        청장년에서 관찰된 관상동맥의 비죽종성 석회화와 동맥류 : 부검증례보고

        Coronary artery calcification(CAC) is found frequently in the atheromatous plaques. CAC is known to have increased frequency above 40 years. CAC without evidence of atherosclerosis in young adults is quite rare, however, CAC combined with aneurysms in young adults have been infrequently reported in patients with a past history of a Kawasaki disease in child. We report an autopsy case showing CAC and aneurysm in the absence of macroscopically identified atherosclerotic lesions in a healthy 23-year-old man. The autopsy examination revealed aneurysmal dilatation of the right coronary artery, which was connected with calcified lesion. A calcified lesion of the left anterior descending coronary artery was aslo noted. Microscopically, aneurysmal wall was non-specific except for hyalinized wall and foci of calcification. A striking histologic finding of calcified mass was ring calcification along the wall of the coronary artery. Antecedent Kawasaki disease in the past was suggestive as other reports.

        본 논문은 W3C의 웹 콘텐츠 접근성 지침, 미국 재활법 508조의 지침과 한국의 한국형 웹 콘텐츠 접근성 지침에 대해 연구하였다. 모든 웹 사용자들이 본 논문의 연구결과를 웹 사이트를 이용함에 있어 활용한다면 사용의 편리성 지침에 큰 의미를 갖는다고 할 수 있다. We did research the W3C's Web Contents Accessibility Guidelines, the United States Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act and Korean Web Content Accessibility Guidelines in this paper. If all web users utilized in usability web sites the research result of this paper, you can have great significance for the convenience of use.

        대동맥 박리에 의한 우심방 심근경색 부검례 보고

        Aortic dissection may be considered the result of a discrepancy between the strength of the aortic wall and the intramural pressure. And factors that predispose to aortic dissection may include systemic hypertension, cystic medial necrosis, Marfan's syndrome, atherosclerosis, disease of aortic valve, pregnancy, giant cell arteritis, hyperthyroidism, and blunt chest trauma. A few of aortic dissection may extend retrograde toward the aortic valve and involve the coronary arteries. Coronary artery occlusions due to mural dissection are an uncommon but well documented cause of myocardial infarction. Although rare, extramural hematoma compressing the coronary artery is another cause of myocardial infarction. At autopsy of 43 years old male who had no critical external wound, pericardial sac was distended and contained 400ml of dark red and clotted blood. Examination of the aorta revealed only minute atherosclerosis, intact aortic valve, and patent coronary ostia. 0.5cm sized aortic rupture was noted at the 3.5cm distal to the aortic valve. DeBakey type Ⅱ aortic dissection was found to involve the ascending aorta and brachiocephalic trunk. Three intimal tears were 1.5cm, 8cm, 11.5cm distal to the aortic valve and two false lumens which had intact area between them extended 3.5cm distal to the third intimal tear and proximally in a retrograde fashion to the aortic root. Microscopically, sections of aorta showed relatively intact arrangement of smooth muscle and elastic fibers, except mild vascular ectasia and scattered several foci of the small sized aggregation of foamy histiocytes, and there was no evidence of cystic medial degeneration in aorta. Sections of both coronary arteries did not show mural dissection or atherosclerosis. Sections of right atrium and sinus node showed inflammatory reaction, extensive replacement of myocardium by active fibrous tissue consistent with infarction. There was no histologic evidence of myocardial infarction in the walls of other chambers or septum of the heart. We believe that extramural compression of the artery to sinus node by the dissecting hematoma was the cause of myocardial infarction involving the right atrium and the sinus node.

      • AUTO CAD를 이용한 NC선반작업의 공구경로 검증을 위한 교육용 프로그램 개발

        Using AUTO LISP, an educational program for checking tool paths for NC turning operation has been developed under the widely used AUTO CAD environment. This program enables the NC class to give students chances for visual experience for tool path checking on a desk-top PC although the class can not afford to provide the highly expensive NC machines. The program is equipped with the ability to convert the CAD data to NC data even though it is not fully developed at the present state. A general purpose tool path checking program is expected possible for other machining jobs than the turning operation on the same basis of this study.

        Cytochrome c oxidase (complex Ⅳ) was isolated from bovine heart mitochondrion. The spectra of isolated cytochrome c oxidase which was considered to be oxidized showed absorption bands at 598nm and 421nm in the oxidized form and at 604nm and 443nm in the reduced form. The activity of cytochrome c oxidase measured by the redox system of ferrocytochrome c-oxygen was not affected by NH₄OH and ethylenediamine. It was, however, found that 2-mercaptoethanol and potassium cyanide inhibited its reactivity respectively.

        Injury is generally defined as morphological changes due to physical or chemical stress, inflammatory or repair process, or secondary events of the other disease. In the nontraumatic injuries of the lung, direct physical effects to the lung such as contusion or rupture of the lung must be excluded. So, the types of nontraumatic injuries of lung are all pathologic changes of lung except for congenital anomalies; infectious of inflammatory disease, aspiration induced injuries, environmental or occupational lung disease, postoperative pulmonary changes, poison or drug induced toxic injuries, radiation injury, etc ······.

        Cytochrome ?? was separated from the mitochondrion of bovine heart. The spectrum of the cytochrome was that of oxidized one and reduced one was produced on reducing it with sodium hydrosulfite. The reduced cytochrome b? showed its absorption bands of alpha, beta and gamma. A surfactant Triton X-100 facilitated the isolation of the cytochrome from the mitochodrion.

      • 鐵筋 콘크리트 有孔보의 擧動에 관한 실험적 연구

        Openings through beams are required for the passage of utility ducts and pipes, and they are frequently encountered in the design of modern buildings. They are particularly important in multistory buildings where the use of openings in beams can mean lower story heights, leading in turn to a multiplicity of savings. Therefore, the designers are often faced with the necessity of providing adequate openings in the buildings. However, provision of openings may cause problems of excessive cracking and deflection, and may severely affect the strength of a beam. An experimental investigation is carried out on ten reinforced concrete beams with rectangular openings. The size of opening and it's location are considered as major variables. The specimens were tested under two point loading. Loads were usually applied in steps of 0.5 ton up to failure to observe the crack initiation and propagation, initial diagonal cracking midspan deflection, concrete strain and reinforcement strain.

        Zone refining에 의한 고순도 Cu 제조에 관한 연구

        The refining efficiency of high-purity Cu was investigated prepared by zone refining, with respect to travel rate, distribution coefficient, number of pass and zone length. Especially, to investigate refining efficiency with respect to zone length, experimental and computer simulation results were compared. The composition of the refined high-purity Cu was analyzed by GDOS (Glow Discharge Optical Spectroscopy) and GDMS (Glow Discharge Mass Spectrometer). The composition profiles of each segment at the given condition were compared with the results of micro hardness profiles. The results showed that the refining efficiency was inversely proportional to the travel rate, while it was proportional to the number of pass. The travel rate was more effective than the number of pass to enhance the refining efficiency in zone refining process. Impurities whose distribution coefficients are below 0.5 were removed efficiently. The effectively refined region increased with decreasing the zone length from 45 mm to 30 mm. Especially, the element S, which is known to be hardly removed by zone refining, could be removed to a level of under 0.1 ppm over the 60% region at 1 mm/min. (Received July 22, 2004)
