The type of buildings have been diversified and the size of a building has growing according to the development of human society and technology. Un fortunately, high-rise building consume enormous resources and energy not only at their construction stage, but also for their operations and maintenances. Therefore, it is very important to select an efficient plan from the early design stage for reducing resource usages and saving energy. Life Cycle Cost Analysis (LCCA), a method, in which construction costs as well as operation and associated costs are considered, is useful as an economic evaluation method. However, alternative evaluation of building service systems has been a quite difficult work in practice, since important variables for the analysis such as cost data, especially operation cost data were almost inaccessible and a proper way to prepare those data has not been established. In the present work, important analysis variables and cost data for LCCA are prepared and presented, which can be used for designers to carry out an economic evaluation of alternatives for building service systems. It would be possible for a designer to perform an economic evaluation of alternatives and system integration with the process and data proposed in this study. However, for more exact and various evaluation and its practical application, further studies of LCCA with extensive operation cost data are expected and required.

Individual identification is an important part in medicolegal field especially in mass disaster. At July, 27, 1989, KAL KE-803 was crashed on landing at Tripoli International Airport, Liba. The plane was caught in fire and sixty eight Koreans were sacrified. The majority of victims were severely charred and injured. The authors examed all dead bodies and successfully identified all the cases through visual, anthropological, odontological, radiological and pathological methods including fingerprint and blood typing.
Dissection of the Dimerization Modes in the DJ-1 Superfamily

The DJ-1 superfamily (DJ-1/ThiJ/PfpI superfamily) is distributed across all three kingdoms of life. These pro-teins are involved in a highly diverse range of cellular functions, including chaperone and protease activity. DJ-1 proteins usually form dimers or hexamers in vivo and show at least four different binding orientations via distinct interface patches. Abnormal oligomerization of human DJ-1 is related to neurodegenerative disorders including Parkinson’s disease, suggesting important functional roles of quaternary structures. However, the quaternary structures of the DJ-1 superfamily have not been extensively studied. Here, we focus on the diverse oligomerization modes among the DJ-1 superfamily proteins and investigate the functional roles of quaternary structures both computationally and experimentally. The oligomerization modes are classified into 4 types (DJ-1, YhbO, Hsp, and YDR types) depending on the distinct interface patches (I-IV) upon dimerization. A unique, rotated interface via patch I is reported, which may potentially be related to higher order oligomerization. In general, the groups based on sequence similarity are consistent with the quaternary structural classes, but their biochemical functions cannot be directly inferred using sequence information alone. The observed phyletic pattern suggests the dynamic nature of quaternary structures in the course of evolution. The amino acid residues at the interfaces tend to show lower mutation rates than those of non-interfacial surfaces.

최근 네트워크를 이용한 온라인 원격 진료 서비스가 논의 되고 있는 시점에서 원격 진료 서비스에서도 특정 환자에게 맞는 의료 서비스 매칭 서비스에 대한 필요성이 핫 이슈로 대두되고 있다. 따라서 본 논문은 Mobile SmartPhone 환경에서 환자 맞춤형 의료 서비스 지원 시스템을 설계하고 온라인상에서 환자에게 맞는 의료 기관을 매칭하여 특정 환자에게 맞는 최적의 의료 서비스를 제공하는 시스템을 설계 하고자 한다.

농림부와 농촌진흥청의 연구개발 사업은 농업기술을 발전시키는데 중요한 요소로 작용해 왔으나, 최근 들어 산ㆍ학ㆍ관ㆍ연 간의 연계연구의 강화에 따라 연구주체가 확대된 이후로 부청간의 역할분담 등의 문제점이 꾸준히 제기되고 있는 상황이다. 이 논문에서는 부청간 농업 세부기술 분야별 성과를 비교하였다. 그 결과, 부청의 사업들은 연구 분야에 있어서 차별성을 보이지 않았다. 이러한 비교분석을 통하여 도출한 문제점 및 개선방향은 향후 부ㆍ청간의 역할분담, 농업분야 연구개발사업의 활성화, 연구성과 생산성 개선 등에 다양한 정보를 제공할 것이다. Agricultural R&D Programs of the Ministry of Agriculture and Forest and the Rural Development Administration are important for improving agricultural technology in Korea. However, the roles of these two agencies have been overlapped as the research fields and funds are extended through educational-industrial-governmental-institutional cooperation programs. In this study, we analyzed the performances of two agencies. As a result, these programs of these agencies do not show much difference in the research area. A new direction for improving efficiency and solving problems of programs, with a variety of information about the role of two agencies and activation of agricultural R&D programs, will be provided by this performance analyses.
