Objective: This study is conducted to evaluate the effects of anti-HER-2${\times}$anti-CD3 bi-specific antibodies(BsAb) on HER-2/neuover-expressing human colorectal carcinoma cells. Methods: Growth was assessed by MTT assays after exposure of HCT-116 cells to Herceptin, anti-CD3 and BsAb antibodies. Immunocytochemistry was applied to test the HER-2 level of HCT-116. In a nude mouse model, HER-2${\times}$CD3 BsAb was combined with effector cells (peripheral blood lymph cells from normal human being) for observations on in Vivo growth of tumors. Results: Compared with the control group, using effector cells combined with anti-CD3 McAb, Herceptin or HER2${\times}$CD3 BsAb, tumor cell growth in vitro and in vivo was significantly inhibited (P<0.05), most remarkably in the HER2${\times}$CD3 BsAb case. The growth of xenografts with HER2${\times}$CD3 BsAb combined with effector cells was also significantly inhibited when compared with the anti-CD3 McAb or Herceptin groups (P<0.05). Conclusion: HER-2/neu might be a useful target for immunotherapy in colorectal carcinoma, anti-HER2${\times}$anti-CD3 BsAb exerting clear anti-tumor effects.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the difference in physical activity according to the demographic characteristics in Chinese university students by using the international physical activity questionnaire (IPAQ). Data collection was surveyed by targeting in 800 university students in S province, china, and date used in this study 712 copied for the final analysis. All collected data were analysed with descriptive statistics analysis, T-test, and one-way ANOVA by using SPSS. The following were main results. First, there was a significant difference in physical activity by their sex (p=.000), age (22 vs. 19; p=.043, 20; p=.004, 21; p=.005 and 23 vs. 20; p=.045, 21; p=.042, respectively), height (170-179㎝ and 180-189㎝ vs. 150-159㎝; p=.015, p=.020, 160-169㎝; p=.000, p=.005, respectively), weight (60-69㎏ and ≥70㎏ vs. 40-40㎏; p=.015, p=.005, 50-59㎏; p=.008, p=.003, respectively) and leisure life (physical activity vs. internet; p=.000, rest; p=.007, etc; p=.000, respectively), but did not significant difference in physical activity by their which blood type (p=.279). Second, there was a significant difference in physical activity by their gender and intensity (High PA vs. Middel PA; p=.000, Low PA; p=.000, Middel PA vs. Low PA; p=.000 in male and female, respectively). These results confirmed that physical activity depending on th demographic characteristics in chinese university students.

Al/Fe/Co doped ordered mesoporous carbon (OMC) composites have been synthesized by a facile method, and the influence of dopant on the electromagnetic (EM) and microwave absorption properties was investigated in the frequency range of 2–18 GHz. Compared with Fe/Co– OMC composites, the Al–OMC nanocomposite played a great role in adjusting values and frequency dependence of complex permittivity, which gives rise to significant improved microwave absorption and reduced thickness of the corresponding paraffin wax composites. Reflection loss (RL) values less than -5 dB and -10 dB were obtained in the frequency range of 9.2–18 GHz and 10.7–14.7 GHz with a single thickness of 2.00 mm, respectively. Such enhanced EM wave absorption property of the Al–OMC/paraffin wax composite was ascribed to its superior impedance matching characteristic. Thin thickness, broadband absorption microwave absorbers with Al doped OMC nanocomposites were obtained.

Personalized genetic profiling has focused on improving treatment efficacy and predicting risk stratification by identifying mutated genes and selecting targeted agents according to genetic testing. Therefore, we evaluated the role of genetic profiling and tumor mutation burden (TMB) using next-generation sequencing in patients with head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC). The relapse mutation signature (RMS) and chromatin remodeling mutation signature (CRMS) were explored to predict the risk of relapse in patients with HNSC treated with concurrent chemoradiotherapy (CCRT) with platinum-based chemotherapy. Patients in the high RMS and CRMS groups showed significantly shorter relapse-free survival than those in the low RMS and CRMS groups, respectively (p < 0.001 and p = 0.006). Multivariate Cox regression analysis showed that extranodal extension, CCRT response, and three somatic mutation profiles (TMB, RMS, and CRMS) were independent risk predictors for HNSC relapse. The predictive nomogram showed satisfactory performance in predicting relapse-free survival in patients with HNSC treated with CCRT.

A developmentally stunted mutant (dsm1) of Arabidopsis, isolated from an EMS mutant screen, had a pleiotropic phenotype, including repressed germination,retarded growth, delayed flowering, and impaired fertility. Additionally, dsm1 had a lifespan of approximately 160 days, which was more than twice the lifespan of the wild type (Col-0). Fine morphological and anatomical characters, such as the shoot apical meristem, root apical meristem, seed shape, and seed surface, were obviously altered in dsm1. We found that both abscisic acid and zeatin riboside levels were significantly greater in dsm1 than in Col-0 at all stages of development, while the levels of indole-3-acetic acid and gibberellins varied by age. The expressions of some abscisic acid-related genes were higher in dsm1 than in Col-0. These data indicate that DSM1 may play a general role in plant growth and development.

A prototype, double-DSPs controlled Power Conditioning System (PCS) for Super-conducting Magnetic Energy Storage (SMES), is used for experimental research in dynamic simulation test of power system. The function of SMES is to improve the dynamic performance of a singlemachine infinite bus for power system. The experimental results show that the energy transfer of SMES is done almost immediately depending on the system requirement, and SMES is able to restore system stability for short circuit. The control algorithms for the SMES are simple and implementation has required very a little hardware.

Treatment of Pb-Zn smelter wastewater via complexation-ultrafiltration (C-UF) was studied using copolymer of acrylic acid-maleic acid (PMA) as complexant. The complexing reaction kinetics of M (Cd(II), Pb(II) and Zn(II)) with PMA were examined for the first time and the pseudo-first-order model could be employed to simulate the reaction. The effects of the mass ratio of PMA to metal ions (P/M) and pH on the simultaneous removal of Cd(II), Zn(II) and Pb(II) via C-UF were investigated, and the optimized P/M and pH are 10 and 7.0, respectively. Furthermore, the shear stability of PMA-Cd, PMA-Zn and PMA-Pb complexes was investigated, and the corresponding critical shear rates (c), the smallest shear rate at which the complexes begin to dissociate were 1.98×105, 1.81×104 and 1.38×105 s1, respectively. The selective recovery of Cd(II), Zn(II) and Pb(II) from Pb-Zn Smelter wastewater as well as the regeneration of PMA were fulfilled by shear induced dissociation coupled with ultrafiltration (SID-UF) according to the difference of critical shear rates of PMA-M complexes, and the regenerated PMA showed almost the same complexation ability as the original.

The effects of cryogenic minimum quantity lubrication (CMQL) on cutting forces and cutting temperature are analyzed in high speed milling of 300M steel. The influences of cutting parameters on cutting forces and cutting temperature are predicted by analogue simulation. Based on single-factor comparative test, the variation laws of cutting forces F and cutting temperature T with cutting parameters are studied in high speed milling of 300M steel under dry and CMQL conditions. Under the condition of CMQL, the influence of cutting parameters (cutting speed v, feed per tooth fz, cutting depth ap and cutting width ae) on cutting forces and the cutting temperature are analyzed by orthogonal test, and the prediction models of cutting forces and cutting temperature are established. The results show that CMQL condition can effectively reduce cutting forces and cutting temperature in the cutting process. Under the condition of CMQL, the cutting depth on the cutting forces is most significant, and the cutting speed has the greatest influence on the cutting temperature. The prediction model of cutting forces and cutting temperature is established, which can be a valuable reference for actual machining.
A Study on Control Strategy of Electric Power Steering Based on Fuzzy Control

Intelligent Control, a novel stage of automatic control development, is one of the efficient strategies for the system with nonlinear or imprecise model. This paper has applied Fuzzy Control (FC) technology to AC electric power steering (EPS) system for seeking better control strategies. Proceeding with fuzzy logic, fuzzy rule and fuzzy inference, a kind of control diagram of EPS based on fuzzy control system has been presented, which can be used to solve the nonlinear or imprecise problems of electrical machine control. The paper has established the foundation for further applications of FC technology in EPS domains. The FC system is verified to be feasible by simulation and experiment.
