      • Ca-alginate로 고정한 녹조류 Chlorella pyrenoidosa에 의한 구리의 생물 흡착시 경쟁 간섭의 영향

        Batch experiments were carried out to asses the coexistence effect of lead and cadmium ions on the biosorption of copper ions by Chlorella pyrenoidosa immobilized with Ca-alginate. The uptake of copper ions was examined for single and binary solutions at different initial concentrations. The experimental results showed that the biosorption equilibrium was reached within 1 hour and the adsorption capacity of copper increased with increasing initial copper ions concentration in solution. The biosorption capacity of copper was found to be adversely affected by the presence of lead or cadmium ions in the binary solution, although decrease of the biosorption capacity in the presence of cadmium was less than in the presence of lead. The equilibrium data on the single and binary metal biosorption were fitted to two isotherm models: Langmuir and Freundlich; the Langmuir isotherm gave the better fit for the equilibrium data.

      • 운동 행위 변화 단계별 중재 프로그램이 비만 청소년의 비만도, 혈액성분, 건강 체력, 자아존중감에 미치는 영향

        The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of stage based exercise program on obesity index, blood components, health- related physical fitness and self-esteem in obese juveniles. Obese students of 24 subjects in the middle school in Pocheon-city were recruited; 16 subjects were in the preparation stage and 8 subjects were in the action stage. The pre-post test design was used and data were collected during 12 weeks. The results obtained from this study were as follows : 1. After 12 weeks of the stage based exercise program, total cholesterol, triglycerides were significantly decreased(p<.05). And, there was favorable change in high-density lipoprotein cholesterol after 12 weeks of exercise program but there was no statistical significance. 2. After 12 weeks of the stage based exercise program, the improvements of percent body fat, grip strength, back strength, flexibility, cardiorespiratory endurance were statistical significance (p<.05). And, a favorable change in push-up occurred after 12 weeks of exercise program but there was not statistical significance. 3. After 12 weeks of the stage based exercise program, self- esteem was significantly increased(p<.05). In conclusion, the stage based exercise program during 12 weeks influenced on obesity index, blood components, health-related physical fitness and self-esteem to the obese juveniles, and it was demonstrated that subjects became more active through the intervention. It is suggested that this program could be effectively used as a exercise program for obese juveniles. KeyWords:stage based exercise program, obese juveniles, health- related physical fitness

      • 친환경 바이오시스템을 이용한 고밀도순환여과

        The wastes and uneaten feeds from farmed fish contained high concentrations of nutrients, such kinds of materials were released to the environment without manage and they increase the pollution of environment. Management methods are required to solve these problems. In present, a lot of methods existed in managing the wastes from recirculating aquacultyure system, the biological filter chamber included submerged biofilter, rotational biological contactor (RBC) and fluidized bed biofilter, etc. In this research, the typical and advanced DynaSand Filters were experimented. The advanced DynaSand Filter was recently modified with fluid mechanics and physical chemistry theories applied to water treatment plants. This advanced filter focuses on improvement of backwashing, oxygen transport, turbidity removal, continuous head loss by detecting wastewater characteristics and automatic the DynaSand Filter operation. The DynaSand Filter operates by removing COD, ammonia, and suspended solids. Those are the major pollutants usually found in aquaculture wastewater. The total volume of the DynaSand Filter was 70 liters, while the working volume in a cycle was 35 liters. In this research, the advanced DynaSand Filter investigated for treating aquaculture showed a removal efficiency in SS, ammonia, T-P, SRP of 71, 84, 85 and 88% on average respectively.

      • 생체활성 Ti-수산화 아파타이트 복합재료의 소결 특성

        Sintering characteristics and mechanical properties of HAP/Ti composites have been investigated with variations of the powder processing method. Ti volume fraction, and sintering temperature. HAP/Ti composite powders were fabricated either by mechanical alloying, or mechanical milling and mixing processes of hydroxylapatite and Ti powders. With complete broadening of X-ray diffraction peaks of HAP/Ti powders by mechanical alloying for 10 hours, it could be suggested that reactions between HAP and Ti occurred during mechanical alloying process. For HAP/Ti composites processed by mechanical milling and sintered at 1100℃ for 4 hours, fracture toughness ??? and MOR decreased with Ti volume fraction in HAP/Ti composites due to the crack propagation along the poorly sintered Ti-rich phases. For HAP/Ti composites fabricated by mechanical alloying and sintered at 1300℃ for 4 hours, fracture toughness and MOR incerased with Ti volume fraction, and ??? of ??????????? and MOR of 50 MPa could be obtained for 80HAP/20Ti composite.

        전신질환에서 구강의 중요성은 의심의 여지가 없다. 악성종양으로 진단된 어린이와 청소년은 구강에 주요증상이 발현되는 경우가 많으므로 치과의사가 최초로 발견할 가능성이 높다. 항암치료의 부작용으로 인한 급성 및 장기적인 구강내 합병은 성장 중인 개체를 파괴하고 환자의 삶의 질에 매우 해로운 영향을 줄 수 있다. 기술 및 의학의 진보는 악성종양의 치료율을 높여 왔으나 구강 및 치아에 생기는 합병으로 인한 삶의 질 저하는 현재까지는 피할 수 없다. 따라서 모든 치과의사는 치아와 구강을 안전하게 치료하고 관리하기 위한 전문적 지식을 갖추어야 한다. The incidence of childhood malignancy in the greatest in the first year of life, with a second peak at 2 to 3 years of age. Acute leukemias, lymphomas, brain tumors, soft tissue tumors, and renal tumors are more common malignacies in children. Early diagnosis and advances in medicine have significantly improved outcomes of treatment resulting in higher survival rate; however, this progress comes at the expense of a higher incidence of adverse side effects because of more aggressive antineoplastic treatment strategies. The oral cavity, a trauma-prone environment, is extremely sensitive to toxicities from antineoplastic agents. The incidence of oral sequalae in children various considerably and ranges 30% and 100%. Oral health care specialists, including pediatric and hospital dentists can support the oncology team by providing basic oral care, implementing oral care protocols, delivering emergency dental treatment, and assisting and/or managing oral complications from cancer therapy. This article covers the considerations in the dental management of pediatric patients undergoing cancer treatment, specifically chemotherapy, radiotherapy, and hematopoietic stem cell transplantation.

        In this study , blood worm was investigated under various experimental conditions to improve the efficiency of biological treatment used for the effluent from aquaculture. To present about availability of quality of water specie the mode of life engineering through relation with mode of life of fresh water species blood worm, habitat. Accordinglym, experimented organic matter exclusion effect change. Blood worm inhabits in water temperature range wide extent, and does activity that is unrelated in light. Form condition is good from pH 5-8 and optimum pH 6-7.5. Dissolved oxygen could inhabit in 1.0 ㎎/L, and has introspection which is strong about ephemeral anaerobic state. As drift of a current is slow, activeness was good. Also, blood worm is considered that had inner filtration institution when blow by their activity and alimentary canal structure. Organic matter form particle organic matter that have food intake mainly appear. The organic matter exclusion amount is COD 2.8 ㎎/L in artificial sewage's occasion, and BOD 2.6 ㎎/L. In the case of aquaculture wastewater, appeared each by 11.55 ㎎/L, and appeared as is small by 5% of the whole organic matter exclusion amount and 30% low each. However, did microorganism exhaust passage indirect orgainc matter exclusion from microbial nutrient supply and interior of the body.

      • 폐주물사의 치환율에 따른 콘크리트의 동결-융해 저항성에 관한 연구

        The durability of concrete incorporating waste foundry sand(WFS) should be studied in order to inquire the feasibility of recycling the WFS by replacing the fine aggregates at concrete. This paper presents on the experimental results of the freeze-thaw resistance at concrete incorporating WFS. The main experimental variables are substitution ratio of WFS into fine aggregate, W/C ratio, and with or without air entrainment. The results are expressed in terms of compressive strength and relative dynamic modules of concrete as follows ; The compressive strength of concrete with WFS increase as the substitution ratio of WFS increase when air entrainment is used. The use of AE is strongly recommended for increasing the compressive strength and the freeze -thaw resistance of concrete incorporating WFS. It is verified that the freeze-thaw resistance of concrete with WFS fairly depends on the water-cement ratio, and it increase as the substitution ratio of WFS increase from 0% to 25% or 50%. Specially, it is improved very much at 50% of W/C as the substitution ratio increase. As a results, the waste foundry sand may be recycled in the concrete by substituting a portion of fine aggregate, from the experimental results on compressive strength and freeze-thaw resistance.

        젊은 성인과 폐경 여성간의 악골 골밀도에 관한 비교 연구

        Objectives : To compare jaw bone density of young adults (control group) and post-menopausal women(experimental group) in periapical and panoramic film. Materials and Methods : The bone mineral density values of lumbar and femur were measured by dual-energy X-ray absorptiometry(DEXA) and T scores of lumbar were obtained. T scores were classified into 3 group (T<-2.5, -2.5≤T<-1, -1≤T). Radiographic densities of alveolar bones were measured from interdental bones of premolar, molar areas in the maxilla and mandible and expressed into copper step wedge thickness by Scion Image□ program. We considered these values of step wedge thickness as bone density of alveolar bone. Panorama mandibular index(PMI) was calculated by the method that the height of the inferior cortex of the mandible was divided by the height from the lower border of the mandible to the superior edge of the mental foramen. Bone density of alveolar bone and PMI were analysed statistically. Results : There were significant differences in bone mineral density of lumbar and femoral neck between control and experimental groups. There were also significant differences in bone density of premolar and molar area of jaw between control and experimental groups by MANOVA test. When considered lumbar T variables, there was only difference in interdental bone density of maxillary molar area between control and experimental group, but there was interaction. Interdental bone density of experimental group was appeared higher in -1 ≤ T group and lower in T<-2.5 group than control group. There was significant difference in PMI between control and experimental groups, but there was also inter action, thus, PMI of experimental group was appeared higher in -1≤T group and lower in T<-2.5 group than control grourp. Conclusion : There were significant differences of alveolar density and cortical bone thickness between young men and post-menopausal women in periapical and panoramic film. These differences were dependent on lumbar T.
