<P>ZnO nanostructures were grown on Si (111) substrates by a hydrothermal method. Prior to growing the ZnO nanostructures, ZnO seed layers with different post-heat temperatures were prepared by a spin-coating process. Then, the ZnO nanostructures were annealed at 500 degrees C for 20 min under an Ar atmosphere. Scanning electron microscopy (SEM), X-ray diffraction (XRD), and photoluminescence (PL) were carried out at room temperature (RT) to investigate the structural and optical properties of the as-grown and annealed ZnO nanostructures. The surface morphologies of the seed layers changed from a smooth surface to a mountain chain-like structure as the post-heating temperatures increased. The as-grown and annealed ZnO nanostructures exhibited a strong (002) diffraction peak. Compared to the as-grown ZnO nanostructures, the annealed ZnO nanostructures exhibited significantly strong enhancement in the PL intensity ratio by almost a factor of 2.</P>

The GaAs epitaxial layers were grown on Si(100) substrates by molecular beam epitaxy(MBE) using the two-step method. The Si(100) substrates were cleaned with different surface cleaning method of vacuum heating, As-beam, and Ga-beam at the substrate temperature of 800℃. Growth temperature and thickness of the GaAs epitaxial layer were 800℃ and 1 ㎛, respectively. The surface structure and epitaxial growth were observed by reflection high-energy electron diffraction(RHEED) and scanning electron microscope(SEM). Just surface structure of the Si(100) substrate cleaned by Ga-beam at 800oC shows double domain (2 × 1). RHEED patterns of the GaAs epitaxial layers grown on Si(100) substrates with cleaning method of vacuum heating, As-beam, and Ga-beam show spot-like, (2 × 4) with spot, and clear (2 × 4). From SEM, it is found that the GaAs epitaxial layers grown on Si(100) substrates with Ga-beam cleaning has a high quality.
중학생의 레크리에이션수업참가가 신체활동의 즐거움과 학교생활만족도에 미치는 영향

The purpose of this research is to analyze how many students feel happy and how they are satisfied with their school life after attending recreational class. The research subjects are the 1st grade students(319 total) attending the B Middle School at B city in Gyonggi Province. The results of this study were as following: First, the pleasure of physical activities and school life satisfaction are improved after recreational class which showed a significant difference. Cooperation and creativeness of the students were improved by the pleasure of physical activities. With a view to school life satisfaction, it was shown that students were satisfied with student-teacher relationship, learning activities and school events. Second, it is shown that the pleasure of physical activities and school life satisfaction have a positive correlation. The higher the pleasure of physical activities students have, the more school life satisfaction students get. Lastly, the pleasure of physical activities has a significant influence on school life satisfaction. Among the factors of the pleasure of physical activities, it showed that students get satisfaction with friend relationships, student-teacher relationship, learning activities and school events as they achieve a higher level of cooperation. Also, it showed that students are satisfied with the learning activities and rules as they are more interested in staying healthy and aesthetic experience.
민속지학적 관점에서 본 중학교 비보이(B-boys)의 학교생활에 대한 탐색

이 연구의 목적은 힙합댄스 동아리 활동을 하는 중학교 비보이의 학교생활을 탐색하는데 있다. 이를 위해 경기도 부천시 B중학교의 힙합댄스 동아리에서 활동하고 있는 비보이 중학생을 연구 참여자로 선정하였고, 참여관찰, 심층면접, 자기보고서 방법을 사용하여 자료를 수집하였으며, 자료의 분석은 내용분석(content analysis)을 사용하였다. 힙합댄스 동아리 활동을 통해 얻게 되는 중학교 비보이들은 개인적인 측면에서는 체력의 향상과 자신감, 협동심, 단결력이 향상되는 모습을 보여주었다. 특히, 학교행사에 참여하면서 자신들의 끼를 발산하는데 매우 적극적이었다. 학교생활에 있어서는 힙합댄스를 즐기는 친구들과 끼리끼리 뭉치는 문화를 형성하고 있었고 학습에 소극적인 모습을 보였다. 그러나 이들은 교사와의 관계와 학습활동 그리고 규칙준수에는 비협조적이고 불안정적인 행동을 보였다. 그러나 힙합댄스 동아리 활동을 통해 체력, 협동심, 자신감등이 성취되어지는 긍정적인 측면을 강화하여 힙합댄스를 청소년들이 건전한 취미활동과 건강유지 차원에서 계속 참여할 수 있도록 학교 체육프로그램이 만들어져야 한다. The purpose of this study is to carry out an in-depth analysis of trip-hop dance in Korean middle schools using an ethnographic approach. A sample of twenty students from B Middle School in Bucheon, Gyeonggi Province was selected. All were members of the school hip-hop dance club. They were observed, given in-depth interviews and filled out questionnaires. Content analysis was used on the collated information. They conclusions derived from the research process are as follows: The personal satisfaction students gained from hip-hop dancing came from increased physical strength, greater confidence and the enjoyment of group activity. Students reported a strong link between their friendships and school events participated in. However they showed a non- cooperative and unstable attitude towards teachers, learning activities and compliance with tile rules. Given that the students reported a sense of positive fulfillment from the physical exercise and team work involved in hip-hop dance, as well as increased confidence, it should be incorporated into the school's physical education programs so that students can continue to enjoy their hobby and derive the health benefits from it. Once set up and integrated into the physical education programs of the school, hip-hop dance contributes to the maintenance of high standards of healthy exercise In the school's sporting life.
대기압 아르곤 플라즈마 토치의 진동 및 회전온도 측정 연구

This work was carried out for the measurement of vibration and rotation temperature using the optical emission spectroscopy of nitrogen second positive system in the small plasma torch. Among emissions N2 SP systems, the emission of N2 SP(0-0) was so strong. Emission peaks of SP system increased until the position of 12.5[mm] from the end of plasma torch, after that it decreased. However, vibration temperature decreased from 1540[K] to 1000[K] at the position of 12.5[mm]. In addition, rotational temperature was about 400[K] at the position of 10[mm] and it increased a little as much of 420[K] at 12.5[mm]. Consequently, the plasma torch discussed in this work is possible to apply in the surface treatment process under the low temperature.
A Case of Adrenal Myelolipoma Associated with Hereditary Spherocytosis

Hereditary spherocytosis is the most common hereditary red blood cell membrane disorder. It results from a deficiency in certain proteins that are part of the red blood cell membrane cytoskeleton. We report a case of adrenal myelolipoma in a 23-year- old patient with hereditary spherocytosis. She was diagnosed with hereditary spher-ocytosis at 7 months of age. As she grew older, hemoglobin level was low, so splenec-tomy was recommended, but continuous follow up was not possible due to the cir-cumstances of the patient, so the splenectomy was delayed. Adrenal myelolipoma was discovered incidentally at the age of 23 with abdominal pain and cholecystitis with gallstones at the time. Myelolipoma is a benign tumor of the mesenchymal origin; its etiology remains unclear. Myelolipoma is composed of adipose and hematopoietic tissues and mainly arises from adrenal tissues. The mass is often detected during rou-tine radiologic examinations because myelolipoma is usually asymptomatic and not generally associated with hematologic diseases. The prevalence of myelolipoma ap-pears to be increasing due to the increased use of imaging modalities. The associa-tion of myelolipoma with hereditary spherocytosis has rarely been reported in the literature. To our best knowledge, this is the first report of adrenal myelolipoma asso-ciated with hereditary spherocytosis in the Korean population.

Catalyst- and seed layer-free zinc oxide (ZnO) thin films were grown on porous silicon (PS) by a hydrothermal method. Atomic force microscopy (AFM), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), X-ray diffraction (XRD),Raman spectroscopy, and photoluminescence (PL) were carried out to investigate the structural and optical properties of the PS and the ZnO thin films. The ZnO thin films have an extraordinary tendency to grow along the a-axis with a hexagonal wurtzite structure. The growth rate of the ZnO thin films was increased with the increase in the precursor concentration. The crystal quality of the ZnO thin films was improved,and the residual stress was decreased as their thickness increased. Monochromatic indigo and red light emission peaks were observed from the ZnO thin films and the PS, respectively. At an excessively high precursor concentration, a green light emission peak was also observed in the ZnO thin films. The luminescent efficiency of the indigo light emission peak was enhanced with the increase in the precursor concentration.
