        복합처리 (Carburized/CrN Coating)로 표면개질된 Ti-6Al-4V 합금의 구조 및 기계적 성질

        In order to improve the low hardness and low wear resistance of Ti-6Al-4V alloy, plasma carburization and CrN coating were carried out. After composite surface treatment, the carburized layer was about 150 ㎛ in depth and CrN coated layer was about 7.5 ㎛ in thickness, respectively. Based on XRD diffraction patterns, preferential growth along (111) direction was observed. The hardness(Hv) was significantly improved up to about 1,960 after plasma carburized/CrN coating while the hardness value of original alloy was 402 before treatment. This result might be associated with TiC carburized layer and CrN coating formation on the surface of Ti-6Al-4V alloy and such high value of hardness dramatically improve the wear resistance. Through the adhesion test of coating, critical load was as high as 32N as compared with the simply processed CrN coating of a 18N.

        In order to improve the low hardness and low wear resistance of Ti-6Al-4V alloy, plasma carburization treatment and CrN film coating was carried out. Effects of the plasma carburization and CrN coating were analyzed and compared with the non-treated alloy by microstructural observation, structure characterization and mechanical property test. The plasma carburization treated alloy formed a carburized layer of about 150㎛ in depth from the surface, where a fine and hard particles of TiC and V_4C_3 were homogeneously dispersed through the layer. CrN thin film thickness was about 7.5㎛ and grew with (111) orientation. Hardness value of about Hv 402 in the matrix was improved as Hv 1600, 1390 by plasma carburization, CrN thin film, respectively. Roughness test is an important method to evaluate the surface treatment effect on the wear resistance. The optimum surface roughness of about 0.063 ㎛ could be obtained by CrN film coated, while, about 0.321 ㎛ and 0.211 ㎛ in the matrix and plasma carburization specimens, respectively.

        In order to improve the surface hardness and fatigue of Ti-6A1-4V alloy, plasma carburization and CrN coating were carried out. After composite surface treatment, the depth of carburized layer was about 150 μm and the thickness of CrN coated layer was about 7.5 pm, respectively. Surface hardness and roughness was significantly improved up to about H_(v)1,960 and 0.045 pm after plasma carburized/CrN coating in comparison with the value hardness and roughness, H_(v), 402 and 0.321 μm of the alloy before surface modification. This result might be associated with the formation of TiC carburized layer and CrN coating on the surface of Ti-6A1-4V alloy. During the scratch test of coating, critical load was as high as 32N as compared with the simply processed CrN coating of a 18N. Such changes of hardness and roughness could be contributed to improving the fatigue life. (Received July 14, 2004)

      • 民俗藝能의 變遷에 관한 考察 : In the Case of Soo-yeong Ya-ryoo 수영야류<水營野遊>의 경우

        This paper has sought to find the process of the development of Soo-yeong Ya-ryoo. In the present writer's opinion, it has been developed in three stages; and each stages has its own social-background with diversed styles and varied amounts of people's interest in it. From the results of this research, the following conclusions were obtained; 1) Soo-yeong district had been a typical farmers community up to 1945. After sixties, however, it began to experience urbanization and as the result, most of agricultural field had been transfered into residential areas and has been under obligation of modernization. 2) In this circumstances, the Ya-ryoo had been destined to meet various changes. Until sixties, it had been fairly well supported and attracted by the villagers as a religious riot, however, this mask flay was getting to be ignored as time passed, and lost its religious role and only marry- making function has been maintained. 3) The Ya-ryoo has experienced many changes including deformation of mask shapes, process of its performance etc., In view of this, the present author sets forth some suggestions for the appropriate means of preservation and restoration of this play. 4) The Soo-yeong Ya-ryoo has been handed down with its origin on farming community up to new suffering from being nearly on the brink of decease, Nevertheless, the ardent aspiration of some natives to restore their own cultural heritage gives hope to rehabiliate it.

        Activated Carbon에 의한 여러 가지 피흡착질의 흡착에 관한 연구

        The paper is to report a result on adsorption of several adsorbates based on activated Carbon. It is shown that the removal rate of activated carbon based on coconut shell is higher than that based on coals, in case of an adsorption of several adsorbates of smaller molecular weight and lower ionization degree. Because activated carbon based on coconut shell has large specific surface area and good developed micropore.

        The Study was intended to suggest the desirable direction in the 7th national curriculum revision through the analysis and comparison of the elementary science textbooks in the 6th & 7th national curriculum. The conclusions of the study with changes of contents and questions of statement of the elementary science textbooks are as follows. First, the portion of inquiry process domain decreased a little but the portion of cognitive domain increased. This cause is a essentially factor in science that will be not separated to two aspects with knowledge and inquiry process. Second, this in increased step by step a observing, defining a operating, a recording, and a transmissing in 6th national curriculum, specially this is worth notice that make rapid increased a prodicting and a infering but decreased a controlling variables and a interpreting data. Third, this is shown that small an index of I.S.I. at analysing question in the 7th national curriculum. This fact is shown that indicated a defect of the elementary science textbooks in the 7th national curriculum.

        The result of studying effect on living thing by several drinking water, it is shown that the water qualities are good in the order of distilled-water, natural-water, purified-water, ground-water and city-water but effect on a living thing is shown relationship of mutual dependence. Therefore when a man will be selected drinking water that is may be desirable to used after confirm to fitness for condition of standard drinking water through preinspection.

        By Studying the relations between natures and life-time of activated carbons based on both coconut shells and brown coals, it is shown that the activated carbon based on brown coals has about 6 times longer life-time in the COD removal rate, and 10 times in the color removal rate that that coconut shells.
