최근 전 세계적으로 초소형 정밀 기계 기술에 관한 연구 및 개발이 활발하게 이루어지면서 형상기억합금(Shape Memory Alloy : SMA)을 이용한 초소형 액츄에이터(Micro Actuator)에 관한 관심이 증대되고 있다. 형상기억합금을 액츄에이터에 응용하기 위해서는 동적 특성의 분석이 필수적이지만 지금까지의 연구에서는 형상기억합금의 물질 및 재료적 특성은 많이 보고되고 있으나 동적 특성에 대한 연구는 매우 부족한 실정이다. 본 논문에서는 비저항(resistivity)이 큰 NiTi합금 와이어(wire)를 이용하여 나선형 스프링(helical spring)을 제작하여 디지털 힘 측정기(Digital force gauge)와 적외선 온도센서(Infrared themometer) 그리고 레이저 변위 센서(Laser displacement sensor)를 이용하여 이 NiTi 스프링의 힘의 크기와 반응속도, 온도와 변위를 측정하여 형상기억합금의 동적 특성을 분석하였다. 또한 형상기억합금을 이용하여 차동식 액츄에이터를 제작하여 그 동적 성능을 실험하였다. In the recent years, as the research and the development of micro and precision machinery become active, the interest of micro actuators using SMA(Shape Memory Alloy) has been increased. The dynamic characteristic analysis of SMA is necessary for actuator application and many common researches report the material characteristics of SMA sufficiently. However, the research on dynamic characteristics is very deficient. In this paper, the helical spring are fabricated with NiTi SMA wire of high resistivity. The force, response speed, temperature, and displacement are measured by digital force gauge, infrared thermometer, and laser displacement sensor so that the dynamic characteristics of this SMA is analyzed. Also, bidirectional actuator was fabricated and experimented for its performance.

Five linear fatty acid amides (1-5) of the sanshool class, including two new compounds, were isolated from Zanthoxylum piperitum seeds. Based on combined spectral analyses, the structures of new compounds 4 and 5 were determined to be 2',3'-dihydroxy-α-sanshool and 2',3'- dihydroxy-β-sanshool, respectively. These compounds exhibited weak cytotoxicity in the A-549 (human lung cancer) cell line.

Universal Soil Loss Equation (USLE) has been used to estimate potential long-term soil erosion in the fields. However, the USLE does not estimate sediment yield due to lack of module considering sediment delivery ratio (SDR) for watershed application. For that reason, the Sediment Assessment Tool for Effective Erosion Control (SATEEC) system was developed and applied to compute the sediment yield at watershed scale. However, the R factor of current SATEEC Ver. 2.1 was estimated based on 5-day antecedent rainfall, it is not related with fundamental concept of R factor. To compute R factor accurately, the energy of rainfall strikes should be considered. In this study, the R module in the SATEEC system was enhanced using formulas of Williams, Foster, Cooley, CREAMS which could consider the energy of rainfall strikes. The enhanced SATEEC system ver. 2.2 was applied to the Imha watershed and monthly sediment yield was estimated. As a result of this study, the R2 and NSE values are 0.591 and 0.573 for calibration period, and 0.927 and 0.911 for validation period, respectively. The results demonstrate the enhanced SATEEC System estimates the sediment yield suitably, and it could be used to establish the detailed environmental policy standard using USLE input dataset at watershed scale.
집단미술치료 프로그램이 지역아동센터 아동의 자아존중감과 사회성에 미치는 영향

본 연구의 목적은 지역아동센터 저소득층 아동을 대상으로 집단미술치료 프로그램이 자아존중감과 사회성에 미치는 영향을 살펴보고 이를 통계적 분석을 통해 그 효과성을 검증하고자 하는 것이다. 이러한 목적을 달성하기 위하여 충청북도 C시에 거주하는 지역아동센터 저소득층 초등학교 5,6학년 7명을 대상으로 집단미술치료 프로그램을 실시하고, 자아존중감과 사회성에서 사전·사후검사를 실험집단과 통제집단별로 실시하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 첫째, 자아존중감 척도검사에서 실험집단과 통제집단의 집단간 차이를 분석한 결과 통계적으로 유의한 차이가 나타났다. 둘째, 사회성기술평정 척도검사에서 실험집단과 통제 집단의 집단간 차이를 분석한 결과 통계적으로 유의한 차이가 나타났다. 셋째, 실험집단 아동들의 학교생활화 사전·사후 차이를 분석한 결과 유의한 차이가 나타났다. 이는 집단미술치료 프로그램을 하면서 서로 도와주고 배려하는 모습과 긍정적인 의사 표현들이 증가되는 것을 통해 자아존중감과 사회성이 향상되었다는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 결과에 대해본 연구의 시사점 및 향후 연구방향에 대해 논의하였다. The purposes of this study were to investigate the effects of a group art therapy program on the self-esteem and sociability of children from the lower-income class at local children``s centers and test its effectiveness through statistical analysis. For those purposes, the investigators implemented a group art therapy program with seven fifth and sixth graders from the lower-income class at local children``s centers in C, Chungcheongbuk Province. Both the experiment and control group took a pre- and post-test on self-esteem and sociability. The findings were as follows: first, the study analyzed differences in the self-esteem scale between the experiment and control group and found statistically significant differences between them. Secondly, the study also analyzed differences in the social skill rating between the experiment and control group and found statistically significant differences between them, as well. Finally, the analysis results of pre- and post-test differences in the school drawings of experiment group show significant differences. Those findings indicate that they increased in self-esteem and sociability as they increasingly helped one another, were considerate of each other, and engaged in positive expressions of intention in the group art therapy program. Based on those findings, the study discussed its implications and proposals for future research directions.

Prevention of thermal aggregation of the denatured protein by the group II chaperonin from the aerobic hyperthermophilic crenarchaeon Aeropyrum pernix K1 (ApcpnA) has been investigated. ApcpnA exists as a homo-oligomer in a ring structure, which protects thermal aggregation of the chemically denatured bovine rhodanese at 50 oC. ApcpnA alone is not sufficient for chaperonin activity, but the chaperonin activity is greatly enhanced in the presence of manganese ion and ATP. Compared to the mesophilic chaperonin GroEL/GroES, ApcpnA is more activated at a higher temperature and protects the aggregation-prone unfolded state of the denatured rhodanese from thermal aggregation. Binding of ATP is sufficient for ApcpnA to perform the chaperonin function in vitro, but hydrolysis of ATP is not necessarily required. We propose that utilization of Mn2+ and adenosine nucleotide regardless of ATP hydrolysis may be one of peculiar properties of archaeal chaperonins.
