㎖ with RB. The chemical structures of ion associates were presumed by IR spectroscopy and ^1H-NMR spectroscopy.
