      • Effect Evaluation of New Rural Cooperative Medical System on Health Service Utilization

        According to the rural household survey data from five provinces in 2014, using stepwise regression model analysis the impact of new rural cooperative medical system on health service utilization, studies have found that new rural cooperative medical system significantly promoted the utilization of rural residents in basic health care and outpatient services, policy implementation effect is good. And its influence on different groups of medical and health services utilization has significant structural differences, the effect of new rural cooperative medical system on old man, middle and high income, high health routine physical examination is relatively larger, the influence of two weeks sick timely medical treatment significantly contributed to the old man, low income, low rate of healthy people, and the elderly and the low health had significantly increased reasonable growth of hospitalization health service utilization. New rural cooperative medical system indeed protect the basic health care and outpatient health services, to avoid the excessive utilization and waste that caused by the moral hazard and adverse selection. At the same time , continue to ascend the use of hospital medical services, and pay attention to security for the elderly.

      • Research on Multi-Dimensional Index in Cloud Computing System

        Existing works mainly focus on indexes in a single server or server-client structure. Unfortunately, such works fail to provide efficiency since performance bottleneck is introduced. This paper designs a two-layered index structure to prune search space among computing nodes for query processing. The index reduces the number of involved computing nodes while query processing, and improves I/O efficiency inside a single server. The initiation method and maintenance methods are proposed for the index, together with optimization strategies for improving query throuphput. This thesis designs the point query algorithm, the range query algorithm and the kNN query algorithm for cloud systems, including distributed algorithms among computing nodes, and optimization strategies inside a single computing node.

        This study presents a simulation model of a heat pump air conditioning system with a variable capacity compressor and variable speeds fans for electric bus. An experimental sample has been developed in order to check results from the model. Effects on system performance of such working conditions as compressor speed, evaporator fans speeds and the condenser fans speeds have been simulated by means of developed model. The results show that the three speeds can be adjusted simultaneously according to actual working condition so that the AC system can operate under the optimum state which the control objects want to achieve. It would be a good and simple solution to extend the driving ranges of EVs because of the highest efficiency and the lowest energy consumption of AC system.

        Energy-saving Optimization of Frequency-variable Heat Pump Air Conditioning System for Electric Vehicles Based on a Genetic Algorithm

        To alleviate the impact of air conditioning (AC) systems on the overall performance of electric vehicles (EVs) and realize optimal control over the AC system, an optimal energy-saving operating control strategy for AC systems was proposed in this work. The main goal of our approach was to minimize the power consumption under the premise of meeting load demands. The energy-saving optimization problem of AC systems was solved using the improved genetic algorithm (IGA) by establishing a steady-state model of a frequency-variable heat pump AC system. In the proposed IGA, sequential quadratic programming (SQP) was embedded as a local search scheme to enable high convergence rate and solving accuracy, as well as effectively solve the optimization problem of frequency-variable heat pump AC systems. According to optimization results, the energy-saving operation of an AC system can be realized by dynamically adjusting the compressor frequency, indoor-fans frequency, and outdoor-fans frequency according to the actual working conditions of the system. The proposed optimal control method for the frequency-variable heat pump AC system based on the IGA also provided a robust basis for the intelligent control of AC systems. Meanwhile, it would be a potential solution to extend the driving ranges of EVs.

        Bovine adenovirus type 3 virions cannot be rescued in vivo after full-length viral genome transfection in the absence of detectable polypeptide IX

        Bovine adenovirus type 3 (BAdV3) is being used in the development of potential vehicles for gene therapy and vectored vaccine. To that end, a more comprehensive description of BAdV3 biology is essential. In this study, we focused on the role of pIX in BAdV3 virion rescue after full-length BAdV3 genome transfection. Initially, pIX deletion or initiation codon mutation abolished the production of progeny virions, which suggested that pIX was essential for the rescue of BAdV3 containing a full-length genome. Moreover, through transfection of a panel of pIX mutant BAdV3 genomes, we observed that the conserved N-terminus and the putative leucine zipper element (PLZP) were essential for virion rescue, whereas the C-terminus following the coiled-coil domain was non-essential. In addition, swap of the PLZP element and its following region of BAdV3 pIX to corresponding domains of human adenovirus type 5 (HAdV5) did not affect virion production, whereas swap of the entire pIX abolished production of progeny virions. We suggest that failure of the full-length BAdV3 pIX swap might be due to species specificity of its N-terminus region before the PLZP element.

        Metastable equilibrium for the quaternary system containing with lithium+ potassium+magnesium+chloride in aqueous solution at 323K

        The metastable equilibrium of the system contained with lithium, potassium, magnesium, and chloridein aqueous system was investigated at 323 K using an isothermal evaporation method. The isothermal experimentaldata and physicochemical properties, such as density and refractive index of the equilibrated solution, were determined. With the experimental results, the stereo phase diagram, the projected phase diagram, the water content diagram andthe physicochemical properties versus composition diagrams were constructed. The projected phase diagram consistsof three invariant points, seven univariant curves and five crystallization fields corresponding to single salts potassiumchloride (KCl), lithium chloride monohydrate (LiCl·H2O), bischofite (MgCl2·6H2O) and two double salts lithium carnallite(LiCl·MgCl2·7H2O) and potassium carnallite (KCl·MgCl2·6H2O). Salt KCl has the largest crystallization region;it contains almost 95% of the general crystallization field.

        Solution-processed WOx hole injection layer for efficient fluorescent blue organic light-emitting diode

        Solution-processed tungsten oxide (s-WOx) interfacial layer for efficient hole injection in fluorescent blue organic light-emitting diode (OLED) is demonstrated. The OLED using 2-methyl-9,10-bis(naphthalen-2- yl)anthracene (MADN) as emitter shows luminous efficiency of 3.3 cd/A, power efficiency of 2.5 lm/W and external quantum efficiency of 4.6% with Commission Internationale d'Eclairage (CIE) color coordinates of (0.154, 0.102). Using MADN doped 1-4-di-[4-(N,N-diphenyl)amino]styryl-benzene as emitter, luminous efficiency of 10.8 cd/A, power efficiency of 6.4 lm/W and external quantum efficiency of 7.2% with CIE color coordinates of (0.167, 0.283) are achieved. Atomic force microscopy and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy show that s-WOx features superior film morphology and non-stoichiometry with slight oxygen deficiency. Current-voltage characteristics and impedance spectroscopy analysis indicate that s-WOx behaves slightly enhanced hole injection and accordingly contributes to improved device performance in comparison with conventional vacuum thermal evaporation WOx. Our results pave an alternative way for broadeningWOx application with solution process and advancing fluorescent blue OLEDs.

        WISP-1 induced by mechanical stress contributes to fibrosis and hypertrophy of the ligamentum flavum through Hedgehog-Gli1 signaling

        Ongoing chronic fibrosis and hypertrophy of the ligamentum flavum (LF) is an important cause of lumbar spinal canal stenosis (LSCS). Our previous work showed that WNT1-inducible signaling pathway protein 1 (WISP-1) is a critical driver of LF fibrosis. However, the potential mechanism has not been explored. Here, we found that Gli1 was upregulated in hypertrophic LF tissues and required for fibrogenesis in fibroblasts. Moreover, mechanical stretching increased the expression of WISP-1 in LF fibroblasts. Furthermore, WISP-1 induced fibrogenesis in vitro through the Hedgehog-Gli1 pathway. This conclusion was supported by the fact that WISP-1 activated the Hedgehog-Gli1 pathway in LF fibroblasts and that cyclopamine attenuated the effect of WISP-1-induced fibrogenesis. WISP-1 also promoted the transition of fibroblasts into myofibroblasts via the Hedgehog pathway. Importantly, a hypertrophic LF rabbit model induced by mechanical stress also showed pathological changes in fibrosis and elevated expression of WISP-1, Gli1, and α-SMA. Therapeutic administration of cyclopamine reduced collagen expression, fibroblast proliferation, and myofibroblast differentiation and ameliorated fibrosis in the mechanical stress-induced rabbit model. Collectively, our findings show mechanical stress/WISP-1/Hedgehog signaling as a new fibrotic axis contributing to LF hypertrophy and identify Hedgehog signaling as a therapeutic target for the prevention and treatment of LF fibrosis.
