A traffic island, typical channelization facilities, is widely applied to newly road designs and black spots improvement projects as traffic safety measures. However positive effects of a traffic island for traffic safety have not been reported specifically. Accordingly this study analyzed the accidents reduction effectiveness and economics of installing traffic islands under various roadways and traffic conditions. For this purpose normality test, paired t-test and Wilcoxon signed rank test were applied to this study based on traffic accidents, roadways and traffic environments data for 3 years before and after improvement at 54 intersections. The results showed that most of traffic accidents were reduced significantly after installing traffic islands except when traffic islands were installed in outside of cities and farming regions where use efficiency is low, curve sections with poor visibility, poor alignment sections with acceleration/deceleration lanes, road sections where occurs conflicts frequently due to did not install of acceleration/deceleration lanes, and road sections where cross with single lane road. 교통섬으로 대표되는 도류화 시설은 교통소통과 안전에 크게 기여하면서 신규 도로설계와 교통사고잦은곳 개선사업과 같은 교통안전대책사업에 광범위하게 적용되고 있으나, 다양한 도로환경 조건에서 교통섬 설치로 인한 교통사고 감소 효과 등은 구체적으로 제시되지 못하고 있는 실정이다. 이에 본 연구에서는 전국 54개 교차로를 대상으로 공사 전·후 각 3년간의 교통사고자료와 도로환경 자료를 이용하여 정규성 검정과 대응표본 t-검정, 윌콕슨 부호검정을 실시하여 다양한 도로 환경조건에서 교통섬 설치로 인한 교통사고 감소 효과와 경제성 분석을 실시하였다. 교통섬 설치 이후 대부분의 경우 교통사고가 감소하였으나 교통섬의 이용효율이 낮은 시외곽/농업지역과 운전자의 전방 교차로와 교통섬에 대한 시인성이 불량한 곡선부나 교차로 접근부와 유출부의 도로선형이 꺽인구간, 교통섬 설치시 가감속차로가 병행 설치되지 않아 분․합류되는 교차로간 상충이 있는 경우 및 부도로 차로수가 1차로인 경우에는 교통섬의 잇점을 충분히 살리지 못해 교통사고감소에 미치는 영향이 미미한 것으로 분석되었다.

Marsh calm(Corbicular elatior)with a short-term storage in raw and a law-rate of utilization has been increasing the needs to develop new marsh calm processing products for a temporary mass treatment and long-term distribution, Therefore the processing conditions of marsh calm beverage using proteolytic enzyme hydrolysis were investigated. A partial hydrolysis at 6$0^{\circ}C$ for 1 hour after adding 3% Alcalase as more effective than a hot water extraction to develop taste compounds from the marsh calm. The result of ommission test showed that nucleotides and their related compounds were contributed in the taste of the marsh calm hydrolysates rather than free amino acids. The taste of the hydrolysates was produced by association with these compounds rather than only one compound s the hydrolystes taste differently for the control when one of these compound was omitted. The hydrolysates were fractionated to molecular weight below 500 dalton to eliminate bitter taste and to improve it flavor from the hydrolysates, 0.05% bay leaf was more effective to improve the odor than other herbs.
嬚氣性 固定床 生物反應器에서 담체의 種類에 따른 유기성 폐수의 처리 특성에 관한 연구(Ⅱ)

In an attempt to develope the packing materials, two types of carriers was investigated in wastewater treatment using an anerobic packed bed bioreactor. The followings are the results of this experiment. 1. Soft stone A as a carriers was superior to soft stone B in biogas production and methane content. 2. Soft stone A enhanced the COD removal efficieucy which was 90% above, and stabilized in volatile acid. 3. The slope of methane production with respect to the removal COD was 0.58㎥ CH₄/㎏ COD for soft stone A, and 0.35 for soft stone B. 4. The result of SEM photographs has shown that a lot of microoganisms are was attached in the soft stone A, and enwrapped it. 5. The mass transfer rate of microoganisrns from the liquid phase to the biofilm surface for soft stone A and B is C_(b)=C_(bo) exp(-0.025Θ_(AF)). C_(b)=C_(bo) exp(-0.034Θ_(AF)) respectively. It was recommened that the effective carriers in wastewater treatment using an packed bed bioreactor in this experiment be soft stone A carriers.

Clinical analysis of 51 surgically treated patients with intracranial meningiomas was made in department of neurosurgery of Hanyang University Hospital. The data of the initial surgery extended over a 5-year period from January. 1985 to January 1990. The total removal of tumor was done in 76.5% of patients and the tumor of convexity, parasagittal/falx, ventricular site were more excellent than other site in total removal rate. One patient received post-operative radiotherapy. The follow-up result above Good was 80.4%and convexity, parasagittal/falx, ventricular were more higher than other site in follow-up result. Recurrence rate was 7.7% in totally removed cases, 25% in partially removed cases and the mean duration period of recurrence was 24.2 months. The postoperative mortality rate was 9.8%.
수산 가공부산물 가수분해물에 의한 해산 양식어의 섭식 유인 및 성장에 미치는 효과

This study was conducted to investigate the effects of different dietary enzymatic hydrolysates using squid and mackerel by-product on feed efficiency, growth and chemical composition in Korean rockfish (Sebastes schlegeli) after a eight weeks feeding experiment. Effects on the weight gain and feed efficiency in the enzymatic hydrolysates added groups were very effective. Weight gain were significantly higher in the squid hydrolysates whole added group than in the other groups. Moisture and crude ash contents of muscle were not significantly affected by hydrolysates supplementation in all groups. Crude protein and lipid contents of muscle were increased after eight weeks feeding trial. Amino acid contents of muscle were higher in squid hydrolysates whole added group than in the other groups. Amino acids were not affected by hydrolysates supplementation in all groups. Fatty acid contents of muscle were increased after eight weeks growth trial. Fatty acids were not significantly different in the dietary groups.
