Experimental research was conducted to investigate the characteristics of various CFRP strengthening methods and effective depth of beam. A total of 12 specimens were tested in four point bending after strengthening them with externally bonded CFRP plates. The CFRP plates were bonded without prestress or with prestress levels of CFRP plate strain 0.6%. The non-prestressed specimen without anchor plate failed by separation of the plate from the beam due to premature debonding while the non-prestressed specimen with anchor plate failed by CFRP fracture and showed the significant increase of ductility capacity. In addition, the prestressed specimens failed by CFRP plate rupture. The maximum load and ductility capacity were most significantly increased. And it was founded the increasing ratio of ultimate load as to strengthening methods tends to decrease in case of the increase of effective depth of beam.
6.25전쟁 개전초기 강원지역 전황과 태백중학교 학도병의 참전

6.25전쟁 개전 초의 강원도는 가장 치열한 격전장이었다. 국군의 전력투구에도 북한군의 남진을 저지시키기에는 역부족이었다. 강원도의 학생들은 국군의 열세와 국난을 극복하고자 자발적으로 학도병을 조직하여 전투에 참여하였다. 강원도 내 학교 중에서는 태백중학교에서 가장 많은 학도병이 참전한다. 태백중학교에서 자원한 학도병 127명은 국군 제3사단 학도중대로 편성되어 독자적 활동을 수행한다. 전쟁이 소강상태로 접어들고, 「복교령」이 내려졌음에도 정규군에 편성되어, 특공대 임무를 띠고 휴전 직전까지 강원도의 고지전 등에 참전하여 혁혁한 전공을 세웠다. 한 학교 학생 100여 명 이상이 단체로 자원입대한 사례는 태백중학교가 유일하다고 볼 수 있다. 이것은 당시 학생들의 뜨거운 호국 열의를 보여주는 것이다. 태백중학교 학도병은 애국심의 발로로 조직된 자발적 의군(義軍)이었다. 이들의 애국심은 강원도뿐만 아니라 전국에서 귀감으로 삼을 만하다. At the beginning of the early Korean War, Gangwon Province was the fiercest battlefield. Despite the South Korean military's all-out efforts, it was not enough to stop the North Korean troops from advancing southward. The students of Gangwon-do area voluntarily organized student-soldiers and participated in the battle to overcome the inferiority and national difficulties of the Korean armed forces. Among schools in Gangwon-do did Taebaek Middle School have the largest number of students participating in the war. The 127 students from Taebaek Middle School who volunteered were organized into the infantry company of the 3rd Division of the Korean Armed Forces and carried out their own activities. Although the war went into a lull and the order of returning school was issued, student-soldiers were assigned to the regular army as special forces and participated in the battle in Gangwon Province until right before the ceasefire, consequently showing their distinguished military services. Taebaek Middle School is the only case in which more than 100 students from one school volunteered as a group. This shows the students' enthusiastic patriotism at that time. Taebaek Middle School student-soldiers were the righteous army voluntarily participating by patriotism. Their patriotism deserves to be noted not only in Gangwon Province but throughout the country.
조선의 유람문화 공간으로서 강원지역에 정체(正體)된 장소적 표상 - 지역학에서 역사적 문화원형 찾기의 일례 -

지역에서는 지역학을 통해 문화원형을 발굴하여 대표적 지역문화로 상정하기 위한 연구가 진행되고 있다. 강원학에서도 다양한 주제를 대상으로 강원도에서 파생된 문화의 실체를 찾아내는 연구 성과들이 축적되고 있다. 본 연구는 기존 연구들과 시각을 조금 달리하여 역사적으로 파생된 문화의 실체들이 과연 강원도라는 공간을 어떻게 상징화시켰는가를 주목했다. 강원문화의 형성을 논하는 데 있어 가장 대표적 요소인 자연경관을 대상으로 유행하였던 조선시대 유람문화 속에서 강원도가 획득한 장소적 표상을 고찰하고자 했다. 조선 지식인들 사이에서는 강원도를 유람하고자 하는 열풍이 일었다. 금강산과 관동팔경 등의 수려한 산수명성이 확산되고 찬미되었다. 고려후기부터 조선 전 시기에 걸쳐 많은 지식인이 유람하고, 또 유람하길 소망한 지역이었다. 강원도는 조선의 유람문화 속에서 전국제일의 유람명소로 그 명성을 얻었다. 또한 자연에서 성정을 도야하여 시문 등을 창작하고자 했던 조선 지식인들의 문풍의식 속에서 강원도는 최적의 심미적 창작공간으로서 새로운 장소적 표상을 획득하게 된다. 이러한 강원도의 문화원형은 오늘날 금강산 관광재개 등 남북강원도의 교류협력 전망 속에서 여전히 유용한 문화로 제고 하여 적용할 가치가 있다. Local studies are trying to reveal the identity in order to find cultural archetype. Gangwon local studies are now doing research of studies of cultural archetype. When it comes to discussing formation of culture of Gangwon, the representative element is natural view. This thesis studies how Gangwondo Province acquire images of go sightseeing culture during Joseon Dynasty period. There were fevers of go sightseeing Gangwon-do Province among intelligentsia during the Joseon Dynasty period. Beautiful picturesque scenery in Gangwon-do Province was the talk of the town and was praised. Gangwon-do province is the great region where intelligentsia wish to go and go sightseeing during the period from late Goryeo to Joseon Dynasty. Gangwon-do Province was the attraction of go sightseeing. There were many historical figures marks in the Gangwon-do Province. There are also numerous poetry and prose and pictures of Gangwon-do Province during the Joseon Dynasty period. Gangwon-do Province was spotlighted as landscape of go sight seeing and it also had acquisition of a new model of the space of esthetic creation. The culture of go sightseeing of Joseon Dynasty had a big importance of detailed identity establishment and it is branch of application pending issue in region. Today Gangwon-do province overbearingly promotes the service industry of sightseeing and it also applied to resume sightseeing of Mt. Geumgang. The model of go sightseeing culture can apply to the model of cultural space(Gangwon-do Province) and it had a big value of applying to the cooperation between South and North Gangwon-do Province.

A numerical method based on fast multipole summation scheme is used to calculate hydrodynamic interactions in random suspensions of non-colloidal hard-sphere particles. The calculation is carried out for suspensions of 1,024 particles randomly placed in periodic unit cell to determine hydrodynamic transport properties such as permeability of a viscous flow through porous medium, effective viscosity of suspension, and sedimentation velocity of the suspended particles. The particle volume fraction φ ranges from 0.01 to 0.25. Effect of particle number N on the transport properties was examined through the numerical calculations with N=64-1,024. It is shown that sedimentation velocity increases with N approaching an estimate for infinite N, and the finite N effect is negligible in effective viscosity and permeability problems. The present scheme is quite useful for obtaining a statistically-averaged quantity for random suspensions. As an example, ensemble-averaged velocity when position of one particle is fixed is numerically obtained in sedimentation problem. The numerical results are shown to be in excellent agreement with theoretical prediction.
