Correlation Based Analysis of Parameter Change Propagation in Variant Product Design
Junzhi Shang,Bo Yang,Ning Ma,Changqing Gao 한국정밀공학회 2021 International Journal of Precision Engineering and Vol.22 No.4
Analysis of parameter change propagation is essential to ensure the consistency of the product’s integrated content as well as to capture the contextual impacts of a change proposal in variant product design. In this regard, a correlation-based approach is presented in this paper. The propagation of parameter change from one component to another in a product as well as from one key structure to another inside a component are studied. Firstly, a data fl ow model for change propagation as well as the basic units in parameter change propagation is proposed to illustrate the hierarchy and logical correlations between parameters. Then, change propagation network from the perspective of assembly is constructed by introducing “and” operation into the process. Change propagation coefficient is used to describe the change cost, based on which the optimal propagation path between components is selected. Thirdly, matrices are used to describe the correlation between parameters in different components. By introducing inner product into those matrices, change propagation path between parameters in different components can be obtained. Fourthly, the changed components are taken as the studied objects. Parametric correlation graph as well as quantitative expressing method is used to illustrate the parameter linkage inside the components. A searching method for parameter change propagation path inside components based on component modeling process is developed. Finally, the effectiveness of this method is verified by an example of an injection molding machine. The result confirms that our method can provide accurate estimation for the transfer process of the initial parametric change from macro-parameter changes in product to micro-parameter changes in components.

The factor of input in forestry is a key reason for the economic growth of forestry. This paper divided the country's 31 provinces (autonomous regions) into three categories by system clustering method, and constructed Panel Data Models respectively, in order to analyze the contributions of fixed forestry assets investment and labor input to forestry economic growth. The results show that three types of regions in the provinces of forestry factor inputs are quite different in promoting the forestry economic growth: labor inputs is the main driver of the economic growth, the forestry investment as a leading role in forestry is relatively weak for the forestry economic growth, namely the forestry economic development in China is still a labor-intensive type.
Design of vortex finder structure for decreasing the pressure drop of a cyclone separator
Yaquan Sun,Junzhi Yu,Weibing Wang,Shanglin Yang,Xue Hu,Jingan Feng 한국화학공학회 2020 Korean Journal of Chemical Engineering Vol.37 No.5
The structure of the vortex finder has an important influence on the pressure drop and separation efficiency of a cyclone, which mainly governs the separation process. In this paper, the traditional vortex finder is slotted on side wall and its bottom is closed, i.e., a slotted vortex finder. The impact of slotted vortex finder on the separation performance of a cyclone is explored by using numerical simulation and experimental validation. Specifically, the gas phase is studied by the Reynolds stress model (RSM), and the particle phase is simulated by the discrete phase model (DPM). The simulation results are in good agreement with the experimental results, revealing higher prediction accuracy. The results indicate that the slotted vortex finder can effectively suppress the generation of the downward swirling flow at the center of the vortex finder and decrease the turbulence intensity at the bottom of the vortex finder and the outer vortex, thereby decreasing the energy loss and increasing the separation efficiency. When the slot length is 0.2De, the slotted vortex finder can reduce the pressure drop by 143.33 Pa while increasing the collection efficiency by 5.51%.

<P>Mn-Ce-Ti mixed-oxide catalyst prepared by the hydrothermal method was investigated for the selective catalytic reduction (SCR) of NOx with NH3 in the presence of oxygen. It was found that the environmentally benign Mn-Ce-Ti catalyst exhibited excellent NH3-SCR activity and strong resistance against H2O and SO2 with a broad operation temperature window, which is very competitive for the practical application in controlling the NOx emission from diesel engines. On the basis of the catalyst characterization, the dual redox cycles (Mn4+ + Ce3+<-> Mn3+ + Ce4+, Mn4+ + Ti3+ <-> Mn3+ + Ti4+) and the amorphous structure play key roles for the high catalytic deNO(x) performance. Diffuse reflectance infrared Fourier transform spectroscopy studies showed that the synergetic effect between Mn and Ce contributes to the formation of reactive intermediate species, thus promoting the NH3-SCR to proceed.</P>

The statistical two-order and two-scale method is developed for predicting the mechanics parameters, such as stiffness and strength of core-shell particle-filled polymer composites. The representation and simulation on meso-configuration of random particle-filled polymers are stated. And the major statistical two-order and two-scale analysis formulation is briefly given. The two-order and two-scale expressions for the strains and stresses of conventionally strength experimental components, including the tensional or compressive column, the twist bar and the bending beam, are developed by means of their classical solutions with orthogonal-anisotropic coefficients. Then a new effective mesh generation algorithm is presented. The mechanics parameters of core-shell particle-filled polymer composites, including the expected stiffness parameters, minimum stiffness parameters, and the expected elasticity limit strength and the minimum elasticity limit strength, are defined by means of the stiffness coefficients and elasticity strength criterions for core, shell and matrix. Finally, the numerical results for predicting both stiffness and elasticity limit strength parameters are compared with the experimental data.

A democratic recession coupled with China`s rise has reopened the Asian values debate between modernizers in favor of Western liberal democracy and traditional adherents to Confucianism. Using data from the third wave of the Asian Barometer Survey (2010-2012), we reexamine this debate by considering the implications of Confucian values for democratic orientations in seven societies: Japan, South Korea, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Singapore, mainland China, and Vietnam. Our findings support the argument that, although traditionally Confucian societies have developed a belief system and culture different from the West, such a system does not preclude the emergence and divergence of democracy. Indeed, East Asians tend to define democracy in terms of social equity and good governance (performance-distributive democracy) rather than liberty and democratic procedures (liberty-procedural democracy).
Real Time Related Key Attack on Hummingbird-2
( Kai Zhang ),( Lin Ding ),( Junzhi Li ),( Jie Guan ) 한국인터넷정보학회 2012 KSII Transactions on Internet and Information Syst Vol.6 No.8
Hummingbird is a lightweight encryption and message authentication primitive published in RISC`09 and WLC`10. In FSE`11, Markku-Juhani O.Saarinen presented a differential divide-and-conquer method which has complexity upper bounded by 264 operations and requires processing of few megabytes of chosen messages under two related nonces (IVs). The improved version, Hummingbird-2, was presented in RFIDSec 2011. Based on the idea of differential collision, this paper discovers some weaknesses of the round function WD16. Combining with the simple key loading algorithm, a related-key chosen-IV attack which can recover the full secret key is proposed. Under 15 pairs of related keys, the 128 bit initial key can be recovered, requiring 227 chosen IV and the computational complexity is O(227). In average, the attack needs several minutes to recover the full 128-bit secret key on a PC. The experimental result corroborates our attack. The result shows that the Hummingbird-2 cipher can`t resist related key attack.
Implications of telomerase reverse transcriptase in tumor metastasis
Yongkang Zou,Yu-Sheng Cong,Junzhi Zhou 생화학분자생물학회 2020 BMB Reports Vol.53 No.9
Metastasis is the main culprit of the great majority of cancerrelated deaths. However, the complicated process of the invasion- metastasis cascade remains the least understood aspect of cancer biology. Telomerase plays a pivotal role in bypassing cellular senescence and sustaining the cancer progression by maintaining telomere homeostasis and genomic integrity. Telomerase reverse transcriptase (TERT) exerts a series of fundamental functions that are independent of its enzymatic cellular activity, including proliferation, inflammation, epithelia-mesenchymal transition (EMT), angiogenesis, DNA repair, and gene expression. Accumulating evidence indicates that TERT may facilitate most steps of the invasion-metastasis cascade. In this review, we summarize important advances that have revealed some of the mechanisms by which TERT facilitates tumor metastasis, providing an update on the non-canonical functions of telomerase beyond telomere maintaining.
