      • Remotely Sensing Image Fusion Based on Wavelet Transform and Human Vision System

        Wavelet transform has many good characteristics, used extensively in image fusion. In recent years, many algorithms have been developed, but there exist some inherent defects such as image blur, burr phenomenon, zigzag boundaries and image discontinuity. In this theory, without considering disadvantages of HVS, especially fused image should preserve brightness and texture features which are the most sensitive to eye, so a new algorithm combining them is proposed. Firstly, by calculating brightness and texture metrics in different wavelet decomposition subimages. And then, by using root mean square rule to get fused low frequency and high frequency coefficients respectively. Finally, performing inverse wavelet transform by the concatenation of low frequency and high frequency to gain fused image. In order to evaluate different algorithms, the assessment metric based on HVS is adopted, which is a more comprehensive and effective measure. Experiments merging IKONOS Pan image(resolution is 1 meter) with multispectral image (resolution is 4 meter) show that the proposed algorithm is the best on brightness, contrast, texture, definition, resolution, object edge regardness of visual effect and objective metric, also verifing human visual characteristic to be considered in image fusion.

        Fabrication and Conductive Performance of Antimony-Doped Tin Oxide-Coated Halloysite Nanotubes

        Antimony-doped tin oxide (ATO) was deposited on the surface of halloysite nanotubes (HNTs) to obtain conductive composite ATO/HNTs by a hydrolysis precipitation process. Structure and morphology of the samples were systematically characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD), thermogravimetry – differential scanning calorimetry (TG – DSC), transmission electron micro-scope (TEM), energy-dispersive spectrometer (EDS) and Fourier transform infrared (FTIR) spectroscopy. The results indicated that ATO nanoparticles were successfully coated as thin layers on the surface of halloysite and the particle size was ~7.4 nm when calcined at 700℃. The ATO/HNTs composites were obtained with a resistivity of ~430Ω · cm under the optimum experimental parameters. ATO layers were proved to attach to the halloysite surface via the Sn–O–Si or Sn–O–Al bonds. A corresponding coating mechanism was depicted.

      • Reliability Evaluation and Optimization Method in Power Communication Network Based on Environmental Factors and Controlled Hybrid Stochastic Petri Net

        The reliability of the power communication network is important to the stable operation of the power grid. Existing studies on the reliability evaluation of power communication networks rarely consider the factors of environmental changes. In fact, changes in the working environment of power service routing will affect the normal operation of the network. This paper studies the reliability evaluation method of power communication network based on environmental factors. The normal cloud model method is used to model the multiple environmental factors in the power communication network, and a controlled hybrid stochastic petri network is used to model and analyze the power transmission system with backup route. In simulation experiments, we compare our algorithm with the contrast algorithm that not considering the impact of environmental factors. The results show that our algorithm can well reflect the impact of changes in environmental factors on the reliability of the system, and more in line with the actual reliability changes of the power service transmission system.

        Comparison of Meat Quality Characteristics and Proteolysis Trends associated with Muscle Fiber Type Distribution between Duck Pectoralis Major and Iliotibialis Muscles

        This study was conducted to evaluate the proteolysis trends and change in meat quality during 10 days of cold storage in duck M. pectoralis major (PM) and M. iliotibialis (IL). Duck IL had a higher pH and greater degree of lightness but lower cooking loss than PM (p<0.05). During the 10-day cold storage, the pH value of PM declined significantly (p<0.05), while the meat quality traits of IL were not affected by cold storage (p>0.05). In PM, the redness increased from day 1 to day 5, while cooking loss was lower on day 10 compared to day 5 (p<0.05). There were no significant differences in the activities of cathepsin B and proteasome 20S during cold storage (p>0.05). The activity of calpains declined gradually during 10 days of storage (p<0.05), and the activity of calpains in PM was higher than that in IL (p<0.05). A total of 5,155 peptides were detected and derived from 34 proteins of duck PM muscle, whereas 4,222 peptides derived from 32 proteins were detected from duck IL muscle. Duck PM muscle was composed only of fast type of muscle fiber, whereas IL muscle was composed of both slow and fast types. The proteins responsible for glycolysis or myofibrillar proteins were closely related to changes in meat color or water-holding capacity during cold storage. These results suggest that changes in meat quality characteristics during cold storage are closely related to protein degradation, which is also related to the distribution of muscle fiber types.

      • Double-Lead Content Search Scheme for Producer Mobility in Named Data Networking

        In Named Data Networking (NDN), the processing of the packet is based on the data rather than the communication endpoint. It’s very suitable for the core demand of content sharing on the internet today. However, there are still some problems to be dealt with, including mobility support of the producer. By analyzing existing solutions, we put forward a solution finding MCS (Mobile Content Source) passively by HR(Home Repository) and leading interest packets to find MCS actively in the local scope at the same time to speed up to search MCS and to support NDN producer mobility. Triangle routing problem in single HR and low efficiency problem can be based on this solution. Experimental results show that our scheme does better in reducing delay with low handoff cost than other typical solutions.

        Rethinking Asia: the genealogy of critical thinking in East Asia

        The concept and connotation of critical thinking are formed based on human activities and social development in Europe and America, while relevant studies in East Asia are lacking. How to deconstruct the characteristics, formation and deep reasons of critical thinking in the East based on its continuous and dynamic human activities is still a challenge. Taking China as the research object, we reveal that the East also produces logic-based and intense critical thinking, and gradually integrates the characteristics of inclusiveness, euphemism, and result-oriented noun in the evolution, which can be attributed to the influence of war, religion, and nomadic and agricultural conflicts. This study is of great significance to the in-depth fundamental understanding of oriental critical thinking. It also holds promise to promote critical thinking education in East Asian countries and the cultural exchanges between the East and the West.

        Performance study of g-C3N4/carbon black/BiOBr@Ti3C2/MoS2 photocatalytic fuel cell for the synergistic degradation of different types of pollutants

        In this study, a bipolar visible light responsive photocatalytic fuel cell (PFC) was constructed by loading a Z-scheme g-C3N4/carbon black/BiOBr and a Ti3C2/MoS2 Schottky heterojunction on the carbon brush to prepare the photoanode and photocathode, respectively. It greatly improved the electron transfer and achieved efficient degradation of organic pollutants such as antibiotics and dyes simultaneously in two chambers of the PFC system. The Z-scheme g-C3N4/carbon black/BiOBr formed by adding highly conductive carbon black to g-C3N4/BiOBr not only effectively separates the photogenerated carriers, but also simultaneously retains the high reduction of the conduction band of g-C3N4 and the high oxidation of the valence band of BiOBr, improving the photocatalytic performance. The exceptional performance of Ti3C2/MoS2 Schottky heterojunction originated from the superior electrical conductivity of Ti3C2 MXene, which facilitated the separation of photogenerated electron–hole pairs. Meanwhile, the synergistic effect of the two photoelectrodes further improved the photocatalytic performance of the PFC system, with degradation rates of 90.9% and 99.9% for 50 mg L−1 tetracycline hydrochloride (TCH) and 50 mg L−1 rhodamine-B (RhB), respectively, within 180 min. In addition, it was found that the PFC also exhibited excellent pollutant degradation rates under dark conditions (79.7%, TCH and 97.9%, RhB). This novel pollutant degradation system is expected to provide a new idea for efficient degradation of multiple pollutant simultaneously even in the dark.
