        가상현실 예술 공간과 관객 몸의 혼종적 분산적 성격에 대한 연구

        가상현실을 필두로 한 기술적 이미지들의 출현은 이미지 자체에 대한 재규정뿐 아니라 이미지 구성에 적극적으로 참여하는 수용자, 관객에 대한 탐구를 요청한다. 가상성이 지닌 잠재적 역량이라는 본래적 의미가 이 가상에 개입하고 이것을 현실화하는 지각 주체를 통해 다시금 소환되기 때문이다. 본고는 가상현실 예술을 체험하는 관객의 몸이 코드화된 이미지와의 상호작용을 통해 가상적인 몸으로 변모되며, 이것이 프레이머로서 가상현실 이미지와 예술 공간을 구성함과 동시에 분산적이고 헤테로토피아적인 성격을 갖게 됨을 제시하고자 한다. 가상현실 예술 체험은 기존 예술 체험과는 다른 온몸 몰입의 상태를 유발하고 이 과정에서 관객의 몸은 가상적 이미지와 중첩됨으로써 가상화된다. 이것은 가상현실의 가상성을 몸이 현실화할 뿐 아니라 현실적인 몸이 가상현실 이미지에 의해 가상화된다는 것을 의미한다. 이 가상적인 몸은 탈육화된 몸이 아닌 코드화된 이미지의 비물질성과 몸의 물질성을 혼종적으로 결합하고 있는 몸이고, 이 몸과 코드화된 이미지 사이의 균열과 간격을 통해 새로운 이미지 공간이 구축된다. 그리고 이 이미지 공간은 다시 관객의 몸을 이질적이고 분산적인 몸으로 변모시킨다. 가상현실의 가상성은 이러한 방식으로 몸의 잠재성을 복원하고 활성화한다. The emergence of technical images, led by virtual reality, requires not only redefining the image itself, but also exploring the recipient, or the audience, who actively participates in image construction. This is because the original meaning of virtuality, that is potential capacity, is summoned again through the perceiving subject that intervenes in this virtuality and actualizes it. This paper attempts to suggest that the body of the audience who experiences virtual reality art through interaction with the coded image is transformed into a virtual body, which constitutes the virtual reality image and art space as a framer, and at the same time, takes on a dispersed and heterotopian character. The virtual reality art experience effects a state of full body immersion that is different from the existing art experience, and in this process, the audience's body is virtualized by overlapping with the virtual image. This means that not only the body actualizes the virtuality of virtual reality, but the real body is virtualized by the virtual reality image. This virtual body is not a disembodied body, but a body that hybridizes the immateriality of the coded image and the materiality of the body, where a new image space is built through the cracks and gaps between this body and the coded image. And this image space again transforms the viewer's body into a heterogeneous and dispersed body. The virtuality of virtual reality restores and activates the potential of the body in this way.

        ‘인상 깊은 자기소개서’ 작성법 연구 -공통교양 대학 글쓰기에서의 구체적 과정 제시를 중심으로-

        본고의 목적은 인상 깊은 자기소개서를 작성하되 그 방법에 있어서 구체적 단계와 세부적 활동 배치를 통해 학생들이 느끼는 글쓰기의 막막함을 최소화하고 몰입하도록 하는 데 있다. 자기소개서는 심사관의 마음을 움직일 수 없다면 힘을 얻기 어렵기 때문에 인상적일 필요가 있다. 따라서 이러한 자기소개서를 작성하기 위한 준비 단계로 ‘인생의 직·간접 체험 탐색하기’, ‘주제(혹은 소재) 선정하기’, ‘얼개 작성하기’ 활동을, 작성하기 단계에서는 ‘초고 작성하기’, ‘초고 조율하기’, ‘사례 글분석 후 2차 조율하기’ 활동을, 작성을 마무리하는 단계는 ‘피드백 주고받기’, ‘3차 조율하여 완성하기’ 활동을 배치하였다. 해석학자 딜타이가 ‘체험’이 바로 그 사람을 이해하도록 하는 가장 완벽한 자료라고 한 것처럼, 학생들은 자신의 인생을 돌아보고 떠올린 직·간접 체험을 주제에 맞춰 선택하고 배치하여 자신의 내면이나 세계관을 드러내도록 해야 함을 논의하였다. 이때 주제 선정에서 다른 사람과 차별성 없는 소재나 주제라도 고유의 내면이나 세계관을 드러낼 수 있다는 점을 짚어 주제 선정의 어려움을 완화할 수 있도록 하였다. ‘초고 조율하기’에서는 ‘표현 대상, 사건, 의도 등 구체화하기’, ‘당시 감정 활성화하기’, ‘스토리 덩어리 구분하기’, ‘소재, 체험 등의 의미화하기’ 등 4가지 조율점을 제시하여 자기소개서가 심사관의 공감이나 동일시를 이끌어내 ‘심리적 끈’을 형성할 수 있도록 하였다. 이러한 1차 조율 후 사례 글 논평을 통한 2차 조율, 학생 본인의 글에 대한 피드백 등의 논평을 통한 3차 조율에 이르는 n차 조율이 지속될 수 있도록 구체적인 활동을 제시하고 완성된 자기소개서를 작성할 수 있도록 하였다. n차 조율의 방식은 그때그때의 개선 사항을 짚어주고는 효력을 상실하고 마는 근시안적인 것이 아닌 주체적인 사고와 표현의 능력 향상을 도모하는 궁극적 교수학습법이다. 본고의 단계별 활동을 자기소개서 작성수업에 적용한다면, 학생들이 편안한 마음으로 글쓰기 과정을 따라가면서 인상깊은 자기소개서를 작성할 수 있는 여건을 형성해 줄 수 있을 것이다. The purpose of this paper is to write an impressive self-introduction letter, but in the method, it is to minimize the clutter and immerse the students in writing through specific steps and detailed arrangement of activities. Self-introduction letter needs to be impressive, as it's hard to gain power if you can't move the examiner's heart. Therefore, in the preparation stage for writing such a self-introduction letter, 'Exploring direct and indirect experiences of life', 'Selecting a topic (or material)', 'Writing an outline' activities, and in the writing stage, 'writing the draft', 'coordinating the first draft', and 'secondary coordination after analyzing case texts' activities, and at the final writing stage, 'exchanging feedback' and '3rd coordination to complete' activities was placed. Analyst Diltai said that ‘experience’ is the most perfect data to help you understand that person. In this way, this paper discusses the need for students to reflect on their lives and to reveal their inner self by selecting and arranging the experiences they remembered according to the theme. At this time, it was made to alleviate the difficulty of selecting a topic by pointing out that even a subject or subject similar to other people can reveal a differentiated inner side. In 'coordinating the draft', four coordination points were suggested: 'Refine the object of expression, events, intentions, etc.', 'Activation of emotions at the time', 'Segmentation of story chunks', and 'Semanticization of material, experience, etc.' This made it possible for the self-introduction letter to elicit empathy or identification with the examiner and form a 'psychological bond'. After the 1st coordination, the nth coordination from the 2nd coordination through case text commentary to the 3rd coordination through feedback on the student's own writing can be continued by presenting specific and step-by-step activities to write a completed self-introduction letter. The nth coordinating method is the ultimate teaching-learning method that aims to improve the ability of independent thinking and expression, rather than shortsightedness, which loses its effectiveness after pointing out the improvements from time to time. If these step-by-step activities in this paper are applied to the selfintroduction class, students will be able to create an environment where they can write impressive self-introductions while following the writing process with a comfortable mind.

        Intakes of Iron and Folate and Hematologic Indices According to the Type of Supplements in Pregnant Women

        Adequate amounts of nutrients during pregnancy are essential for maternal, fetal and child health. This study was conducted to investigate the intakes of iron and folate and the effect of supplements on anemia status during pregnancy. One hundred sixty five pregnant women completed questionnaires which included food frequencies and supplement use, and blood tests for hematologic indices. Pregnant women were divided into four groups based on the type of supplements; single nutrient group (S), multivitamins & minerals group (M), Single nutrient + multivitamins & minerals group (S+M), and no supplement group (N). Mean iron intake was 11.1 mg from food (46.3% of Recommended Nutrient Intakes, RNIs) and 66.8 mg from supplements. Mean folate intake was 231.2 μg from food (38.5% of RNI) and 822.7 μg from supplements. In the N group, the subjects who consumed iron and folate less than EAR were 85.7% and 95.2%, respectively. The subjects consumed iron more than UL were 81.0% in the S group, 88.9% in the M group, and 97.4% in the S+M group, and the subjects consumed folate more than UL were 4.8% in the S group, 1.6% in the M group, and 25.6% in the S+M group. The mean values of hemoglobin and hemotocrit in the M group were significantly higher than those in the N group. Despite the relatively high socio-economic status of the participants, overall intakes of iron and folate from food were far below the RNIs, suggesting that a supplement is needed for adequate nutritional status during pregnancy. A multivitamin supplement seems to be more effective than a single nutrient supplement such as iron or folic acid in the prevention of anemia. Further research is required to define the appropriate amount of supplemental iron and folic acid for Korean pregnant women.

        Elastomers and Composites : Research Papers ; Influence of Microstructure and Extender Oil on Cure Characteristics of Solution SBR Compounds

        Cure characteristics of non-oil-extended solution SBR (S-SBR_NO) and oil-extended solution SBR (SSBR_ EO) compounds reinforced with silica/carbon black were investigated. Minimum and maximum torques of SSBR_ EO compounds were much smaller than those of S-SBR_NO ones. Delta torques of S-SBR_NO compounds were greater than those of S-SBR_EO ones, and that of S-SBR_NO compound increased with increase in the 1,2-unit content. Optimum cure time (t90) of S-SBR compound decreased with increase in the 1,4-unit content, whereas it increased with increase in the 1,2-unit content. Cure rate index of S-SBR compound increased with increase in the 1,4-unit content, whereas it decreased with increase in the 1,2-unit content. Comparing cure characteristics of S-SBR_NO and S-SBR_EO compounds with the same 1,2-unit content, t90s of S-SBR_EO compounds were longer than those of S-SBR_NO ones and cure rate indices of S-SBR_EO compounds were smaller than those of S-SBR_NO ones.

      • Teasing from Parents and Siblings about Appearance Affecting Body Satisfaction and Self-Esteem of Middle School Students

        In this study, it is explored whether teasing from parents and siblings about appearance of children affects body satisfaction and self-esteem of middle school students. A total of 594 adolescents participated in the survey and the causal model was tested with the data. In results, parents’ and siblings’ teasing was significantly correlated. Parents’ and siblings’ teasing significantly affected body satisfaction that showed a significant impact on self-esteem. In the mean comparison by gender, female adolescents suffered more from parents’ as well as siblings’ teasing on appearance than did male adolescents. Female adolescents indicated lower body satisfaction than male adolescents whereas no gender difference was found in self-esteem. In the multiple-model comparison, both the parents’ and siblings’ teasing about appearance affected body satisfaction of female adolescents while only siblings’ teasing affected body satisfaction of male adolescents. The results indicate that female adolescents are more likely to be exposed to parents’ and siblings’ teasing about appearance at home than male adolescents, resulting in negative body satisfaction that is influencing self-esteem. The finding could be used as a basis for family education, calling for an attention to this issue.

        Sustainability education in textile and apparel programs in higher education - A web-based content analysis -

        This study explores sustainability education in textile and apparel (T&A) programs in U.S. higher education institutions. Specifically, the researchers study whether more courses with sustainability focus are offered in higher-ranked institutions and explore whether sustainability is taught more in specific T&A related subject fields. Content analysis was conducted for 3,200 courses found in online course catalogs or the course information sites of 69 institutions. Institutions were selected from the 2015 rankings of the top 50 fashion design and top 50 fashion merchandising schools in the US on www.fashion-schools.org. All cases were coded by two coders with a Cohen’s Kappa score of 97.5%, indicating good interrater reliability. Coded data were analyzed through descriptive statistics, correlation analysis, and t-tests. The findings show that sustainability is being integrated into the curricula and across courses of T&A programs in the U.S. Over half of the institution surveyed offered at least one sustainability embedded course. Higher ranked institutions provided more sustainability- related courses than power-ranked institutions. A natural match between the subject field and specific sustainability theme was observed (e.g., cultural diversity in history/culture and social psychology/education; recycle/reuse in textile science; sustainability in fashion design; social responsibility and ethics in industry/consumer). The need to introduce sustainability in courses holistically is discussed, whereby sustainability within the industry supply chain is examined in a connected way.

        Impressive progress in classical and quantum simulations put us in the luxurious position of having rich quantum data at hand. However, it can be challenging to extract theoretical insight from quantum data for states that are intrinsically quantum mechanical and characterized by quantum fluctuations or topological properties. This talk will discuss recent successes using machine learning approaches to meet the quantum data challenge and discover new physics in unbiased and interpretable manners.
