Soybean yellow common mosaic virus (SYCMV) has been recently reported, it has been occurred a lot with Soybean mosaic virus (SMV) and Soybean yellow mottle mosaic virus (SYMMV) in soybean field. SYCMV belongs to genus of Sobemovirus and induced viral symptoms with yellowing, mottle and mosaic. A reverse transcription loop-mediated isothermal amplification (RT-LAMP) method allowed one-step detection of gene amplification by simple procedure and needed only a simple incubator for isothermal template. This RT-LAMP method allowed direct detection of RNA from virus-infected plants without thermal cycling and gel electrophoresis. In this study, we designed RT-LAMP primers named SYCML-F3/B3/FIP/BIP from coat protein gene sequence of SYCMV. After the reaction of RTLAMP, products were identified by electrophoresis and with the detective fluorescent dye, SYBR Green I. under daylight and UV light. Optimal reaction condition was at 63 for 60min and the primers of RTLAMP showed the specificity for only SYCMV tested in this study.

This research tries to prove the effects of sales promotion and message related with special sale time deposits in the view of prospect theory. For this research, I set up two sales situations, and measured the effect of scarcity message and message framing on advertising attitude and purchase intention. Following results were confirmed by SPSS 12.0 to check their reliability, validity, and ANOVA. First, there wan no significant difference between scarcity message and message framing in advertising attitude and purchase intention. Second, it was confirmed that sales promotion with prime interest is more effective than regular sales condition in terms of advertising attitude and purchase intention. Third, there was significant two-way interaction between sex and sales condition in purchase intention. But there was no significant two-way interaction between sex and sales condition in advertising attitude.

19세기 중엽 프랑스 선교사들의 극동 정세 인식과 출병 문제

The Western in the 19th century regarded to enter the non-western society and awake the people, to receive the modern thought, life-style, institutions and culture, in a word, the western civilization as their own mission in this world. We call it 'civilizing mission' Those who assent to the evaluation of this civilizing mission were not only the imperialist bureaucracy or the western scholars. But also the Emperor and the government official, the missionaries who preach the Gospel, the anthropologists and the explorer, mostly thought that their activities would have a goof influence upon the non-western society. So we could consider the notion of 'civilizing mission' as a kind of the spirit of the times. In the middle of 19th century, more properly speaking, from 1836until 1866 French catholic missionaries administrated the Choson parish and worked for the propagation of the Christian faith among the korean people. They were the members of 'La Socie´te´ des Missions Etrange`res de Paris'. At that time, the french warship several times approached to the korean coast for the purpose of the commercial trade and the religious liberty. But the missionaries took a vague attitude toward the expeditionary activities of the french colonialist naval forces. We would pay attention to the reason why the french catholic missionaries had a dubious attitude to the colonialist policy of the french imperial government and the french military expedition. It is as follows: 1) In the persecution of Ki'hye(己亥敎難, 1839), three missionaries, Imbert. Maubant, Chastan. had been decapitated. Hence, the french catholic missionaries who were pursued by korean police, looked forward to encountering the french naval warship which navigated to Korea. Because they believed that the french army would menace the korean government to admit the religious liberty in korean society. Bishop Berneux went so far as to say that some korean people also wanted the french colonization of korea. 2) However, the french catholic missionaries of korean Parish heard the informations about the far eastern affairs which had happened in 1860's: the second Chino-Anglican war and the french expedition of Cochin-China. The french and anglican army committed massacre and pillage in two countries. Felt as hock from these news, the french missionaries changed their attitude, then turned to be reluctant for the french government and naval fleet to intervene in their missions and incredulous of the french expedition for the Korean Peninsula. 3) In addition. the missionaries were much influenced from the relgio-political crisis which was happened in Europe. In 1861,the french Emperor Napoleon In supported the Sardinian exerting pressure upon the Papal States for the purpose of the Italian unification. From this european political situation, the french catholic church began to suspect the french foreign policy to be anti-catholic. So the french catholic missionaries who worked in Korea in the middle of the 19th century. little by little, escaping from the euro-centric Perspective. could relativize the value of the Western modernization and the notion of 'civilizing mission'.

Various surgical approaches to the orbits have been used. But the transconjunctival approach, also called the inferior fornix incision, provides adequate access to the orbital floor with esthetic results. Additionally, transconjunctival approach with lateral canthotomy allows more wide surgical field and good access to the orbital area. Generally, preseptal approach is more used rather than postseptal approach in the transconjunctival incision for the prevention of fat herniation during surgery. There are some complications in transconjunctival approaches but these complications can be prevented with careful surgical techniques. We report clinical results in 12 patients who were treated by preseptal transconjunctival incision with lateral canthotomoy for the treatment of orbital trauma. We were satisfied with this technique for reduction and reconstruction of the orbital trauma and we could also observe relatively good esthetic results.

Path Stability of a Crack with an Eigenstrain

A slightly curved crack with an eigenstrain is considered. Solutions for a slightly curved crack in a linear isotropic material under asymptotic loading as well as for a slightly curved crack in a linear isotropic material with a concentrated force are obtained from perturbation analyses, which are accurate to the first order of the parameter representing the non-straightness. Stress intensity factors for a slightly curved crack with an eigenstrain are obtained from the perturbation solutions by using a body force analogy. Particular attention is given to the crack path stability under mode I loading. A new parameter of crack path stability is proposed for a crack with an eigenstrain. The path stability of a crack with steady state growth in a transforming material and a ferroelectric material is examined.

Aeration Alleviates Ethanol Inhibition and Glycerol Production during Fed-batch Ethanol Fermentation

In this study, we investigated the effects of aeration on ethanol inhibition and glycerol production during fed-batch ethanolfermentation. When aeration was conducted at 0.13, 0.33, and 0.8 vvm, the ethanol productivity, specific ethanol productionrate, and ethanol yield in the presence of greater than 100 g/L of ethanol were higher than when aeration was notconducted. In addition, estimation of the parameters (α and β) in a model equation of ethanol inhibition kinetics indicatedthat aeration alleviated ethanol inhibition against the specific growth rate and the specific ethanol production rate. Specifically,when aeration was conducted, the glycerol yield and specific glycerol production rate decreased approximately50 and 70%, respectively. Finally, the results of this study indicated that aeration during fed-batch ethanol fermentationmay improve the ethanol concentration in the final culture broth, as well as the ethanol productivity

Evaluation of Thermal Deformation in Electronic Packages

Thermal deformation in an electronic package due to thermal strain mismatch is investigated. The warpage and the in-plane deformation of the package after encapsulation is analyzed using the laminated plate theory. An exact solution for the thermal deformation of an electronic package with circular shape is derived. Theoretical results are presented on the effects of the layer geometries and material properties on the thermal deformation. Several applications of the exact solution to electronic packaging product development are illustrated. The applications include lead on chip package, encapsulated chip on board and chip on substrate.
