A home network is a typical ubiquitous computing network that consists of various consumer devices and service environments. Home networks are requiring increasingly more complicated services, such as multimedia home theater and the monitoring and controlling of heterogeneous devices. Accordingly, a mutually connecting mechanism is needed among heterogeneous devices and services redundant. The current paper presents a Multimedia Room Bridge Adapter (MRBA) system that is designed to manage heterogeneous devices and support various services. In addition, a hardware and software prototype is implemented based on the proposed architecture.

Agricultural ecosystem biodiversity monitoring and community variation analysis of insects were conducted from 2016 to 2018 in selected conventional and organic farming fields in Goesan district, Chungcheongbuk-do, South Korea. The total number of 1,125 species in 16 orders and 207 families were identified. The numbers of species collected in the locations practicing organic farming were greater than the conventional farming both in the paddy fields (564 vs. 383 species) and the upland fields (471 vs. 365 species). Among them, Hemiptera had the most abundant of species, followed by Diptera, Hymenoptera, Coleoptera and Araneae. We calculated various index values of biodiversity (diversity index H’, richness index R, evenness index J’, dominance index D, and similarity index QS) based on quantitative measurements of species and individuals collected over three years of field monitoring. Variations in biodiversity index values in different agricultural systems show that the positive effect of organic farming is to produce more biodiversity than conventional farming systems. When compared to other index results reported in Korea, Japan and China, the richness index was higher and other index values were at similar levels.

이 논문에서는 전 · 후처리기를 포함하는 고속 궤도차량의 동역학 해석 소프트혜어를 개발하였다. 궤도차량은 차체, 포탑, 마운트, 포신과 로드휠 어셈블리로 구성되어 있다. 궤도는 인장에 대하여 일정한 탄성을 가진다고 가정하여 궤도에 의한 구속력을 직접 구하여 차량의 운동방정식에 외력으로 넣어주는 방법으로 모텔링하였다. 시스탬의 운동방정식은 속도변환기법을 이용하여 조인트 좌표로 유도하였으며, 전 · 후처리기는 visual C++을 이용하여 개발하였다.

Ionic conductivities of PMMA-based polymer blends plasticized with poly (ethylene glycol) methyl ether(PEGMe) complexed with LiCLO4 have been investigated for applications in lithium battery. These solid polymer electrolytes are studied at room temperature using impedance analysis technique and FT-IR. Maximum ionic conductivity at room temperature was measured to be 5.9×10-5 S/cm in the free standing film state for PMMA concentratin of 17% w/w. The ionic conductivity decreases at higher PMMA concentration of 30% w/w, since the nonconducting area according to the phase separation of PMMA increases. The phase separation of PMMA in polymer electrolytes was shown by the absorbance variation of the carbonyl peak of PMMA.

In implementing a digital filter with fixed-point arithemetic, additions may cause overflows to occur. In order to avoid overflows, the input signal may be attenuated suitably so that no overflows occur at any point in the filter. But this results in a low output signal-to-noise ratio. Lp Norm is the theoretical basis for scaling the signal level at different node in a digital filter to avoid overflows. The purpose of this paper is to describe a systematic procedure for scaling wave digital filter to avoid overflow problems while maintaining a signal-to-noise ratio as large as possible. The scaled WDF have an improved signal-to-noise ratio over unscaled WDF without overflow.

The number of databases maintained in the world is increasing rapidly. Many of these databases are huge and are therefore very difficult to manually analyze. To make it feasible to analyze databases, researchers have been developing tools for knowledge discovery in databases. This paper proposed the knowledge discovery system based on rule-based system to efficiently discover knowledge in databases.

To improve the utilization of sea tangle, the processing conditions of extracts, such as kind of additives, particle size of a sample, sample to solvent ratio, extracting temperature and time were studied. Among five extracting methods used for sea tangle extraction, the optimal method was water extraction. The most appropriate particle size of sea tangle powder, extracting temperature and mixing ratio of sea tangle to water were 5 mesh, 60℃ and 1 to 13(w/v), respectively. The basis of solids yield in sea tangle extract, optimal extracting time was about 2 hours. The yield of soluble solids under above-mentioned conditions was 5.1%.
