An investigation of grain size, organic compounds and metal distribution in lakes from Geum river basin (Republic of Korea) was conducted in two years (2014 and 2015). The samples of sediment were collected from the 3 lakes (12 sites). The samples were analyzed the concentration of metals (Pb, Zn, Cu, Cr, Ni, As, Cd, Hg, Al, and Li) and general indices including grain size. Spearman correlation coefficients were determined using general indices and metal concentrations respectively. The organic qualities of sediments were improved in 2015 compared with 2014. The concentrations of metals were lower than Sediment Criteria of Lakes in Korea. The significant Spearman correlation coefficients were presented only sand-clay, clay-water content, COD-TOC, Cu-Ni, Cd-Li, Zn-Li, and Cr-Ni of general and metal parameters in 2014, 2015 and both of two years.

In February 2023, Korean government announced the Special Act which includes raising the floor area ratio, changing land use, and allowing the number of households to increase. However, Bundang New Town has established a plan for remodeling by 2025. Therefore, Each Reconstruction and Remodeling scenario was conducted in Bundang New Town, where the two urban space variables of reconstruction and remodeling conflicted. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to provide a comprehensive reference for the discussion of design, landscape, and quantity by index for each scenario of reconstruction and remodeling. To this end, Reconstruction Scenario according to the change of the land use and Remodeling Scenario defining a customized extension apartment model were created. As a result, in the case of reconstruction, it was easy to develop designs open space according to changes in the land use area, and it was advantageous to form a long-term eco-friendly urban structure. However, there were disadvantages such as the large amounts of wastes. On the other hand, in the case of remodeling, it was difficult to solve the landscape problem and the number of parking problems. However, Remodeling has advantages in conservation of indigenous people and communities and waste emissions.
일부 만 30세 이상 성인에서 구강건조증 관련요인 분석

The aim of this study was to analyze factors related to xerostomia in adults aged 30 years and over. The data were analyzed using the t-test, one-way ANOVA and multiple linear regression analysis in the SPSS version 12.0 program. The results were as follow. 1. The respondents who were older than 51 years old, unemployed and had less than 3 million won of average monthly income were more aware of xerostomia (p<0.05). 2. The respondents who answered poor and moderate for their general and oral health and the group with duplicate medication and comorbidity were more aware of xerostomia (p<0.05). 3. The respondents that had problems in chewing, communication, ordinary activities and complained of pain? discomfort and suffered from anxiety depression were more aware of xerostomia (p<0.001). 4. The respondents that answered frequent dryness on their skin, eyes, lips, and nasal mucosa were more aware of xerostomia (p<0.001). 5. Xerostomia showed highest correlation with quality of life (b=0.436) followed by the number of medications (b=0.239), sense of entire body dryness (b=0.200), feeling of hopelessness (b=0.160) and number of oral mucosa disease symptoms (b=0.099) (p<0.05). According to the results of the study, xerostomia may cause deterioration in quality of life. Thus, it is advised to improve the patient management system among dental professions to prevent various complications caused by xerostomia and conduct regular health education on the cause and management method of xerostomia.
유전자 알고리즘을 이용한 최적 RTK 산출 프로그램 개발

우천시 지하수위 상승 및 관거 오접합 등은 강우유발 침투수 및 유입수(Rainfall Derived Infiltration and Inflow, RDII)의 유입을 증가시켜 분류식하수관로 월류수(Separate Sewer Overflows, SSOs)의 발생을 증가시키며, 하수처리시설의 성능을 저하시킨다. 이러한 RDII 문제를 해결하기 위한 하수관로 정비시 모델링을 통한 대상 지역의 실측 RDII 데이터를 기반으로한 RTK 분석이 필요하다. RTK 분석을 위한 SSOAP (Sanitary Sewer Overflow Analysis and Planning) 프로그램은 시행착오법을 이용하여 RTK를 산정하여야 하는 어려움이 존재한다. 이에 따라 본 연구에서는 유전자 알고리즘(Genetic Algorithm)을 이용하여 해당 계측 지점의 최적 RTK를 산정하는 프로그램(RTK Optimization Program, ROP)을 개발하였다. ROP에서는 SSOAP의 평가요소인 강우유입률, 첨두유량 오차율에 시간격별 오차율을 추가함으로써 RDII 예측에 정확성을 더하였다. SSOAP 프로그램과 ROP의 오차율은 2.66%으로 유효성을 검증하였다. Rising levels of underground water and inappropriate pipe alignment during rainy weather have led to a rise in rainfall-derived infiltration and inflow (RDII), increasing incidences of separate sewer overflows (SSOs) and reducing the efficiency of sewage treatment systems. RTK analysis based on measured RDII data of the target area through computer modeling is essential when maintaining sewer pipes in order to address this RDII problem. In the Sanitary Sewer Overflow Analysis and Planning (SSOAP) program used for RTK analysis, calculating RTK using a trial and error method is a bit challenging. Accordingly, this study introduces a program to calculate the optimal RTK at the measurement point using a genetic algorithm. In ROP, accuracy was added to the RDII prediction mechanism by incorporating error rates based on time intervals into the evaluation factors of SSOAP, namely rainfall inflow rate and peak flow error rate. The error rate for the SSOAP program and ROP was validated as 2.66%.
