In this study, a permanent magnet eddy currents water heater is introduced to generate heat directly from wind energy. The heat generator has a rotor equipped with different permanent magnets and a stator that acts as a conductor. By rotating the rotor, the magnetic field on the stator will begin to change, and then eddy currents will be induced on the stator, which produces heat. The main goal of this study is to measure the power coefficient of this heat generator at different rotational speeds. The heat generator is coupled to an AC motor and the torque and power input of the heat generator are measured at different rotational speeds. On the other hand, different water flows are pumped into the heat generator tubes, and input and output the temperature of water flow is measured to calculate the heat transformation. Regarding the tests conducted in different angular velocities, the power coefficient of the heat generator fluctuates between 96% and 98% in rotational speed from 100 rpm to 300 rpm. [그림 본문 참조]
