        Improved Recursive-gradient-based Model-free Adaptive Control Algorithm

        In this paper, the improved recursive-gradient-based model-free adaptive control algorithm is investigated where a momentum term is added in the form of parameter’s change at the previous moment. It is that not only the direction but also the amplitude of the gradient descent are considered, the convergence speed of the algorithm is accelerated and therefore the dynamic performance of the system is enhanced. By rigorous mathematical induction, the convergence of output tracking error and the BIBO stability of the closed-loop system are proved. Simulation results demonstrate the effectiveness and feasibility of the proposed algorithm.

      • Review of Dance sport in China : From the Perspective of Strategic Sport Management

        As dance sport has increasingly been becoming a widespread and attractive sport across the world, dance sport, as an official event, was introduced to China in 1986. Since then, dance sport in China has made rapid progress in such aspects as organization, competitions at national and international level, education and training, fitness and marketing. It cannot be denied that, however, there still exist some issues needed to be focused and solved. In this paper, Theoretical framework on strategic sport management is firstly structured based on the natural functions of sport, and then developments of dance sport in China are analyzed according to the theoretical framework in main aspects of educational institutional, community, fitness or recreational market and high performance market, and finally some main issues and inducing reasons are explored in attempt to provide the reference for the healthy development of Chinese dance sport in the future.

        H∞ Control with Multiple Packets Compensation Scheme for T-S Fuzzy Systems Subject to Cyber Attacks

        This paper is concerned with the H∞ controller design problem for a class of network-based nonlinearsystems (NCSs) represented by the Takagi-Sugeno (T-S) fuzzy model. A multiple packets compensation schemeis developed which uses all the data stored in a finite memory buffer to compensate the negative effects of packetdropouts. This model contains the medium access constraint problem as a special case. The time-multiplexingmechanism may be used for such a case so that there are multiple packets arrive at the receiver side. By taking thestochastic cyber attacks into account, the desired controller in terms of linear matrix inequalities (LMIs) is designedby using fuzzy-rule-dependent Lyapunov method. The sufficient condition is obtained which makes the closed-loopsystem be asymptotically mean-square stable and achieve the prescribed H∞ disturbance-rejection-attenuation level. Finally, a mass-spring-damping system is given to show the effectiveness of the algorithm.

        Identification of the Varieties and Analysis on Genetic Relationships of Wild and Cultivated Species of Vaccinium spp. in China Using RAPD Markers

        The genetic relationships among 17 clones of Vaccinium (Vaccinium spp.), including 2 Northeast Chinese wild species and 15 commercial cultivars were evaluated through a Random Amplified Polymorphic DNA(RAPD)analysis of young leaves. The Rapids generated a total of 115 markers with 15 random primers, of which 98.26% were found to be polymorphic. These RAPD markers could successfully separate individuals from the 17 samples and detect variations in the Vaccinium species. Genetic similarity and genetic distance were measured by Nei`s unbiased measurement. Using arithmetic averages (UPGMA) dendrogram, the unweighted pair-group method indicated that 17 samples were classified into three major groups: two groups of each wild species, and one group of 15 cultivars. The 15 cultivars could be clearly assigned into two subgroups of which the only lowbush sample (Blomidon) was clustered in one subgroup and the other 14 cultivars were clustered in one subgroup. The cluster results had some relativity with the pedigree of cultivars. These indicated that the polymorphic RAPD markers developed in this study should have general utility for identification of the varieties and examination of genetic relationships in blueberry.

        H∞ Control for Networked Systems with Random Delays and Packet Dro-pouts

        This paper is concerned with the control problem for a class of systems with random delays and packet dropouts which unavoidably occur during the data transmission in the network. A novel model is developed to describe the random one-step delays and multiple packet dropouts from sensors to controllers and from controllers to actuators by applying four Bernoulli distributed stochastic variables. An observer-based feedback controller is designed via a linear matrix inequality (LMI) approach which guarantees the closed-loop networked system to be exponentially stable in the sense of mean square and also achieves the prescribed H∞ disturbance-rejection-attenuation level. A simulation example shows the effectiveness of the proposed algorithm.

        A potential role for fatty acid biosynthesis genes during molting and cuticle formation in Caenorhabditis elegans

        Caenorhabditis elegans undergoes a developmental molting process that involves a coordinated interplay among diverse intracellular pathways. Here, we investigated the functions of two fatty acid biosynthesis genes; pod-2, encoding acetyl-CoA carboxylase, and fasn-1, encoding fatty acid synthase, in the C. elegans molting process. Although both the pod-2 and fasn-1 genes were expressed at constant levels throughout C. elegans development, knockdown of the proteins encoded by these genes using RNA interference produced severe defects in triglyceride production, molting, and reproduction that were coupled to suppression of NAS-37, a metalloprotease. An assessment of the structure and integrity of the cuticle using a COL-19::GFP marker and Hoechst 33258 staining showed that downregulation of either pod-2 or fasn-1 impaired cuticle formation and disrupted the integrity of the cuticle and the hypodermal membrane.       • H<SUB>∞</SUB> Filtering for T-S Fuzzy Systems with Random Multiple Delays and Packet Dropouts Subject to Sensor Saturations

        This paper focuses on the problem of H∞ filter design for a class of Takagi-Sugeno (T-S) fuzzy network-based systems where the measurement output is subject to the sensor saturations described by sectornonlinearity. The investigated issues caused typically in the wireless communication include the multiple and bounded transmission delays as well as the consecutive packet dropouts whose random nature is governed by Bernoulli distributed random variables. A full-order H∞ filter is designed such that, in the simultaneous presence of the multiple delays and packet dropouts as well as sensor saturations, the filtering error system is asymptotically mean-square stable and satisfies the prescribed H∞ performance index. A sufficient condition for the existence of such a filter is established in terms of solutions to a set of linear matrix inequalities (LMIs). Finally, a numerical example is presented to illustrate the effectiveness and the feasibility of the proposed filtering design method.

        한·중 감정 표현의 개념화 양상

        This paper aims to explore the conceptualization of emotions presented through taste words in both Korean and Chinese from the perspective of cognitive linguistics. Upon close examination of a lot of taste words with the two different cultural backgrounds, the universality and individuality are investigated between Korean and Chinese. First, conceptual metaphors exist in both Korean and Chinese, and emotions can be denoted and presented by the medium of taste words. In both languages, the word ``sweet`` represents the positive or negative emotions, and the words ``bitter`` and ``astringent`` represent the negative emotions. However, there exist differences between them in terms of the scope of the source domain. Chinese only can express negative emotions with the words ``sour`` or ``salty``, and positive or negative emotions with the word ``spicy``. Second, Korean and Chinese show no agreement on the number of source domains which are mapped onto the same target domain. This result stems from the two countries` different ethnic, social, and cultural backgrounds. Third, in expressing emotions Chinese makes more frequent use of taste words than Korean.

        댄스 스포츠가 전 세계적으로 점차 더 널리 퍼지고 인기 있는 종목이 되어감에 따라, 1986년 중국에도 공식행사에 도입되었다. 그때 이래로 중국의 댄스 스포츠는 급성장을 거듭하였는데 이는 조직, 전국적 혹은 국제적 수준의 경쟁, 교육과 훈련, 피트니스 및 마케팅의 분야를 망라한다. 그러나 이와 관련해 숙고해보고 해결해야할 논점이 있는 것도 또한 부인할 수 없는 사실이다. 본 논문에서는, 전략적 스포츠 경영에 관한 이론적 얼개가 스포츠의 자연적인 기능들을 토대로 우선 구성되고, 다음으로 중국의 댄스 스포츠를, 그 이론적 틀에 입각하여, 교육적, 제도적, 커뮤니티, 피트니스 혹은 레크리에이션 시장 및 전문댄스 스포츠 시장의 주요 양상들을 중심으로 분석할 것이다. 끝으로 기타 주용 쟁점들과 원인들을 탐구하여 향후 중국의 댄스스포츠의 건강한 발전에 대한 제언을 제공하고자 한다.
