      • Mn-Bi계 자성체의 소결성

        Sinterability and formation of MnBi phase of Mn-Bi magnetic alloys were investigated by means of solid state as well as liquid-phase sintering using the compacts of pure Mn and Bi powders and also the compacts containing a small amount of Zn, Sn or Sb as additive. Compared with the case of pure Mn and Bi compacts, small addition of the third elements enhanced the sinterability of Mn-Bi system because of the improved wettability of liquid Bi to solid Mn. Small addition of the elements did not show any harmful effect on the magnetic properties of the alloys. In the case of the Sn or Sb addition, the ferromagnetic MnBi compound phase was formed during the sintering cycle. But it was found that the addition of Sn to Mn-Bi showed the best results of all. Magnetic properties of this case were as follow:Br=220 Gauss and bHc=140 Oe.

      • 2024-T_4 Al Alloy의 破壞擧動에 關한 硏究

        Stress-Corrosion Cracking deals with the fracture of Stressed metals having an environmental cause. It is to be distinguished from localized reactions such as intergranular Corrosion which operate independent of a tensional stress. Stress-Corresion cracking should also be distinguished from failures resulting from corrossion fatigue. The latter is a term applied to cracking of a metal subject to cycles of repeated or alternate stress in a corrosive environment. This paper is based on an experiment analysing the Stress Corrosion cracking behavior of 2024-T_4 Aluminum in 3.5% NaCl SoIution was investigated using precracked compact tension specimens by constant exposure method. Precracked Specimens were loaded externally in tension by constant deflection techniques. The results obtained in this study were as follows; 1. Crack was observed to propagate from Crack-tip perendicular to the direction of tensile Stress. 2. Threshold Stress of 2024-T_4 specimen was 12-13 Ksi √in at 4 X 10^-3 in/hr 3. Al alloys showing that intergranular crack-sensitive paths.

      • 자궁내 태아발육지연 예측에 있어서 태아 Ponderal index의 임상적 의의

        The ponderal index describes the relationship between weight and crown-heel length of the neonate based on the equation: Neonatal ponderal index=weight/ length³×100. The ponderal index is a sensitive method to diagnose asymmetrically growth retarded infants. Until recently, calculation of ponderal indexes in the fetus has not been possible. With recent advances in the real-time ultrasound technology, it is possible to calculate the ponderal index in utero. The present study was designed to determine the relationship between the ultrasound fetal ponderal index and the neonatal ponderal index found at birth, and to evaluate the efficacy of the fetal ponderal index in predicting intrauterine growth retardation in infants with neonatal ponderal indexes below the tenth percentile for age. The results obtained were as follows: 1. There was no significant difference between the mean prenatal and postnatal values for weight, length, and ponderal index. 2. 15 of 125 cases(12%) had neonatal ponderal indexes below the tenth percentile for age at birth. Of these, 11 had also fetal ponderal indexes below the tenth percentile(sensitivity 73.3%). Of the 110 remaining infants with normal neonatal ponderal indexes, 87 had also normal fetal ponderal indexes(specificity 79.1%). 3. There were 33 infants with fetal ponderal indexes below the tenth percentile but 11 had neonatal ponderal index below the tenth percentile at birth(positive predictive value 33.3%). 4. Of the 92 with normal fetal ponderal indexes, 88 were also normal at birth(negative predictive value 95.7%). In conclusion, it is suggested that the calculated fetal ponderal index could be used to rule out fetal growth retardation with reasonable accuracy.

        In this study, the present condition of foreign country's "Sports for all" is investigated through documentary records. And the actual state on the participation in "Sports for all" and leisure activities, focused on Chuncheon, are investigated by questionaires. As the results of that, following results are attainable. 1. Individual and light exercises such as badminton and table tennis are preferred. 2. Public services are used as sports equipments. 3. The purpose of taking exercise is for the improvements of health and physical strength. 4. There is an attitude that leisure activity is more important than business. 5. The people who take part in exercise are friends and families. 6. The reason why can't enjoy sports is the lack of leisure time. 7. The costs of leisure activity for a month are about 50-190 thousands won.

      • Polyacrylate 수화겔의 약물방출특성에 관한 연구

        SAc hydrogels were prepared by crosslinking of concentrated aqueous solutions of poly(acrylamide)(PAm) and poly(sodium-acrylate)(PSAc) in N_(2) gas. The equilibrium swelling studies of SAc hydrogels were carried out in solution of varing pH. The gel was swollen extensively in the solution of pH 6 when compared to that of pH 2. Riboflavin and L-ascorbic acid was loaded and the in vitro release studies were carried out in pH solution. The results of this study suggest that drug release is proportion to swelling ratio. SAc hydrogel with drug is corresponded to the soluble matrix pharmaceutical preparation.

        Business accounting provides a manager with information concerning the financial state and business standing, which lay the foundation for future management policy. Accounting serves the function of calculation and report. The calculation of profit and loss, the essence of business administration, must be conducted on the basis of accurate period. A statement of profit and loss enters all the profit and the accompanying expenses whithin the accounting term in order to clarity the result of a business administration. However, according to new business accounting plicy in our country, the source of net profit must be clarified through calculation of extraordinary profit and loss and ordinary profit and loss. Therefore, accounting must be an accurate evaluation of business administration rather than a simple statement of financial state. In another word, the essential role of business accounting is to make out a correct statement of profit and loss upon the basis of the fair principle, rule and standard of accounting. the importance of this statement is reflected by its first priority among all financial statements. The surplus statement system is no longer in use. The current financial statement system requires the handling of the statement of profit and loss in following fashion: the increase of surplus profit brought forward is handles as extraordinary profit; the decrease of surplus profit brought forward is handled as extraordinary loss. Likewise, profit and loss must be handled properly upon the principie of regular double-entry bookkeeping. And proper handling of profit, the index of management standing, is the key to the most ideal business administration, which in trun makes a great contribution to economic prosperity of the nation.

      • GIS를 이용한 하천의 프랙탈 특성 분석

        This study analyzed fractal characteristics of river by using GIS. In this study, topographical factors in river basin was grid-analyzed for each cell size by using GIS and regression formula was derived by analyzing correlation among topographical factors and cell size which were calculated here. And, analysis of fractal characteristics of river by using the result calculated from 1) showed that among topographical factors, rover length only increases according as cell size increases. The result of calculating fractal dimension for each cell size shows that river length, basin area, and centroidal flow path are 1.028, 1.0026 and 1.0061 respectively.

      • 5년간 집단 검진에 의한 연취급 사업장 근로자들의 건강수준 평가

        To evaluate the health status of workers in lead using industries under supervision by Soonchunhyang University Institute of Industrial Medicine as part of program of group occupational health service and find out longitudinal changes of health status of lead workers through the service for 5 years from 1989 to 1993, authors analyzed 5 years's periodic health examination data which comprised 29 lead using industries with 40,035 total cumulative number of workers. Selected variables for this study were screening results of general health examination and final results of confirmative health examination for the general health examination which dealt with office workers and blue collar workers with no exposure of hazardous condition. For the special health examination, zinc protoporphyrin in whole blood (ZPP) and screening results of special health examination were selected for study variables. For the confirmative special health examination with screening positive workers, blood lead(PbB), delta-aminolevulinic acid in urine, ZPP, and final result were selected for study variables. Information on age, sex, and type of industries were also collected. The results obtained were as follows; 1. The five years screening positive rate for general health examination was 13.7% and 5 years rate for C category which did not need further confirmative recheck was 5.2%. 2. While the proportion of liver disease in C category in primary general health examination was 49.2% those of anemic disease and hypertensive disease were 23.3% and 27.5% respectively. 3. Five years screening positive rate and negative rate for storage battery industries, secondary smelting related industries, telecommunication related industries and other industries were 83.4% and 12.4 %, 76.5% and 17.5%, 75.5% and16.4%, and 79.5 and 14.4% respectively. 4. Screening positive rate for 5 years were increased as age increased from 9.0%(age less than 30 years ) to 21.1% (age more than 40 years). 5. Only 22.1% of screening positive workers for 5 years general health examination were diagnosed as confirmed general diseases and 33.1% were revealed as normal. The rate of confirmed general diseases were differed by the type of industries and they were increased by age increased. 6. The rate confirmed general disease and non-disease in screening positive of liver, cardiovascular, tuberculosis and chest, anemic and renal disease category were 25.5% & 14,5%, 22.8% &37.2% 21.5% &23.0% 62.0% & 7.0%, and 16.5% & 53.9% respectively. 7. The 5 years prevalence rate of confirmed general disease(D_(2)/total workers) and prevalence rate of abnormal finding(C+D_(2)) were 3.21% and 14.9% as a whole. By the screened disease category, those rate were 1.23% &6.89% for liver disease, 1.17% & 5.43% for cardiovascular disease, 0.96% &1.64% for tuberculosis and chest disease, 0.76% & 1.02% for anemic disease and 0.03% & 0.06% for renal disease respectively. 8. The five years screening positive rate of all lead workers with the criteria of the measurement of ZPP(>=100㎍/㎗) was 10.2% (female lead workers :25.5% male lead workers :8.1%). The positive rate has tendency to decrease year by year from 1989 to 1993. The phenomenon of decrease of rate was significant in storage battery industries, but not apparent in secondary smelting related industries. 9. The proportion of lead poisoning (D_(1)) among screening positive of lead workers was 14.9% for 5 year special health examination and rest of screening positive were diagnosed as high lead absorption. White the proportion of D_(1) was 8.8% in storage battery industries, that was 23.9% in secondary smelting related industries. 10. The distribution of screening positive lead workers by the group of ZPP for 5 years as a whole was 48.3%, 20.9%, 20.5% and 10.3% in the group of ZPP 100-149㎍/㎗, 150-199㎍/㎗, 200-299㎍/㎗ and above 300㎍/㎗, respectively. 11. The proportion of screening positive lead workers whose blood lead were above 60㎍/㎗ and whose urine ALA were above 10㎎/ℓ were 53.3% and 61.4%, respectively. 12. The 5 year overall prevalence rate of lead poisoning (D_(1)/all lead workers) was 0.142%(female lead workers:0.116%, male lead workers:0.145). For the rate of high lead absorption((C+D_(1))/all lead workers) was 0.945%(female lead workers:2.36, male lead workers :0.756). The above prevalence was decreased in later year of study period than early year of study period.
