        Die deutsche Jugendbewegung um 1900 und der Appell der Dichter

        Zweifellos wurden die bu¨rgerlichen Jugendlichen von der zeitgema¨ßen Zivilisationskrise samt ihren sozialreformerischen Begleiterscheinungen angespornt; und die geschichtliche Konstellation hat die Jugend ermuntert, eine eigene Bewegung zu gru¨nden, um eine eigene Jugendkultur mit einem autonomen Lebensstil zu organisieren. Da "Sendungsbewußtsein" (Ulrich Aufmuth) wurde ausschließlich von einigen jugendlichen Autoren wahrgenommen und in dei Tat umgesetzt, indem sie in ihrem ku¨nstlerischen, a¨sthetischen Schaffen gegen die als bedru¨ckend erlebte Wirklichkeit so wie ihre Repra¨sentanten protestieren und ihrer krisenbewußten Selbstverantwortlichkeit Ausdruck verleihen, so wie es z.B. bei den literarischen Werken des fin-de-sie`cle der Fall war, in denen das Thema "Jugendliche" ein besonderes Gewichthat. In den oben dargestellten Werken, in denen die schulische Sozialisation und die inhumane Erwachsenenwelt mit ihrer o¨konomischen Gesinnung im Wilhelminischen Zeitalter von den Autoren heftig angeprangert werden, wird der Kampf um das Recht des Individuums auf eigene Erlebnisse und Erfahrungen durch die jugendlichen Protagonisten deutlich zur Sprache gebracht. Die literarischen Werke unter dem Zeichen des "Sendungsbewußtseins" und der "genuinen Scho¨pferkraft" junger Schriftsteller fungieren als Antriebskraft, als Zu¨ndstoff, um die Probleme mit den beschwerlichen Zeitumsta¨nden widerzuspiegeln und zugleich ihren verdeckten Hintergrund bloßzulegen. In diesem Sinne kann man das Fazit ziehen, daß die Idee, jugendliches Leben literarisch zu gestalten und eine literarische Gesellschaftskritik zu entwickeln, gerade durch die Jugendbewegung, ihre pa¨dagogischen reformerischen Stro¨mungen und die daraus entstandene Jugendprotestkultur angeregt und realisiert wurde. So gesehen haben sich die Schriftsteller der Literatur als a¨sthetisches Mittel fu¨r gesellschaftspolitische Zwecke ihrer Zeit bedient: Sie appellieren an das Verlangen nach neuer Identita¨t, nach Selbstfindung in einer diffusen Zeit der Auflo¨sung traditioneller Sicherheiten.^18

        Analysis on Casual Relationship between International Arbitration and Foreign Direct Investment A Comparative Analysis of China, Korea, Japan, Mongolia and United States

        This paper investigated whether the international arbitration can promote FDI or not, using the comparison analysis of empirical data from 2001 to 2012 in China, Korea, Japan, Mongolia and United States. The empirical results showed promoted as International Arbitrations then FDI would be promoted. If GDP, Export, Import and Unemployment increased, then the FDI decreased. On the other hand, FDI, Unemployment, Import increased, International Arbitrations increased too. But the more Export and GDP are the less international arbitration cases. As the growth of continuous increase in the scale of economy and trade, the arbitration system acting as the settlement system to solve commercial transaction disputes is more emphasised. It can futher prompt the develpment of economy and trade & social develoment of related countries and contribute to the growth of economic cooperation.

        Determinants of Economic Growth: A Comparative Analysis of Asian Countries

        This paper investigated how Official Development Assistance (ODA), Foreign Direct Investment (FDI), export, population and raw materials prices affect economic growth in 21 Asian countries. These 21 Asian countries are categorized in to low and middle income based on a Gross National Income (GNI) of USD 3,000 as benchmark. The grouping was used in the Panel Comparative Analysis. Empirical results showed that ODA has more influence on economic growth among the middle-income Asian countries. However, it has little impact on the economic growth of low-income Asian countries. On the other hand, FDI brought positive impact on the economic growth of middle-income Asian countries. However, it did not have an impact on the economic growth of low-income countries. Export brought about more influence on the economic growth of the 21 Asian countries. On the contrary, the population has no impact on economic growth. Raw material prices have positive impact on the economic growth of both the low and middle-income Asian countries. To promote the speedy economic growth in Asia, developed countries should consider the political transparency among developing countries whenever ODA contribution is being made. The developing countries will give a variety of benefits to foreign investor through greenfield investment rather compared to brown-filed one.

      • Expression and Effects of JMJD2A Histone Demethylase in Endometrial Carcinoma

        Previous studies have demonstrated that JMJD2A is a potential oncogene and is overexpressed in human tumors. However, its role in the endometrial carcinoma remains largely unknown. In this study, we discovered that JMJD2A was overexpressed in endometrial carcinoma, using immunohistochemistry, quantitative realtime polymerase chain reaction, and western blotting. Downregulation of JMJD2A led to reduced endometrial carcinoma RL95-2 and ISK cell proliferation, invasion and metastasis as asessed with cell counting kit-8, cell migration and invasive assays. Collectively, our results support that JMJD2A is a promoter of endometrial carcinoma cell proliferation and survival, and is a potential novel drug target.

        아프리카 ODA·FDI·수출의 경제적 효과분석

        This paper examined what determinants boost Africa's economic growth through an empirical analysis by using the panel data of 28 African countries from World Bank for the period 1996~2013. Empirical results showed that export has a positive impact on Africa's economic growth. Foreign Direct Investment, however, did not have a significant impact on Africa's economic growth. Because it is natural resources investments rather than green filed investments. ODA could play a major role in spurring African economic growth. Based on the results of these empirical analysis, developed countries (such as France, Germany, England, America etc.) should try to expand the channels for African countries to export their products to markets of developed countries by making their market more accessible and providing a lot of preferential tariffs to developing countries to promote their economic growth. Moreover, developed countries should also increase their ODA amount so that they can reach their target of 0.7% of GDP.

        Carboxymethyl Flavonoids and A Monoterpene Glucoside from Selaginella moellendorffii

        A new dihydroflavone, 5-carboxymethyl-7,4'-dihydroxyflavonone (1), and its glucoside 5-carboxymethyl-7,4'-dihydroxyflavonone-7-O-β-D-glucopyranoside (2), and one new monoterpene glucoside, (4Z,6E)-2,7-dimethyl-8-hydroxyocta-4,6-dienoic acid 8-O-β-D-glucopyranoside (3), were isolated from the whole plants of Selaginella moellendorffii. Their structures were determined by spectroscopic methods and chemical transformation. Compound 2 was evaluated for the ability to enhance glucose consumption in normal and insulin-resistant L6 muscle cells induced by high concentrations of insulin and glucose. Glucose consumption in insulin-resistant cells (but not in normal cells) was increased 15.2 ± 3.3% (p < 0.01) by compound 2 at a concentration of 0.1 μM in the presence of insulin (1 nM).

      • SIRT7 Exhibits Oncogenic Potential in Human Ovarian Cancer Cells

        Background: Sirtuin7 (SIRT7) is a type of nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide oxidized form (NAD+)-dependent deacetylase and the least understood member of the sirtuins family; it is implicated in various processes, such as aging, DNA damage repair and cell signaling transduction. There is some evidence that SIRT7 may function as a tumor trigger for human malignancy. Here, we aimed to explore the biological function of SIRT7 in ovarian carcinoma cells and its potential mechanism. Materials and Methods: Expression of SIRT7 in ovarian cancer cell lines was detected by western blotting. Transduced cell lines with SIRT7 knockdown or overexpression were constructed. Cell viability, cologenic, apoptosis-associated and motility assays were performed to elucidate the biological function of SIRT7 in ovarian cancer cells. Results: SIRT7 demonstrated a higher level in ovarian cancer cell lines compared with normal cells. On the one hand, down-regulation of SIRT7 significantly reduced ovarian cancer cell growth, repressed colony formation and increased cancer cell apoptosis; on the other hand, up-regulation promoted the migration of cancer cells. Additionally, repression of SIRT7 also induced change in apoptosis-related molecules and subunits of the NF-${\kappa}B$ family. Conclusions: In the present study, our data indicated that SIRT7 might play a role of oncogene in ovarian malignancy and be a potential therapeutic target.

        The complete mitochondrial genome sequence of the little grebe (Tachybaptus ruficollis)

        Podicipediformes comprises one family (Podicipedidae) including 6 genera, 22 species, and the phylogenetic placement of this order was still in debate. In this study, we sequenced the complete mitochondrial genome (mitogenome) of little grebe (Tachybaptus ruficollis) in Podicipediformes, and explored the phylogenetic position of this order with mitogenome sequences of 21 species from ten families in seven orders. The genome was 16,688 bp in length, and contained 37 genes typical to avian mitogenomes and one control region. The gene organization and characters were similar with other two mitogenomes available in Podicipediformes to date. Phylogenetic tree was constructed with Bayesian method based on mitogenome sequences excluding the control regions. The results supported the closest relationship between Podicipediformes and Phoenicopteriformes, and the topology of our tree was generally similar with the conclusions of previous molecular systematic investigations. Our results furtherly proved the validity of mitogenome data in taxonomic and phylogenetic studies.

        Indirect Determination of Cetirizine Hydrochloride by ICP-AES

        Cetirizine hydrochloride reacted with $BiI_4^-$ in an acidic aqueous solution to form precipitate. After centrifugation, the atomic emission intensity of $Bi^{3+}$ contained in the supernatant solution was measured at the characteristic wavelength of 206.170 nm. The difference between the spectral signal intensity of the blank solution and that of the supernatant, ${\Delta}I$, was linearly related to the concentration of cetirizine hydrochloride. As a result, a new inductively coupled plasmaatomic emission spectrometric (ICP-AES) method was developed for the analysis of cetirizine hydrochloride. The linear range was from 27.7 to 184.8 $mg{\cdot}L^{-1}$, with a correlation coefficient (r) of 0.9961 and a detection limit of 9.6 $mg{\cdot}L^{-1}$. This method is simple and accurate, Without using toxic organic solvents, and is feasible for the quality control of cetirizine hydrochloride tablets and capsules.
